In a single step a world of grayscale and reaped of life was torn away to make room for a realm splashed with color from the yellow rays of the sun, to the clear blue skies and mixed shade of green found in the fields. A single figure emerged from the Downward Spiral and flung it's body through the air, pushing it way through concrete steel of the tower's floors and swimming through the ground beneath, headlight eyes chasing off the darkness of it's assigned path as out from the tower came the black cybernetic body of the demon shark with the sexy Afro.
"I'M A SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK!"
He proclaimed, his belly sliding up against the grass, now outside the expanse as he swam around the fields of Genesis found between Isafaro and Hallowton, scaring away the native wildlife because of his presence.
"What's the matter? You ain't never seen a BLACK shark before? Bunch of no good lousy racists!"
Clash dived back into the ground and then popped back up just to dive back into the ground when he landed, a process he would repeat until finally sticking his head out of the ground and looking over to a brown squirrel up ahead. Excited at the idea of making a new friend the shark slowly snuck up on the squirrel before popping out of the ground suddenly, his big yellow headlights shinning down upon the now frightened squirrel.
"Hi! I just came from another universe wanna be friends?"
The squirrel dropped it nuts and ran away, sorrow overtook the shark's features as his headlights began to dim and he looked down to the ground. Turning around a second figure emerged now overshadowing the demon shark, his headlights looking up to a female clad in blue and black, brown eyes staring back down at his sending a cold chill or twenty through his sharky body. A glance cold enough to make a Crystal Expanse wherever it went. The woman finally spoke after a brief moment of silence between them.
"We aren't here to make friends. Find my daughter."
Clash nodded, not thinking twice about questioning or second guessing the woman that has escorted him to this strange new world. The black shark would dive back into the ground and make haste for Hallowton which was the last place Maya was reported at being before they lost contact with her. The woman clad in blue name was Maricul. A vampiress whose very presence was felt no matter the location. Taking a quick glance around the area the vampire took a single step forward, but as her right foot went up in the air it stopped, she pulled back and settled it on the grass where it was originally before slightly turning her head to look behind her shoulder.
"You didn't think I'd fall for that old trick again, did you?"

“Trick?”
The Blind Assassin stood twenty five feet behind The Seductress’ position, right hand brushed up against the hilt of her Katana, left hand placed to her pink overcoat. Bandage wrapped covered eyes aimed towards the target, being this close within striking distance of her prey always put her on edge. Steadily growing more and more excited as she could practically taste the blood of victim. Their last battle ended with no true climax, the intervention of The Arashi made certain of that. The verdict was still out on their rivalry. But she could activate her detonator right now and set off the claymore by her foot at any given second to reignite its spark and she had the nerve to call what she could do “tricks” after their last battle? The temptation to set it off and start round two was a strong one
“And here I thought you knew better.”

Maricul was fighting a very strong temptation all her own. The temptation to step onto the claymore and endure it's explosion simply to show the Blind Assassin that her most convenient weapon was no match against her anymore. The temptation to bite the grenade just for the chance to indulge herself in Fukari's blood, swim in it, bathe herself with it and even corrupt her devil's blood with her own. But like Fukari, Maricul fought it conceding that there were far more important matters to concern themselves with than which one could dominate the other, which she was confident would be her.
"Can't this wait? I've business to attend to."

“You mean the mess you’ve caused with The Joy.”
The Blind Assassin took a couple of slow steps, advancing on the vampire without a sound. Even to the highly sensitive hearing of a vampire her footwork would remain unnoticed. Had it not been for The Seductress’ eyes staying on her The Blind Assassin would have been in perfect position to grab her and bring a dagger up to her throat. She did wonder how the cold steel of her dagger blade would feel rubbed up against the smooth surface of Maricul’s throat. How the burning sensation from the blessing laid across the weapon would affect her skin as she shifted the knife to allow the sharp edge of the steel to press up against her, threatening to slit her and cause blood to ooze down the neck soon after from the open wound. How loudly would the vampiress scream if Fukari decided to dab a little holy water into the wound?
“It was a mistake sending her after The Night Angel. We don’t belong here. It’s not our world.”

"Fukari, you're drooling."
A smile curved the Seductress' lips as she turned to face the Blind Assassin, granting the half devil woman her full attention as she now ran an index and middle finger across her throat, taunting the fact that she couldn't see the object of her desire while she could.
"It's a shame you can't see it."
Maricul continued to provoke a reaction out of the Blind Assasin, sliding her spare hand down her curves and into her pockets wrapping it around the handle of the 9mm Blessing that waited for another chance to a sing a solo, or even duet with the likes of the 11mm Blessing, while in this world. Maricul would forgo drawing it for now, wanting the half devil to make the first move. The first mistake.
"My daughter was doing just fine until a certain shark came along and screwed things up for her. That's why I brought one of my own this time."

“Don’t flatter yourself,” replied Fukari wiping away the drool, “I was fantasizing about torture not sex. I suppose you don’t distinguish between the two….”
Hearing the movement of Maricul’s hand and tracking where it went The Blind Assassin response was to draw her blade and aim the sharp pointed tip of it at The Seductress to further intensity the standstill lingering between the two. Eagerly awaiting the vampiress ego to get the better of her.
“It must irritate you to know your family legacy was tarnished by a shark of all things.”

A chuckle escaped the Seductress' delicate lips as she was unphased by the Blind Assassin's attempt at insulting her. It wasn't her fault entirely, Maricul has been torn apart verbally by the best of them and there was nothing to say that hasn't already been said to the Seductress at one point or another.
"On the contrary I find it all quite fascinating. If I may be so bold as to offer you a piece of advice, stick to explosives. Trash talk has never been your strong point."

After The Seductress finished speaking and mere seconds before The Blind Assassin’s parted her lips, a distant explosion could be heard from behind the vampiress’ position soon followed by an outcry of the shark talking about how the white man is always keeping the little people down.
“Gladly.”

"Damn, white man! Always keeping the little people down."
Clash continued on his path swimming through the dirt, quickly recovering from the claymore he set off while his armor absorbed the rest of the damage. Maricul smile only grew wider until it became a grin stretching her delicate features, her face never meant to reach out in such a way on her small frame.
"Now you're bullying my shark? Getting a little desperate aren't we?"

“Your shark shouldn’t be so careless.”
With no more than fifteen feet left between the two warriors it was becoming increasingly harder not to draw first blood, to fight off the sadistic side that wanted to do battle but The Blind Assassin reminded her that all the worlds in all the universe shared a common goal and a common enemy. The only thing she should be concerned about is maintaining what little balance there is left between their worlds.
“I’ll be taking my leave now but I won’t wander far. If you should be foolish enough to harm the balance here in any way I won’t hesitate to restore it through your blood.”
With that The Blind Assassin was off, as silent as she ever was and soon, vanishing within plain sight to act as a spectator for the latest merging of worlds in the unveiling story of Maya daughter of Maricul.

Maricul watched Fukari off, purring to herself as she watched the Blind Assassin leave.
"Looking forward to it."
There were so many great and equally as terrible things in this reality. Men and women who wanted to indulge in pleasures that went beyond them and life-threatening beings that got the adrenaline pumping. How could she not want to get in the middle of it all? It was so rich and full of life compared to her own reality that she just wanted to take it all for her own.
"Let see what the world has in stored."
The Seductress began walking, following slowly behind that of Clash as the two now made their way to Hallowton.
The End
