Personality: Vlad is a socially awkward and sarcastic teenager. However, he is still a caring person, as well as a loyal friend. Despite most vampires, Vlad usually constrains himself, however he will occasionally give into his vampire ways. He has a sick sense of humor. While he is around others he cares about, he is very sweet and loyal. He tends to hang around goths more than normal people, however he still hangs with normal people.
Special Abilities: Being half a vampire, he has the basic vampire abilities. These abilities include telepathy with his vampire kin he has strong bonds with and his drudges. He can hover slowly, but not fly. He has both super speed and super strength compared to all vampires. He has the ability to control minds. He is an expert tracker, as well as he has the ability to make glyphs. His last ability is that if he eats some human's blood that is not a drudge, they become his drudge.(Drudges are the eternal servant of the vampire) As the pravus, all his vampire skills are heighten. He does have invulnerability, but not immortality. All his senses are heighten and if he touches his Elysian mark on his arm his eyes glow purple. He has the ability to control people with his voice, however this greatly strains him.

History:
Vlad was born to Tomas Tod, a vampire, and Mellina Tod, a human. He was the first and only vampire to be born, making him the Pravus. However, he did not know this, and he lived a relatively normal life for a vampire. Nelly, Mellina's friend, worked as a nurse and she stole blood from the blood bank that were about to expire to feed Vlad. His friend Henry did not learn about Vlad being a vampire until Vlad accidentally flashed his fangs to him. Henry insisted that Vlad bite him, and Vlad did, making Henry Vlad's first drudge. When he was 10, he let his parents sleep in. When he returned home, the house was destroyed and his parents were killed. He began to live with Nelly after the fire.
8th grade year: Vlad was a loner at this time, and his only friend is Henry. He finds out that his teacher was found dead and that his teacher's replacement is a man named Otis Otis. Otis reveals that he knows Vlad is a vampire, and despite this Nelly invites Otis to dinner. After the dinner, Vlad goes up to see something marked on the side of his dresser. Freaked out, he confronts Otis, who turns out to be Vlad's uncle. While searching in his attic, he finds a cylinder which later turns out to be the greatest weapon against vampires, the lucis. Vlad is later confronted by the president of the a council near Bathory, D'Ablo, who attempts to kill him. At the end of the fight, he blasts D'Ablo's hand off.
9th grade year: Vlad makes a new friend named Josh. Josh is Henry's cousin and is secretly a slayer. Otis is now a teacher at Vlad's high school. Vlad begins his training with Otis's friend Vikas. This is when Vlad first learns of the powers he can have as a vampire. Also, Vlad learns more about drudges. Towards the end of the year, Vlad learns he is the pravus, and is staked by Josh.
10th grade year: Josh at this time has left Bathory, and Vlad is left crushed. He does heal due to being the pravus. A new enemy has risen, Ignatius. Ignatius turns out to be Vlad's grandfather (he turn Vlad's father, who then had Vlad). However, despite the relationship, he attempts to kill Vlad still. Henry begins to resent not having free will, because he is a drudge, but he later is fine with it. At the end, D'Ablo strikes again, but steals Vlad's invulnerability, though he does not gain it in the process.
11th grade year: Josh has returned to finish with what he left off, though has made a truce with Vlad to be friends in the day, and kill each other at night. There is a new vampire that wishes to drink Vlad's blood, and his name is Dorian. Dorian constantly has asked Vlad for his blood. Time and time again, Vlad does refuse his offer. A new threat, Eddie Poe has discovered Vlad's secret, and tried to make a bargain with him. Eddie will not reveal Vlad's secret, and in return Vlad changes him into a vampire. Vlad refuses, sending Eddie into madness. Towards the end, Josh accidentally stakes Dorian, and Dorian begs Vlad to drink his blog before he dies. Vlad does, and at the end, he sees his father who tells him not to kill Josh, and then just like he appeared, he vanished.
12 grade year This is the year that all hell broke loose. Eddie was transformed into a vampire by the oldest known vampire alive at the time. He then went to drain the blood of Vlad's friends. However, when Vlad got there, it turned out to be a trap, and Eddies staked Vlad through the heart, as Vlad lost his invulnerability. However, it is found out that Vlad did not lose it at all, and Eddie fled. The Slayers came to Bathory to cleanse the town of vampires by killing everyone that moves. Josh however allied with Vlad. The war ended when a slayer killed Snow, Vlad's girlfriend. That is when Vlad learned of the pravus's power to control people through his command. when Vlad thought the battle was over, he found out that his dad was trying to steal Vlad's power going so far to kill Nelly. Vlad did dispose of him, and Joss and Henry disposed of Vikas, because Vikas and Tomas were working together.
