No good she couldn't control it. A powerful release of holy energy erupted from Miracle's body to the face and torso area of Maricul, it was strong enough to force Maricul back to create distance and burn through skin while acting as an automatic defense mechanism when unholy creatures got too close for comfort. It was one of many reasons why Miracle didn't want to get too close to the vampire.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!"
Miracle ran up to Maricul to see what kind of the damage she has caused.

Maricul was blinded by the bright light that radiated off the holy energy that forced her back. She could feel the hot burning pain that came from the energy coming in contact with her skin as it burnt straight through her clothes. The right half of her face and hair was entirely burnt off as a ruined trench coat fell down to the ground and her clothes were badly burned alongside her face. The child was successful in forcing pass the nearly indestructible body of the vampiress and causing enough damage to slow her regeneration down. Even through all this pain though Maricul managed to keep a smile on her face, acting as if she didn’t just get disfigured.
“Not bad.”
Maricul started off repairing the easiest things she possessed, her clothes. With a simple wave of the hand her clothes were fixed and she placed her trench coat back on. A few moments after that her hair grew back and the side of her face that was completely burnt off regenerated and “The Seductress” looked as good as new.
“It’s been a while. I almost forgot what true pain felt like. Thank you.”

Miracle was surprised by two things. The first thing being that this woman was able to regenerate so quickly when anyone else would have never fully recover such a blast, even if it only was a small example of her holy powers. The second was hearing Maricul thank her for inflicting such damage against her in the first place. Miracle knew she was powerful but never thought she could be "that" powerful.
"Please don't thank me, Maricul. I never meant to inflict such pain upon you it's just when those of your kind get too close that defense goes off without much warning. Are you sure you're all right?"

“You worry too much, midear.”
It didn’t show on her face, as Maricul was a mistress at deception, but deep down inside she was wondering why there couldn’t have been more people like Miracle in this village back when she was younger. Maybe things would’ve been different. Maybe she never would have became a monster in the first place and lived a happy mortal life, instead of a fake one under the alias of Luca Valentine. No, there was no time to go feeling sorry for herself. Maricul walked on by Miracle and returned to the gap inbetween the many set of pews.
“And about creatures that should matter not to you. Not a very good trait for a leader.”

Maricul didn't have to show it on her face but Miracle could tell that something was wrong. She didn't know what exactly but going off what she knew of the vampiress the High Priestess could make a few guesses as to what. At the very least Miracle was ok on the outside.
"You address yourself as a "creature" but all I see is a lost soul in need of guidance."
It was very strange to think that this was the same woman who tore this village to the ground. When Miracle looked at her she saw such innocence in her eyes, the kind of innocence that was far from being a monster. Then she remembered what her father said. "The worst of all monsters will draw you close to them through beauty and not scare you away with terror." That what he said. Could the same be said about Maricul?
"Should you change your mind about staying here let me know and I'll prepare a place for you."

“I address myself as a creature because that is what I am; a creature, a monster, a vampire, a damned soul, a blood-sucking fiend that lays waste wherever she goes. I am neither proud nor ashamed of what I am. I am what I am.”
Maricul’s tone along with her facial features was the same as her affiliation, neutral. Neither positive nor negative feelings could be detected in her voice or seen in her eyes as she spoke like someone stating objective facts more than anything. This child was in need of a lecture after all.
“I am not proud because it’s foolish to take pride in things you didn’t choose. I am not ashamed because this curse, and the one who cast it down upon me, has made me all the more stronger. Invite me into this place and I will seduce your men, I will make them denounce your god at the altar and drink from their blood and you will be personally responsible for allowing a monster into your home.”

"I see...."
A wave of sadness washed over Miracle as she looked over to the vampiress. Why did it have to be this way? She offered friendship and all she got in return was lectures on how much of a monster she was. Though the more Maricul's words repeated in her mind the more Miracle started to wonder something about the female in front of her.
"Maricul....is it really me you're trying to convince? Or are you....?"

Maricul only shook her head at the young priestess.
“It isn’t a matter of convincing but a recommendation.”
Maricul turned around and headed towards the exit of the temple.
“Be careful who you invite into your house with open arms, particularly now that various dimensions are coming together. When I have more relevant information on the situation I will return.”
And with that Maricul left the holy temple and proceeded to make her way out of the village. She has stayed here much too long. It was time to get away from the painful memories and go back to what she did best. Destruction. Only this time the targets would be those threatening the grand design. FIN!
