Three months, three months since he arrived back from Argil, he traveled with his grandfather through the downward spiral but only ended up right back in the wreckage that was Domino City. Sitting in his apartment he began to try and reestablish some of his contacts, but only a few still remained, and those that did were mostly in the demon world.
One of those demons appeared through a portal in his room, The hybrid's eyes trailing over to the thing, "Carnefax, what do you have?" He spoke coldly, almost detached as his eyes trailed back over to the decrepit and rotten corpse of a town he once called home. "Do you remember the shackled lord?" Daikus only nodded, "What about him?" He spoke as if he little interest but he knew the threat he posed, "Well... he has returned and is beginning to remake the world, starting with the demon world." The hybrid stood from his position, his long white hair flying over his shoulder as his gray eyes looked upon Carnefax, "I thought that would get your attention..." The words slithered from the lesser demon's maw.
"There is a way for you to stop him however not in your current state of power..." As Carnefax spoke Daikus knew that whatever was going to happen he wouldn't like, the 65 caliber Apathy was drawn and pointed at the demon. "Choose your next words carefully..." The demon took in a slow breath, "Think of it this way... by going on this endeavor you can not only stop Amon but also ascend, it must be lonely here, all by yourself with all of your comrades in the other world while you are cursed to stay here..."
Daikus finger began to slowly squeeze against the trigger. "Wait, listen, by doing this you could easily go fourth into that other realm and join those you wish to be with." The offer sounded so tempting, and Daikus was beginning to become so withdrawn, it was as if he was maroon on an island, no real life to talk to, no one around or anything... just a barren, empty world.
"What..." He lowered the gun, "Do I do...?" Carnefax smiled a bit knowing he had won. "Well..." He began, his voice dripping with venom, "Do you remember how Mundus was killed by your father and Uncle?" Daikus nodded, "Well his corpse was left somewhere in Naya." Daikus put his hand up, "I understand." He cut the demon off and walked out of the room, suited up, and ready he called Carnefax to open a portal and arrived in Naya.
-------------------------
It seemed not even the demon world could escape the cold grip of devastation, and Naya was no exception, it took what seemed to be hours by finally he came across it, the corpse of the fallen prince of darkness Mundus as it leaked out it's aura like a plague across the land. At first he didn't have a clue how to absorb the power but soon his Nosferatu side began to kick in, it was hard to explain, but the ex ruler's aura began to rise from the corpse like smoke and trail into Daikus body, raising it into the air and curling through him, sending him into shocks of pain powerful enough to contort and make him cry out.
Flashes of memories coursed through his mind of being stricken from the heavens, crashing into the demon world, finding his Grandfather, working with him to become the absolute ruler before conquering the human world, every memory that Mundus ever had, even striking and sealing away the most powerful demons that came to be known as the Council of Legion. With each memory came a power surge so strong that it almost felt as if his body was being torn apart.
Finally everything ended with a flash a big release of power that wiped out all of Naya Mundus' corpse disintegrating as Daikus' body fell to the ground, he pushed himself up, three red pulsing dots glowing on his forehead connected by pale red lightning before it faded away. Daikus' own aura begining to pulse before calming down. Carnefax slowly strode up clapping and almost giddy. "This is AMAZING! I didn't think the Prince of Darkness' power would bond so well considering the kind of bloodline you carry..."
"You were expecting something different?" Daikus stood, a low pale gleam of Teal coloration in his eyes. Carnefax shook his head, "No, not at all... I'm more surprised that it wasn't enough..." Daikus stared daggers into the lesser demon, "Not enough?" The air around his left fist began to become displaced, the tri-dot of energy returning as his hand caught fire of a teal color. Carnefax flinched, "My apologies, Perhaps absorbing the remaining soul shards of the Council of Legion will be enough to help draw out and kill Amon."
Daikus paused for a moment... "Amon is no longer my concern." Carnefax looked up at Daikus sputtering, "You! You said you'd, if he comes back we're all screwed! You said you would kill him!" Daikus starred into the palm of his hand for a moment before looking back up to Carnefax, "Oh I know what I said..."
Suddenly, as if materialized from no where, cackling spikes of raw demonic energy pierced through the lesser demon from different angles pinning him there, "You bastard!" The lesser demon coughed out with some blood. "You betrayed us all, just like your father and his father before! You worthless Judas!" "Silence." As the command was spoke there was a flash of blinding light as a screech as Carnefax was slowly erased atom by atom as the energy within the crimson spikes were released into a huge column of white energy before it faded.
"Time to go hunting..." The dots faded once again as Daikus began to walk off going to the next layer, Layer by layer Daikus scoured them finding each crystal which stood as the prisons for their soul remnants. First Validus, an emerald crystal followed by a turquoise one which held Tajna Rasha. Afterward he came across a silver crystal that contained Dranex's soul and before long he came across the ruby crystal which imprisoned Tozuko. Using his newly gifted power he took each of the Crystals and fused them together into one big transparent jewel which within it danced the aura colors which represented each of the council members.
"Just one more left." This one would be the most dangerous but at the same time what did he care? If it blew up everything then so fucking be it. He smiled as he headed towards the old castle in which the final battle took place, Mahja Velo. The castle was barren empty but the darkness within was thick and heavy almost choking, Daikus knew that if he had come here before he would have never had made it as deep within the cathedral as he had. Before him within a large crater rested a black crystal, the last piece to complete the Jewel within his hand. The soul prison of the Veran Remnant that had fed off of his father's essence. He walked up to it, plucking it from the ground and joining it with the mass. A heavy and almost choking wind swirled around him as the colors fused together into a solid core of black and purple.
"You can stop right there now." The voice brought a smile to Daikus' lips as he turned around to see Amon standing there. "I have no clue as to who you are but, I appreciate you going through all that trouble for me, creating the ultimate power."
Daikus placed a hand on his hip, his teal tinted eyes watching with little enthusiasm. "But now I'm afraid I'll be taking that power for my self." Amon outstretched his hand, releasing a massive cache of destructive energy all condensed into a single slash, Daikus simply placed his hand out, stopping it with the palm of his hand and dissipating the energy. "So it is true... The Abyss are far weaker in this world..." Amon scowled, "You insolent brat!" the ex shackled lord let loose massive waves of destructive force, all of which Daikus didn't even bother to care about. "You're beginning to become bothersome... begone." As those words were spoken, The dots reappeared and a crushing wave of energy flowed fourth before an explosion of white light erupted from Amon, tearing him to shreds from the inside out.
"Now..." He began looking down at the jewel as it began to shift and crack before shattering to reveal the blue and black core. Without a second's thought he pressed it into his chest, black flames leaking from Daikus' chest as the core began to fuse with his soul. His body began to tremble and lift up, Daikus roaring out in pain as the different auras separated from his body and swirled around him, passing through him as his body began to slowly disintegrate light burning from his eyes and mouth as he cried out in pain the auras passing through and around him began moving faster and faster before finally fusing into one energy, one essence and aura and shot into the evaporating Daikus.
He let out a loud cackle as the entire throne room began to be surrounded by blinding light, his body reforming before it dissipated in a large scale explosion that sent pure destructive force more powerful than ten thousand nuclear devices going off, the wave completely atomizing each layer of the Demon realm before finally carving it's way to the human realm as the entire world Daikus known as home was completely erased from existence, a phenomenon that would alert any connected to that world, or any of a higher level as all life that was left in that dimension all vanished.
-------------------------------------------
From light to darkness and soon the darkness faded and Daikus stood in the midst of a world unlike any other, Above him was another world connected by the Downward Spiral. "Utopia..." He spoke as he realized what he had just done... he had become transcended, well... there was only one thing left to do... have some fun. "It won't be called that for long." Daikus' eyes began to glow a teal color as the three red dots connected by electricity cackled and pulsed, A slime crossed his lips.
