"No. I had enough!" Dianne left the home she and Chloe was staying in after the sun went down, needing some fresh air, which was redundant considering what she but here she was out there all the same alone on the streets. Trying to get peace of mind when it couldn't be any farther to achieve in her current state. She cursed them. The ones responsible for her being like this. She cursed them all, hoping that they would receive their "just deserts" for all the pain they've caused. Hoping they would die a thousand times over for plaguing both Chloe and herself with these visions. They deserved it.
Once upon a time Dianne stalked the streets of Hallowton as a proud predator of the night. While she never took their lives, she spread fear into all their hearts and made the people afraid to leave their houses when the sun came down. Part of that fear remained in the city, combined with everything else that Hallowton has been put through, but Dianne wasn't the same woman anymore. She didn't have the fire, the desire to be that creature anymore. She was merely a shadow of her former self and no matter how hard Chloe tried, Dianne would never be that woman again.
Never.

"Dianne! Dianne, get back here this instance!" Chloe felt like a mother yelling at a child. They haven't even begun to dive into the psyche of the Nightmare and already Dianne was calling for a quits. Chloe picked up the pace but not by too much as she didn't wish to stand out in a village that has already gone through so much because of her mere presence. Ever since the invasion it has been very difficult for Chloe to show her face around here but luckily enough for her, most of the Hallowton citizens were pacifists and weren't the type to seek revenge. Chloe finally caught up to Dianne and grabbed her shoulder, forcing the vampire to look her in the eye as she spoke. "How do you expect to beat this thing if you give up at the first opportunity?"

Clash stopped and blinked, he'd been walking around Hallowton and had found himself staring at two familiar faces. Both Chloe and Dianne he remembered from that confusing bar in Isafaro. Things were going well... then horribly... then well again, then abruptly ended with the interference of the only hot chick that didn't seem interested in the evenings activities and her squad of hired goons. Chloe had hurt him multiple times, and Dianne seemed interested in his life's blood more than what was initially offered by his fellow patrons. Then again he was a shark and these people didn't seem to mind that.
"Oh Hai!" Clash waved and started to walk towards the two of them, his expression quite happy to see them but changing to one of concern as he realized they were in the middle of something, they both looked quite concerned and Chloe had her hand on Dianne's shoulder. He felt suddenly worried for these people who he now decided were his friends. Clash ran a hand through his blond hair and took a few quick steps towards them. "What's wrong?"

"Blood transfusion," came the simple reply to Chloe's rhetorical. "If the infection spreads through blood then a blood transfusion will get rid of it." Only thing left was to travel to the one place on Jherra with the equipment to make such a thing possible, Isafaro. Dianne would also have to find a 'volunteer' to be plagued. It wouldn't bother her any. Never again would she have to endure and she wasn't about to argue about it with Chloe. Dianne shook off from her grip and then turned, looking surprised at the sight of the blonde she had almost slept with back at Isafaro alongside that soldier and the half demon skank.
"You..."

Chloe blinked, clearly taken aback by the answer. She didn't know whether or not that was pure genius or the most idiotic thing she's ever heard. Even if it did work Dianne was just damning another in the process and that fact alone was enough to anger the vampiress. "You would doom another just to be free of it? You would ruin an innocent person's life just so you can be as you were!?" Chloe moved to grab Dianne's throat but the sound and smell of a familiar person broke her attention away from Dianne. Her eyes widened, and a small hiss came from the vampiress while her gaze settled on the man she met back at the Crystal Expanse and Isafaro. The man who made her fall in piss and touched the object of her desire, which was Dianne at the time, and one of her least favorite people.
"You!" Chloe sniffed the air and his scent one more time to be certain. There was no doubt about it, that scent was unlike anything else living in Hallowton right now and could only belong to one person. "You son of a shark!" Needless to say Chloe was still sore over their past experiences, and some of them weren't even entirely his fault. But the more things changed, the more they stay the same. Chloe's stubbornness hasn't come to a complete end just yet. "What are you doing here?"

Clash stopped and blinked, then remembered: Oh right, he and Chloe had an AWESOME history! Chloe didn't seem to see it that way, so Clash simply tilted his head and blinked at her. He wore an expression of concern, having picked up snippets of their conversation. "You're getting a blood transfusion?" The poor shark wasn't aware of the struggles the two vampiresses were undergoing, he wasn't aware of their predicament, the contamination brought upon them by the reality-jumping vampires from that other world. He was worried, these were people familiar to him, though Chloe admittedly more so than Dianne. Nevertheless they were both people Clash had decided were important to him and he wanted to help them.
"Why do you need a blood transfusion?" He moved a little closer, taking somewhat small and nervous steps. These were vampiresses, his human form was a plaything, cardboard and newspaper in their hands. Clash didn't want a confrontation, he just was curious. His expression showed that quite well as he moved a little closer again, hoping they'd share with him.

Chloe acted surprise when in reality she really shouldn't be. At the end of the day Dianne was an animal who would sell Chloe down the river if it ensured her own survival. So what if the blood transfusion could haunt someone else with the nightmares? The only thing that mattered to this vampire was getting rid of it, by any means necessary. And if she had to mow down Chloe to get that done, so be it.
Clash was now asking questions and Chloe was beside herself with rage towards the male, no doubt still angry about what she walked in on between Clash and herself. Dianne didn't regret that either and had that woman in black never broke it up, Dianne would have bled all three of them dry that night. Ayanna Kaktas ultimately saved the three from a painful death. In Drake's case, a possible siring. After a brief moment of silence, with Dianne trading another glance with Chloe, the vampire replied.
"It's complicated."
