Zach came around the corner, Joshua's glove wrapped around his face, he heard the gunshot and felt the pain lance through his body, the nickel-sized entry wound and ragged exit wound. His collar-bone was split in half and his shoulder-blade was blown apart. Joshua watched a seemingly massive spray of his blood spray out and hit the wall of the building, he felt his right arm spasm and let go of the wall, his right arm roughly tugging at Zach's face and dragging the soldier out of the window as Joshua fell with him, both falling several floors.
Pavement really hurts, thank got it was only a couple of floors otherwise that would've been REAL Messy.
Joshua landed hard, his ears were ringing and he KNEW he'd put something out of place somewhere. He rebounded from the ground, feeling his body raising up almost a foot after bouncing off of the unforgiving and indiscriminate concrete before landing again. His bullet-hole'd shoulder tearing painfully and leaving a rather large blood splatter, and another. With a weak groan and a massive amount of effort, after what felt like an eternity letting adrenaline dull everything but his purpose, Joshua pulled himself to his feet, his hand wrapping around the gushing wound in his shoulder. That'll take time and a number of trained professionals to heal properly, But for now pressure to slow the bleeding and a staggering retreat was all he could provide. The King of Hands staggered out of the alleyway, hobbling away and feeling his head spinning. If he survived his escape he knew he'd regret it when the pain kicked back in.
