Good; she could hear him, and she could respond. For some reason, Sparda had never dabbled in telepathy before his training with Amoura, and he found himself wondering why when it was already proving indispensible.
This vampire... He paused, almost against his will, and sighed inwardly at what he was about to tell the High Priestess. I won't be able to take her on my own.
Damn, humility was painful.
Find Sazan and Amoura and tell them what's going on. I'm gonna draw her back to Hallowton so we can fight her off together. Understood?
There began the foundation of his plan. It was risky, certainly, but trying to drive her back on his own clearly wasn't working too well. What choice did he have?
All the while, he had remained unmoving, gaze fixed on the nosferatu as if daring her to attack; then all of a sudden, the Dark Knight dropped off his platform and lunged at her. Rocketing down towards the vampiress, he bounced to and fro off smaller platforms of energy that materialised underfoot precisely when he needed them, then rushed straight at her with a vicious downward swipe of Revelation that sought to cleave off her cybernetic arm at the shoulder, just before the flesh ended and the metal began.
But he kept moving, regardless of whether or not his attack hit home. In fact, the demon set off at a run down the valley - back towards Hallowton. He slowed for only a moment, and even that was just so he could turn around on the fly and take aim with Ombra before squeezing the trigger and unleashing another howling blast of energy to further antagonise the vampiress.
He only hoped she took the bait...
Narrowing his eyes, the Dark Knight began his tactical retreat.
