"Fleshling, wake up."
A square, metallic foot prodded the downed form, a teenager with short and thick hair wearing a black shirt and dark-blue baggy pants. The lad's clothes were loose and heavy as the metal toe prodded him, then loudly stepped back. The kid opened his eyes slowly opened as he looked around, stones and low lights from glowing stones. Odd, this wasn't home, this was far from it.
"ugh... Anyone get the number of that truck?"
He put a hand to his head, feeling the throbbing of his temples, like his brain was on fire and trying to burst out the sides. A voice with a metallic whine to it responded.
"No, and if I did I wouldn't care."
The machine turned its head, glass eyes resembling a large pair of shades as it spoke again. "Got a name, human?" The teenager rose to his feet slowly, he had an athletic build, in shape with out being remarkably slim, and he seemed to get himself straightened out quickly. "Call me Zach... And what do I call you?" he looked at the machine, easily over 7 feet tall and in the form of a humanoid, though with harsh angles and a boxy appearance, his body a chromed off-purple with lighter areas. "Normally I don't give my name to organics, but since we're the only people around... Call me Rumble." Zach put his hand in his clothes, felt what he was looking for, then turned his head down the hall. "What about them?" Rumble shrugged, tilting his head. "Wellll..." The girl raised her head and smiled, hands clasped. "I am Zelda, Princess of Hyrule." She had a voice like silk, and skin as pale as the moon. The short man, roughly four feet tall with a great beard tucked into his belt spoke gruffly, pushing the sky-blue hood back from his lined face. "Thorin Oakenshield, King Under the Mountain, at your service."
Zach gave a bow to the princess and shook hands with Thorin, "Cool, I've never met royalty before." Thorin chuckled. "I never met a being like Rumble before... But it seems we're all still lost in this maze." It burned Thorin to admit this, since Dwarves were exceptionally good at traversing mazes and tunnels. Zelda gave a small sigh, she had been following Thorin and Rumble for a while, but her guides didn't seem capable of leading her out of this strange labyrinth. Admittedly they were lost within the floors of the Downward Spiral, They could be miles underground or high above the clouds for all they knew, stuck in the windowless structure which seemed bigger on the inside then on the outside.
"This place is crazy, huge, and has doors leading to some pretty messed up places, and I'd bet my boron compressor that one of those doors leads back to Cybertron, heck I bet all our homes are around here somewhere..." Thorin nodded, hands on his belt as he looked up at the Decepticon. "Well spoken, Rumble. But I've not been in a hall or cave like this before, and Zach is the first living being we've seen in some time..." Zelda smiled and looked to Zach. "What is your home like?" Zach gave a rather nervous smile, as an honest to goodness princess had taken an interest in his home. "It's home, I miss it and my friends... I wonder what happened to them..."
Deep within the tower, something stirred, intruders were detected wandering the innermost corridors and snaking through the hallways not meant for mortals to trod. The Downward Spiral detected unwelcome guests, and the Downward Spiral would defend itself. Just as a living being's own body defends itself, the tower let out its Antibodies, its white blood cells. There came a loud thud as air was pushed aside and a bright flash as matter was called into being. Two individuals appeared. One had light blue skin and wore dark blue greeves, a dark leather harness, and a fur loincloth. A similarly dark blue cloak and hood covered his skull head and he held a large staff in his hands.
The other appeared with a silver mask akin to a massive monstrous grin, black glass forming a large visor. Exposed red muscles surrounded with a metal frame and tubes carrying strange liquids. He held a large staff of solid metal with a pronounced Z at the top and his exposed brain was crowned with a metal ring and another, smaller Z emblazoned the front of this head-dress. He looked to his skull-faced companion then ahead, walking through the tower. Just as the human body's defenses have white bloodcells, the Downward Spiral dispatched Skeletor and Lord Zedd to deal with all interlopers they came across.
