The blade pierced her heart. Maricul gasped as her eyes went wide as she felt her body grow colder than usual. The vampiress’ life began to flash through her mind while looking up to the wielder of the Katana, The Blind Assassin. Memories of growing up under the thumb of a bastard father. Of growing close to her one and only sister before she turned on her completely. Of being attacked by a monster with red eyes and then left to die out in the cold, unforgiving, mud. Of getting up off her ass and fighting back against all those that bullied her, those that made her life a living hell. A survivalist, a monster, a seductress. Everything went numb as she took her last, fake, breath and her brown eyes rolled into the back of her head. “The Seductress” Maricul. Defeated once and for all.
CIKE!
The Blind Assassin would noticed that the body of “The Seductress” was gone. Vanished into nothingness yet her presence could be felt in the entire surrounding area, all the way up to the castle on the throne of the “Red Devil.” The temperature began to drop to minus zero and counting as the ground and building quickly froze over. The strength of the cold alone threatening to freeze the Half Breed to death where she stood before a devastating earthquake shook the land. Buildings collapsed on their very foundation and even the castle walls of Ranko fell as the skies became pure darkness with the storm clouds that appeared. Thunder clashed and lighting struck the ground by Fukari’s feet as Maricul reappeared thirty feet away from The Blind Assassin. Not as the vampire that became famous in the world. Her usual attire have been replaced by black robes, her raven black hair now wrapped around her body, brown eyes turned pitch black as a matching black witch hat now sat on top of her head. Feet were bare and pale white, her body didn’t even seem affected by the destructive earthquake underneath her feet. An earthquake destroying the surrounding structures having no power over her.
It was like she was one with nature.
Maricul outstretched her hand to the heavens and grabbed the lighting that traveled through the night air. Wielding it in her hand like the Greek god Zeus she aimed it at the Half Breed. Rain began to pour down hard on the scene quickly turning into hail the size of golf balls, crashing against The Blind Assassin as the strangest case of weather in history was being created within the likes of Jherrazad. To make matters worse even gravity was crafted into a weapon against Fukari, increasing to bound her to the ground so she could’t move.
“This isn’t Bellum Abyssus, woman. Things have changed.”
Maricul knew that Fukari would have no idea what she was talking about. It was another world entirely after all. But that didn’t matter. What mattered was this battle was about to come to a very abrupt end. The woman fought well but this time “The Witch Within” would prevail and walk away the victor. In one motion Maricul had cast the lighting with enough destructive force to completely obliterate Fukari and the ground underneath her feet.
Was it all over?

This was it.
The battle was won.
But at the same time a wave of relief came over The Blind Assassin was when the chill in Jherrazad dropped down to an ungoldly coldness. Fukari had no choice but to resheath the katana and hug herself for warmth as the area froze over. It was all so sudden, it was like a powerful winter came out of nowhere to unleash it's wrath against all the unfortunate souls that happened to be at Jherrazad at the time. Never before has Fukari endured such a challenging climate in her life.
Then came the earthquake.
The Blind Assassin could hear the surrounding buildings falling on themselves as the ground ripped up, it was a war just to remain safe as a powerful force of nature seem hell bent on destroying The Blind Assassin and everything around her. What power could possibly be strong enough to wield mother nature herself? Or was this just the motherload of bad luck? The booming sound of thunder now rumbled against Fukari's eardrums as she was about taken down by a bolt of lighting that struck the land near her. Fukari fell to the ground as it continued to shake and that was when the source of all this shocking power made an appearance.
Maricul.
Fukari didn't have to see Maricul to know that there was something immensely different about the woman. The show of power over nature was more than enough to tell The Blind Assassin that perhaps she had bitten off a little more than she could chew. Never before has Fukari witnessed a being of such absolute power. For the first time in her life The Blind Assassin showed fear in the eyes of her opponent but there was no time to allow fear to take her over completely. Her life was literally on the line and every split second counted to her very survival. As if the harsh weather conditions wasn't enough Fukari felt her feet being sealed to the ground. Everything around her body tightened and felt nearly unbearable as now even gravity itself was trying to unravel what little chances of survival she had left alongside the hail that's came down to smite her.
That when the lighting came.
Using all of her demonic strength and will power Fukari managed a brief victory over the very gravity that wanted to claim her life as she was able to lunge forward and escape the blast that otherwise would have obliterated her. The ground behind her was not so fortunate as it began to cave unto itself. It took all of her might just to crawl away quickly to avoid the gaping hole which was now all that remained of the ground behind her after such a demonstration.
No. No! No! No!
Fukari slowly brought herself back up to her feet.
I can't die here. I refuse to die here!
The Blind Assassin redrew her blade and held it tightly in her hands as she continued to brave through the death grip of gravity in order to stand before her opponent, before Maricul, with her head held high.

The destructive force behind that last attack left a crater so deep that you could not see the bottom. The Witch watched as her enemy struggled to make it through the battlefield that has been molded and bent to the favor of Maricul. It was the complete opposite of their previous encounter in a different world where Maricul was on the defensive throughout most of the fight because of Fukari power, skill and her ability to set the field up against her opponent. A wicket smile graced the pale lips of the Vampire Witch as her black eyes looked the Half Breed over.
“You still have some fight left in you I see.”
With a single thought The Blind Assassin would have a powerful blizzard inflicted upon her on top of everything else that was being used as a weapon against her. Maricul wanted to see how much longer she could last before begging The Witch for mercy. The hold of gravity let up on The Blind Assassin as now the awesome power of the blizzard threatened not only to freeze her in an ice solid prison but push her straight down the bottomless crater.

The Blind Assassin stabbed her sword into the ground and held it in place as she stood her ground in the face of the terrifying blizzard. A very important fact erupted into Fukari's mind as she hung on for dear life. The gravity seal on her body was released and she could now travel across the frozen ground easier than before. This detail felt so unimportant and minor that it appeared not even the wielder of nature realized what she has done. Fukari was granted more mobility.
Nothing was impossible anymore, Maricul has raised the bar on impossibility so it was time to up the stakes. Fukari tapped further into her demonic powers as now she charged directly into the blizzard like a mad woman but her sanity was still very much in tact. She now went on to use the thick blizzard as a disguise so the vampiress would be unable to track her movements with her eyes, thanks to her own blizzard no less. There were just a matter of two other senses to blind of Maricul's.
Hearing and smell.
Fukari drew a detonator from her jacket. The traps she laid out were very much still in place she has just lacked the time and ability to trigger them. The Blind Assassin could only hope that the field has not disabled them entirely. She pressed her finger on the button and then the ground underneath Maricul exploded. Ice shards from the frozen ground along with hot searing silver spikes pierced Maricul's body from underneath as the sound from the explosion and the surrounding smoke was enough to blind the other senses.
There were no warning as the ungoldly amount of powerful slashes from the katana came to slice and dice until nothing was left.

The ice shards didn’t even scratch the surface of Maricul’s skin, which has hardened to such an extent it acted like body armor. The silver spikes didn’t have much luck either as while they made contact with the skin, and irritated Maricul they was not strong enough to melt through her endurance. But Maricul knew that neither of these strikes were meant to cause death. They were meant for one purpose only. To blind her senses. Ignorance was bliss except in this case where ignorance would unravel The Blind Assassin’s plans.
Maricul senses were able to reach pass the limitations of man. She was able to see right through the guise cast by her own blizzard and through the core of Fukari, into her very soul. Her hearing broke through the barriers of the explosion and could still hear the fast approaching footsteps of the Half Breed. Her nose breaking through the smell of smoke to inhale her very scent. Maricul saw all too clearly what was going on all around her, a third eye which allowed her to examine her surroundings without even having to turn her head. When Fukari finally cut the gap between them Maricul held up her hand and when the Katana came within a few inches of it, the blade froze. And then it shattered. Shattered along with the last shards of hope for victory.
The pieces fell to the ground by Maricul bare feet and now she grabbed Fukari into her clenches, pulling back on her head and exposing the neck area before opening her mouth. Razor sharp fangs of a true Nosferatu were made bare as the vampiress came down upon her neck and bit down, beginning the process of drinking the sweet, sweet warm liquid of The Blind Assassin’s blood.

Fukari could hear the shards of her blade falling to the ground and with the sound of them clashing against the ice the border between master and animal were starting to blur. She could feel the hands of the Witch tightening around her as the sound of her mouth opening became all too clear.
It would be her undoing.
Fukari slammed a silver grenade into her mouth and snapped off the pen, following that The Blind Assassin kicked her right in the jaw causing Maricul to bite down on the grenade as soon as it exploded. The vampire was about to transcend to an all, silver, diet.
And holy shit became her reality.

The battlefield was like a game of chess. Every move you made created an opening. You could lay traps down for the enemy but you always had to sacrifice something along the way. This battle was no different from all the others in the universe. Every time either Maricul or Fukari thought they had the match won the other would do something to catch them off guard. Even Maricul, with her third sight and god-like abilities granted down to her by the Witch Within was unable to foresee the silver grenade being shoved into her mouth and her teeth forced to bite down on its surface.
She barely had enough time to react, her eyes going so wide they threatened to pop out of their very sockets before her entire body was blown to bits and a cloud of silver hovered above over the remains of Maricul and where the Half Breed stood. Was it finally over? Had the Creator smiled down upon Fukari on this day? The sweet taste of victory would become sour in the mouth of the would-be victor as a faint, but very much present, evil laugh echoed throughout the air of what remained of Jherrazad. “The Seductress” was not yet dead.
The surrounding ice that now carried an impressive amount of water within them began to crack. Water came forth from the cracks and without much time to process what was going on the ice broke away completely and a massive flood burst from the ice, water from every which direction traveling fast enough and with enough strength to shatter buildings, if there were any left, headed towards the position of The Blind Assassin threatening to wash her away from the face of the earth.

Anyone else would have lost their will to go on by this point in time. No one could open their mouth, flap their lips and say that Fukari hasn't given it her all in this battle. As the water surrounded her it looked and felt like this battle was finally drawing to it's grand finale. That there was no more fight left in The Blind Assassin and that she was finally going to rest in peace.
Wrong.
The trademark bandages that you could always find on her face fell from their place, fire now burning brightly in the blind eyes of Fukari as the hold her human half had over her mind was weakening, finally allowing for the demon to take over. Her human skin shattered, unveiling the dark purple skin tone of her devil form for the first time since her birth. The brown hair on her head grew out pass her shoulder blades and from the back wings grew out, fire surrounded her body just as the flood came to take her and like a Phoenix....
She burst from the flood and soared through the sky!
The flood was left behind to claim the nation of the Red Devil as Fukari continued to fly through the air and break the sound barrier as she traveled. As she left Fukari knew one thing for certain.
This battle was far from over.
To Be Continued!
