The thing about Amoura and Zira imo is a trade off between pure skill and magical powerhouse. Zira I think is the more competent sword fighter of the two. She perfected the styles that Sparda has crafted centuries ago and she uses telepathy, telekinesis and pyrokinesis as extras to make her moves more devastating. With Amoura it's the complete opposite. She's like Maricul. The things you have to look out for the most is her black magic and of course The Waking Nightmare. Neither one of them are wimps by any stretch of the imagination though. But they have two very different approaches to fighting.
I pretty much agree with Garrus. I don't think Other's pride will even allow her to acknowledge that this person really beat Mundus. "Naw! Fluke victory! Zira couldn't beat Father in a real fight she can't even beat me."

It's only amoura, Zira will be fine. lol what a terrible payoff. You go through the trouble of all that buildup with the twins and the killer can't even be bothered to put effort in? I'm sorry but if the killer herself can't get excited about it, why should we? We get it, you two. You don't like Amoura. Don't read her threads if she bothers you so much otherwise, you're only proving to the rest of us that you're here solely to be a pain in the ass and I know I speak for a large portion of the member base when I say we're not going to put up with your shit anymore. |

You overlook the fact Other is a bitch. She's acting exactly as the character would in this situation. To add to this I think it makes sense that Other wouldn't take Zira seriously as a warrior. Amoura is the older sister and one has to imagine that the older sister is probably the strongest of the two. An evil version of that is bound to be more arrogant and therefore not feel like they should have to put much effort into beating somebody they find to be inferior to them. It may not have been the writer's intention (I don't know for sure and won't assume anything) but it still makes sense with what has already been established. I'm sure as the fight progresses we'll see Other taking it more seriously. I always saw it as the Mundus equivalent to the Sons of Sparda where a fight between the two could go either way. |

I'll add in my own two cents since I originally created the character back on Mortis (just never got around playing her, so it's fun to see someone else take the reigns).
Other is an incarnation of Amoura if she had never rebelled against her father, and gave into her heritage - all in a world where Sparda was defeated and the Prince of Darkness made supreme ruler of all existence. Other dedicated her entire life to her father's ruling and the eradication of the human race. She despises them more than anything, so much so in fact that she resents seeing certain demons confine themselves to a human appearence.
She was the heir to Mundus' throne, and a ruthless ruler at that. When she discovered that Zira took it upon herself to protect humans, it was an insult to her own flesh and blood. She took it upon herself to kill her sister as a duty for her indignations, and would make a point of destroying everything she held dear, just as Zira had in betraying their father.
Other is a humongous bitch, and she's just about to get her vengeance.

I'm sorry but if the killer herself can't get excited about it, why should we? I'm not trying to explain this in any way, but perhaps it just came out wrong. In a way I kinda get it. It's kinda like reading the book where the reader decided to make the killer suddenly apathetic. Putting character aside. I think the problem is that it just seems apathetic. Which to the reader translates the same way. (At least for me.) Long story short, I think the comment might've been taken a different way then it was intended. Still I'm throughly enjoying the thread. I'm sure as the fight progresses we'll see Other taking it more seriously. I also agree with this. It's all in how you look at it? Does that one post mean the entire thing will have a disappointing payoff? Or does it mean they'll work, improve the suspense for a much better payoff then it would have otherwise? Having seen a few of their threads I'm going for the second. |

pffft he'd be top of the list if everyone wasn't afraid of him all the time.
Either way this could quite possibly be an interesting fight, then again Other's already proved that she's easily defeated with a single "Bump"
