The stars were aligned, the moon at its full phase which caused the Stonehenge to cast elongated shadows over the grassy moor. Under the pale light, people began to walk towards the center; they looked more like ghosts from a troubled past and surrounded the center of the stone structure.
["So ya'll got the same message I reckon'?" A woman with flaming red hair twirled a bracelet around her forefinger before clasping it firmly against her palm. "Any got any idea what's goin' on? I'm just dyin' to know."
"None." Another female in the group drew back her hood. Sky blue eyes without pupils scanned the arrivals warily. Her porcelain features were framed by her jet-black hair, which was cut at an angle with the longer locks resting against her chin. "I'm guessing you three have a say?"
"No." A young man with a slender frame and slicked back blond hair tapped his foot against the grass, "Unless you two know what’s going on? You always seem to."
"We have foreseen a future gathering of our order at the call of an outsider,” two stated simultaneously. They joined hands and stood close to each other, "one who may bring to light the events of the Arashi and The Seductress.”
"Can yew guys just, ya know, tone down the creepy factor?" The redhead cringed, ”I know what yew do is important an’ all bu’…”
”Enough. You should be used to them by now, Jadena.”
”Oh, Alora, let her be creeped out. She’s so cute when she squirms.” The blonds’ tongue snaked out and licked his lips while he eyed Jadena in a lustful manner.
”Yeah, cute to yew, but I’m certain I could tan yer scrawny ‘ide if you keep that up.”
"Bringers of Chaos. I’m delighted to see you all could make it." From the shadows, the source of the voice emerged, also wearing a cloak to conceal her body and features. Her hands were joined together, the sleeves of the robes far too large for her seemingly small body.
"Explain yourself, then." The raven-haired woman sneered, "We don't have all night."
"As you wish,” The rough cloth rushed around her ankles when she briskly got closer to everyone, ”there’s a group of supposed ‘heroes’ in Hallowton: Sazan, Michael, Sparda, Amoura, Miracle, Argus, Chloe, Zira and others.”
”Aw, yeeeah. I ‘eard of ‘em. They causin’ some bit of a ruckus?”
”No, my dear. You see…they are the source of all the universes tearing open and being destroyed by the leftovers of the Arashi. If they had not interfered with its plans then those rifts would probably have never happened.”
”My planet was destroyed by this entity. So the ones taking residence in Hallowton are responsible for this?”
The hooded woman nodded.
”Very well, we will listen to what you have to say. What are we going up against if we agree to help?”
”Sazan, the daugher of one who has now become a paradox, is a force to be reckoned with. The elements bend to her command, her fiancé, Michael, is ‘The Crow’—“
”WHAT?! ‘The Crow’?! We’re talkin’ vampire, right? That crow?!”
She nodded.
”Oh, I am so in!” Jadena slammed her curled fist into her palm and growled, bearing her sharp canines. Alora sighed and patted her shoulder to calm her down.
”Excellent. Sparda is the Legendary Dark Knight who vanquished Mundus at one point. Recently he has become a hybrid between vampire and demon. He’s not one to be trifled with. Miracle is a follower of Yahweh, power comes from her faith in her god that never wavers. Trust me when I say she is no weakling in comparison to the others. Chloe is a fresh vampiress but she’s gaining control over her abilities. Quickly at that. She has potential to become just as powerful as the rest.”
”This Amoura and Zira you spoke of have a strong relation to you, particularly the first. They are your main targets.”
The cloak and hood were torn asunder from an unknown force. Scaled, skeletal structured wings stretched out at their full length and curled against the woman’s back. Gold eyes glimmered maliciously beneath the moon and her full lips curled into a grin. The woman who had called them together was none other than the very same being who had haunted The Night Angel’s steps in the other realm she had been locked away in for twenty-five years and thwarted many of Zira’s attempts to stop the constant war of hell on earth.
Other in the flesh.
”Oh, more than you know, my dears. Both have crossed me for the last time.”
”Then we are in agreement. Shall we meet again to further discuss details on how to go about this?”
”It would be wise,” a faint glow pulsated from the two who had their hands joined ”it is because of these interlopers that the balance has shifted. The universes are merging. Beyond a veil, we cannot see. Our seventh sense has become blind to what may come to pass. We fear it may be oblivion.”
”That’s because we haven’t decided on what to do yet. We shall meet again. You have my curiosity peeked for the time being.”
”We shall reunite in five days’ time. Same location.”
Alora shrugged, ”Everyone, let’s go. We’re done for now.” Jadena followed behind Alora while the others went on separate paths. Only time will tell what may happen from here.
