Yes it's that time again and this time I have cornered the one, the only, "The Night Angel" Amoura!

Hi, I'm Virginia, otherwise known as Ginny or Amoura. I have an addiction to sugary substances and all things fuzzy...and shiny. And by fuzzy I mean cute little critters that I can punt into a cany--*cough* Next question?
How did you come about creating the Amoura character and how much development has she undergone since her initial creation?
Well, Frosty made a DMC site and he told me all about the game. I was interested, played some of it, watched cut scenes and thought, "Hrm. Would be interesting to have a character that was the offspring of Mundus. If he created someone like Trish, why not have children to enforce his rule?" I wasn't sure how to play a demon but I was very familiar with vampire. I wanted some familiar ground with a new character so I went for a hybrid.
Amoura started off as fairly confident in herself but wanted nothing to do with fighting. She sealed off all her powers, say for basics, and just tried to live a normal life away from all that's happened. When she met Dante, played by Frosty, she was pretty much smacked down due to her lack of experience. The bet was if she lost, she had to work for Dante.
Natural, there was much raging on her part.
From there, she met Ranka, got shot by the Anaconda (YEEEEOUCH. That hurt like a bitch!) when Veran possessed her, had her vampiric powers awoken and it all goes from there. I revealed a lot of her story on this forum.
"She became insane through the tortures it put her through, only to have Ranka bring her inches from her death before making her a vampire." As quoted by Tajna.

When you had the thread with Veran three years ago did you ever think the events to follow would become as big as it did?
Actually, no. I thought Tajna was just being a dick to my character since I've usually been on the receiving end of being punted around like a rag doll
but I loved the character development that came out of it.
Even if it made an Emora for quite some time.
What's it like working with Ayen and Fukari on the Staff Team?
It's an acquired taste sin--
Ayen: *body slams*
Fukari: 3, 2, 1! YOU'RE OUT!
But in all honesty, it's great. Both are great staff members, better than I could ever be --since I'm so busy as of late thanks to a certain someone *eyes boyfriend*--and I applaud them for their hard work.
After being on the receiving end for so long what's it like having a hand in other characters development?
Dear god I love it. Seeing my characters finally impacting other characters and spurring development makes me so happy. Happier than the time I drank a whole bottle of sparkling cider then eating pop rocks. Or when I combined Mountain Dew with pop rocks.
It's fantastic.
Where did the inspiration for the Sasha character dawn from?
You see, it started off like this:
Me: I have *munches on candy* an amazing idea.
Ross: Mmhm?
Me: Well you see *crunch* people keep making these badass characters who are always so fucking serious *munch* so I need something new.
Ross: o.O What?
Me: I am going to...*thinks and gets a sugar rush* IAMMAKINGACHARACTEROBSESSEDWITHSHINIES! I'm a genius.
Ross: xD
Yeup. That's how it went from there. Not even joking.
What, in your opinion, is the greatest thread to be featured on DOA this far?
Oh, fuck. I'm going to have to say Valley of Death. So many people got involved in that thread, there was a lot of development and amazingness was had.
What are some other characters on the forum that stand out to you the most?
Three characters stand out to me: Miracle, Maricul and your character, Chloe.
1) A twelve year old priestess going against an unstoppable force while showing no fear? Never once losing her faith in her god while going against Beelzebub? Playing a character like that is no small feat. Miracle has got to be one of the most amazing characters I have seen on this forum and inspirational at that. She's fought in battles that would cripple the weak of mind but has proven to be a very gentle, loving, forgiving soul. I can't wait to see more of this character in action because I know after this Arashi threat is dealt with there will still be a lot more to do.
2) I've role played with Maricul since Endgame and, dear god, she's come a long way from being just a seductive vampiress that likes to cause some havoc here and there. I remember when she started off as a regular vampire with amnesia, found her sire and other events transpired to make her remember who and what she was. From there, she was still a regular nightwalker but in time, became a powerful adversary. Maricul tapped into powers that made less want to challenge her and became a much more headstrong character. Now look at her.
3) As for your character, I'm proud to see what she's become. First, Chloe was a blood junkie with no sense of morales, having made the transition from human to vampire, and she learned a lot along her new path. I was shocked when your character wanted help in controlling her bloodlust and she's learned how to contain herself with the Nightmare still affecting her. It took my character years to start fighting back against it and it only took Chloe a matter of months–that's a strong mental fortitude for you. I rarely took part in truly helping someone develop a character (at least that I'm aware of) and it's a real treat to see the results.
When is Argus going to make his move onme Chloe?

What's in the future for Amoura after the dust settle on a plot three years in the making?
I have no clue. I'm sure I'll figure something out like I usually do but she may be in the background for once so I can develop other characters. *plotting hands*
