Maricul was impressed. Even after learning what she was, what she could do and the limits to it, Miracle didn’t back down. Truly believing that if her strength failed to stop her that Yahweh’s strength would. A foolish notion but Maricul could respect anyone with the courage to defy the strength of ten thousand men. It was after all something she herself was now infamous for. Maricul could see why Lord Yahweh took such pleasure from her prayers and took pride in this creation, she was certainly one of his more competent warriors despite only being a twelve year old girl in the end. Maricul slowly backed away and just smiled down approvingly towards the child.
“The time is not yet right for us to do battle. I will depart without a fight.”
The Seductress waved goodbye and then blew her a kiss before vanishing into thin air. The darkness that was present within the temple faded away and the beautiful crystal walls were able to shine through again as Miracle would feel a wave of relief wash over her now that the presence of The Paradox was no longer among her.

Miracle was expecting a brawl to break out right here in the temple, something the High Priestess feared she would have to do against Maricul since their first encounter, but much to Miracle's surprise Maricul chose to back down. Claiming the time was not yet right for them to do battle. Maricul was a lot of things but "coward" was not one of them so such a claim sent a slight chill down her spine, making her wonder just when exactly was the right "time" for them to finally do battle.
No point in worrying about it now.
Miracle turned around to face the altar once again, going down on her hands and knees to resume praying. Maricul was just one of many threats that loomed over the world of Genesis, and Miracle knew that things could only grow worse before they finally have the chance to get better but she held onto her faith. Believing that with Yahweh's power and mercy they would not fail.
They could not fail.
