Maricul was unable to continue what she had began with Zira so she called upon Luca Valentine to take her place. Unlike Maricul the Luca Valentine persona fed off the emotional aspects of the task at hand instead of just the physical. Her touch grew more gentle, kisses more intimate and when pleasure washed over them both Luca stayed and snuggled up next to Zira, sleeping the rest of the night away. Yes. Luca was possible of far more love than Maricul ever thought imaginable, yet they were the same person.
Morning came and the suns smiled over Utopia in their bright burning rays of light as Luca was the first one awake, sat up on their side of the bed stroking Zira’s cheek lovingly with the back of their hand. Maricul would view this as a conquest, her greatest conquest to date, but Luca saw it as the beginning of something special. Either way they both wanted to be a part of Zira’s life. To be the first one she thought about in the morning and the last thing she thought about at night. Little did they realize how much more like Yahweh they were becoming in each waking moment. But in their mind they were superior, far superior than Yahweh and the other gods. And in a way. They were correct. Luca smiled over their lover and continued to stroke her cheek until the moment she would awaken.

Zira Firestone was too far gone to notice Maricul changed appearance but she definitely felt the change in style. Things went from fast and dominating to slow and gentle. The lust leaking from the Seductress' body started to fade away and was soon replaced with a feeling of actual affection, as if they've been long-term lovers instead of just two women having a fling with one another. Those kisses along her body grew more addictive when she felt the growing intimacy behind them. How can someone so rough and lust driven be so tender and loving all at the same time? The Firebird wouldn't have time to think of it as their act of pleasure with one another finally reach it's conclusion and they were both left satisfied in the end.
When morning came Zira could feel a warm hand stroking her cheek gently where she laid. A small ray of light bled through the bleachers and reached her eyes causing Zira to raise an arm up over them. The Firebird finally came to, making some annoyed noises that hinted at not wanting to get up much like a child being told by their mother that it was time for school. Once Zira's eyes opened and their focus came back fully she would realize that the woman next to her wasn't Maricul at all but someone entirely different. Panic ensued as Zira quickly got up out of the bed and grabbed the covers, yanking them and wrapping as much of it around her body as she could to hide her shame.
"Who are you!? What are you doing here!? Where's Maricul!?

“We see you’re hogging the covers again.”
Luca placed a hand over their mouth and giggled into it before standing up from the bed. They grabbed a gold robe out from the nearby closet of the bedroom and put it on to cover themselves, tying it up tightly before turning back around to face Zira.
“Maricul stands before you. It is complicated, let just say when Maricul is unable, we are.”
That was the best way they could explain it to a lower class being. Before Luca was just a result of shapeshifting but after the battle with The Arashi Aper even Luca Valentine evolved beyond that of their original intent. When it came to their connection it was so much more now than just shapeshifting. So much more.
“You may call us Luca Valentine. You must be hungry. What would you like to eat? We can have breakfast ready for us as soon as you’d like.”

We? What the hell? Zira looked at her funny and when Luca got dressed and answered her question Zira stood there dumbfounded at what she was hearing.
"Wh-what? Y-you're Maricul?"
The Firebird shook her head. This had to be some trick, yet another clever illusion by the vampire that took advantage of so many people back in Mortis. Zira may have submitted to the seduction but she wouldn't submit to sheer stupidity.
"Enough with the mind games, Maricul and stop referring to yourself as "we!" Either stand before me as you truly are or I leave now. Also if you tell anyone, ANYONE at all about what happened here I will kill you! Do you understand me!? I. Will. KILL YOU!"

Luca’s eyes saddened and a frown grew on her lips as she looked genuinely hurt by the words of The Firebird. As if Zira just ripped into her chest and pulled out her heart before stomping on it right in front of her. Though at the same time she couldn’t blame her with the reputation Maricul earned herself in every world that harbored her existence.
“Our apologies we thought because of your status you would not mind our original form of speech. We will now refer to ourselves in the first person.”
Luca began to approach Zira’s position in the room, slowly as to not cause any further violent reactions from the woman. The last thing she wanted to do was upset her further.
“You have nothing to worry about, my dear Zira. I will not tell another living soul of what has transpired here. What happened behind closed doors between you and me is no one else’s business but our own.”
Luca smiled and then gently placed her hands on The Firebird’s cheeks trying to comfort her as she did the previous night.
“And you have nothing to be ashamed of. I tell you the truth, you mean more to me than just a random fling or a conquest to brag about. Won’t you stay for breakfast at least so we can talk things over?”

Confusion was the understatement of the century right now. The Firebird had no idea what to make of Maricul/Luca Valentine's motives. By instinct alone Zira didn't trust the woman for just having the name Maricul on her but the way her eyes saddened and how she touched her, in more ways than one, it just made the Firebird second guess herself and that was alarming for any warrior. She took a step back away from Luca to get out of her touch, keeping the covers around her as they were the only things shielding her naked body and shame from the other woman. Not knowing what else to do Zira would at least take advantage of her hospitality.
"I want a steak medium rare but first, a shower."
The Firebird knew she needed to get the smell of Maricul/Luca Valentine off of her before heading back to Hallowton where her sister was. A lecture was all she needed right now.

Luca smiled grew even more sweetly to Zira, glad she had decided to stick around for a little while more so they could discuss a couple of things. Thankfully she had a private dinning room that the two of them could eat at so they wouldn’t be disturbed by the many people inside her house.
“Not exactly breakfast material but I will inform the chef that is what you want. The bath is right across the hall from here.”
Luca headed for the door and wrapped her hand around the knob but right before pulling it open she turned her head back to Zira once more.
“Feel free to use my closet as you see fit.”
Luca then opened the door and closed it behind her giving Zira Firestone her privacy.
