Imai couldn’t help but notice the lack of gunfire coming from the chopper from her position behind the leather couch. The Biotic slowly approached one of the windows and looked out to see Kragen in the helicopter battling against the pilot.
“The man’s insane!”
Imai didn’t know if that was a good or bad thing right now. She decided to assure their escape route as she looked out the window, seeing a vehicle down in the parking space behind the building. Turning around she ran out of the room, to the flight of stairs and descended them until finally coming out of the parking lot and getting inside the vehicle. Keeping an eye out on her surroundings she hot wired the vehicle to get it moving, now driving out of the parking lot and tracking the chopper up above so she can be in position to break his fall with her biotics should he fall or jump off the helicopter. |

Kragen punched the pilot with a right and followed up with a left. The pilot came back with a kick to the mid-section and then an elbow to his back when Kragen was forced into a hunch. Kragen forced himself forward, slamming the pilot into the controls and badly damaging them. One way or another this chopper was going down. "You fool!" shouted the pilot. "You've killed us both!" Kragen took out a knife and held the man down. "Just you." He stabbed the pilot straight in the eye, penetrating the brain before releasing his hold on the pilot. Putting the knife away Kragen looked around for a parachute and found one in the back. He jumped out with the parachute and pulled the string, setting it off and using it to glide down towards Imai's position while the helicopter crashed into a nearby building.
That wasn't coming out of his wallet.

Imai caught where Kragen was coming down from the air after witnessing that plane crashed. He was a man that liked to play it close to the wire apparently but she couldn’t argue with his results. Slamming her foot down on the gas Imai quickly made her way to the spot Kragen was destined to land on and unlocked the doors of the vehicle, rolling down the window so the man could hear her.

Kragen cut the parachute from his back and ran over to Imai's vehicle shutting the passenger's side door upon entry. He looked out the window over his handy work one more time before putting on his seat belt for the drive ahead. This place would no doubt be swarming with more soldiers after that crash and who knows what else. Best to leave it all behind for now.

Imai rowed up the windows and locked the doors before stepping down on the gas pedal and driving away from the area. Some will begin to wonder what has happened here, others won’t care, but one thing was for certain. The revolution has begun. The End! |
