"Don't we have anything better to do than scout for more demons? I wanna go shooooooopping!" Elizabeth dangled her legs over an edifice and brushed her slender, manicured digits over her pleated skirt to keep the material smoothed out, "Or check out that new Chanel perfume! Did you know they made a promotion of it? It smells so ni—"
"Liz, enough. You know we don't do this often," Rowen hefted up his bone claymore and swung it around to get himself warmed up for any fights that may begin tonight. Beside him was a recently deceased demon that had been carelessly discarded outside the city and the venomous properties of its now coagulated blood may prove useful. Liz was appaled and inched away out of fear of her new outfit possibly getting soiled. Rowen took note of this, rolled his auburn eyes and lowered his blade, "Anything, Jenna?"
"Yes," Jenna acknowledged Rowen by nodding at him, "something just teleported into town just down the street. Something about it is...familiar."
Elizabeth and Rowen both gave the demoness a quizzical look but Rowen was first to beat Liz to the question, "You mean this may be the source?" Liz stuck her tongue out at Rowen, folded her arms and pouted.
"Yes. Liz, cease your childish behaviors and take us there."
"You ruin my manicure, you die." It was directed to Rowen just as all three joined hands and began the search.

The portal behind Amoura closed and dissipated in a puff of smoke just as she walked out of an alley close to the hat shop. There was nothing of interest happening in Moon Valley nor any other locations that could clue her into the prophecies and of her inevitable fate with the Arashi. That wasn't the only topic of interest she had been seeking answers to—she was also trying to find her sire but even this search proved fruitless. The Night Angel was finding more dead ends than results.
The sight of three juveniles landing just fifteen feet from her chased away the frustration of failure. Who were they? Sparda had mentioned a group of children trying to assist in taking down the demons and they mistook him for their leader. Her Third Eye opened and went for a quick scan of their auras to give an idea of what they could be. What she saw took her completely by surprise: their auras had images of seals in the likeness of the pentagram circulating around them. Were they...created? The one that raised the most suspicion in her was the vampiress. Why did she look so much like herself?
"Can I help you?" Amoura's eye closed and sank into her skin.

"Eeeewwwww! That eye is disgusting! Put it away! Ew! Ew! Ew! Liz backed away, hugging her gun to her body and stuck her tongue out in disgust. Jenna and Rowen simultaneously turned to give Elizabeth an "Oh, for fuck's sake; grow up" then went to answer the woman's question.
"Jenna here says you are familiar in some way. We're not sure if we've seen you around here before." The necromancer frowned and nudged Jenna to explain herself. Elizabeth was still cowering away and Rowen snapped his fingers to change this. Behind her, the undead demon let out a feeble roar.
"AAAAAAAAAAH! Get it away! Get it away!" The vampiress dropped her gun, ran to Rowen, and jumped into his arms. "It's gonna eat me! I just know it! You're gonna make it ruin my outfit aren't you?!" Rowen just extended his arms and dropped Elizabeth onto her arse without a care in the world.
"Anyways.Connection. Somehow I feel one with you. You saw something with that eye of yours; you really should work on disguising your expressions better. What was it?"
Rowen and Elizabeth blinked at Jenna's rarely seen boldness.

"Your auras have the image of a seal only used to get rid of powers and place them elsewhere." Had she created life without meaning to? Surely the powers she disposed of didn't gain physical form, soul and the rest of the package. The Night Angel knew there was only one way to find out for sure if they were hers. Naturally her thoughts drifted to the word "children" and was immediately pushed aside.
Amoura extended her left hand, faced the palm at The Lost and an image of the seal inked over her skin, pulsed repeatedly and took on a maroon glow. Patiently, she waited to see the results.

Jenna rolled back the sleeve of her left arm and stared down at a flame-wreathed pentagram with an air of fascination. While the Fire Dragon was quieter about her observations, Elizabeth had always proven to be the exact opposite.
The vampiress was unbuttoning her shirt, pulled the cloth back and the pentagram was just above her breasts. It was black and small, wisped tendrils were emitting. "Aw, man! I look like some gothic freak! This comes off, right? Ooooh! Jenna's looks awesome! Hey, Rowen lemme see yours!"
The necromancer gestured with his head at his exposed shoulder. Again, the pentagram, but it was violet with no "special affects" like everyone else's. "Haha! Yours is so plain!" Elizabeth taunted him and Rowen immediately responded by punching her in the face. The act was so sudden and unexpected for Elizabeth. Nothing was broken or bruised.
So, at long last, the person who had brought The Lost into existence was found and all three stared at Amoura. What should be done now?

It's just as she feared. Amoura watched The Lost stare at their seals, then finally back at her. What was she going to do with them? She curled her fingers into her palm and absentmindedly chewed on her lip while trying to answer the many questions buzzing in her head. They had the power she had tried to get rid of and it should be retrieved. But that could kill these kids who knew nothing of their fate and only just met their "mother". Did they even deserve such a fate?
That didn't matter to her. The power was hers and she was going to take it back regardless of the creation. She killed millions already; what difference would it make if three more die?
Amoura's fingers moved in a sporadic pattern, tapping repeatedly at different portions of the pentagram on her palm. The powers sealed in their bodies will be released and return to her.

In unison, light shot from their seals and swirled around Amoura. Elizabeth screamed and fell against Rowen who was equally shocked at what was going on. Jenna calmly stood there and watched everything flow from her body: her power, her being, her everything. While the vampiress continued screaming, not wanting to die, Rowen draped his arms around her, closed his eyes and also felt himself growing weaker with each passing second. Fighting back was impossible with so much draining out of their bodies at this rate. Jenna was the first to resign to this fate.
"Our journey ends here tonight, Lost." Jenna closed her eyes, her body began to fall apart and before she became ash, she whispered, "We're going home."
Rowen continued to hold Elizabeth as she also faded away. The last of the Lost said nothing and Rowen closed his eyes before his corporeal form collapsed away.

With the release of the living, breathing seals the powers she had tried to dispose of rejoined with Amoura. The different colored lights dove into the pentagram in her palm and the process of absorption began. It was painful, to say the least, and she had to hold her arm up to help keep her mind off it. Fortunately that didn't take long but the worst wasn't over yet. Different feelings washed over her at once, almost at an uncontrollable rate.
Her bones felt like they were on fire, her senses sharpened to an unbearable level, her temperature was fluctuating, her mind was in chaos from new memories and sensations she hadn't felt before. With gritted teeth, she managed to get herself out of the city through teleportation, a power she retrieved from Jenna and stumbled around the outskirts.
It wasn't a good idea to take all of that power back that quickly and in such a brash manner at that. What drove her to do it was beyond her understanding for the time being. First priority was to get these new powers under control before she can return to the city.
