Physical Appearance: He is taller then most men, stands at a whopping 6ft 3inches. His hair kinda longish pure white hair (think like Alucard's, Sebastian's, or Fai's length.). His eyes are a dark blue with white swirls in them. He is rather thin but athletic looking. His teeth are a dark black color, not because they are rotted but because they are not made of calcium, but rather carbon instead.
Special Abilities: Control over the Elements. (Can create it out of nowhere if it is strictly helping nature, other then that, he has to use what is around him.) As well as defensive powers (like barriers) and healing powers. (He can take away illnesses and poisons from others, but into himself, which can be dangerous.) He is faster and more agile then most humans, he is also slightly stronger then most humans but not by much. (Like he couldn't pick up a car with ease, but could probably move around arcade machines or heavy furniture with ease)
I also forgot to add a couple of things, an Eli's senses are a bit more sensitive then that of a humans, and they have a fighting mode called "Overdrive mode". In which, the pure instinct of an Eli takes over, and the soul uses itself to amplify the power that the Eli naturally has. It is only achiveable if the Eli is in a near death scenario, other then the one layed out by fate. Illnesses are also removed, and the Eli would have time to recover. However the Eli is in a coma like state for a few days or so, following directly after coming off of that mode. It is used as a last resort only to protect their life.
Weapons: None, he fights with his physical skills.
History:
His dad was the leader of the Village of Vermilion, his mom was a normal human. He however his not a Half Eli, his older sister, Noelle was. His sister only 7 years older then him, she took care of him but also entertained him most days. When he was 5 and she was 12, they played a prank on the wrong person. She was able to escape, he didn't. They captured him and injected chemicals into his eyes to make him blind, hence the white swirling. It was more or less of an accidental prank, Ryu and Noelle were seeing on their own if Ryu could control which way tree branches would grow when causing the tree to grow. Someone was walking near them and Noelle suggested that he try and trip the man as he walk by.
Ryu decided to do it and succeeded, they laughed, even though through the laughter Ryu had asked if the man was ok but he didn't seem to care. He chased after the two, Noelle having longer legs was able to get away while he caught Ryu. Turns out they played a prank on a very sadistic thief, whom brough Ryu back to his base, and punished him for the deed by blinding him by injecting a watered down version of bleach into the eyes of this kid.
His dad taught him how to do combat, along with his older sister, as well as taught him how to get around using his powers over the air, and how to fight, using this power as well as his other senses. His sister learned the same way too. He also learned on what it meant to take care of the village for when his dad died.
On his 18th birthday, his dad dies, in a last fight with his son, he lost due to his draining power but Ryu didn't kill him. Due to his race, he was a reincarnation of his dad, that day was when the last of his soul and powers finally meet up, it was a painful experience, but once it was over, he headed home. His sister blamed him for the death of their parents, because after she found out she was so upset that a shockwave of power came from her, killing their mom as well and refuses to forgive him and constantly toys with him.

Being an Eli- And Eli is this small race of people who reproduce via Reincarnation. Their powers are all the same, with the same restrictions. They were made this way to properly take care of the village they were assigned to, only 14 'main' ones exist however up to 28 of them may exist up to one time. Once they hit 50 years, their soul splits and creates a new body. They have until that version of them turn 18 to teach them everything, so they normally have a very much a child-parent bond. The way their bodies are made up is kinda different. Bones made of Carbon so they are much more durable then that of a human, two hearts, 4 lungs, a very straight forward digestion tract, one Kidney, much smaller liver then in humans. Sex Organs still work in the same way, just way much more fertile. Their Brain and Spinal cord are one organ that reside in the spine, the hearts are located in the skull. They also have a physical intolerance to drugs, both helpful and bad, due to the size of their liver.
(If you wish to know more about this race, just ask. There are other differences that are generally minor but I can write forever about them, heh.)
Honestly, that is the one thing I didn't give too much thought on, the new body and how it is made. I'm just going to assume, the soul searches the dimensions for a stillborn newborn on the 50th birthday, and takes the body and reforms it to fit the soul, essentially creating it into an Eli, then delivers it to the main host before taking residence. Of Course it asks permission first, explaining that their child cannot come back, however the body can be used to give life to someone else. Weird Paranormal Shit.
They reproduce through reincarnation because through sex they can only create a half Eli or a Double Eli. Half Elis are the more common ones, abit, still rare as Elis do not commonly have sex so one may appear once in 300 years, they are a little less powerful, but tend to have attachment issues as a slight mental defect, they become over attached to their parents. Usually, when their parent 'dies' they blame the younger incarnation as the murderer, they normally don't explain to the kids as to what would happen as to protect them, but it ends up biting them in the ass. The half Elis don't exist very often, so memories get lost, and similar mistakes are made.
A Double Eli is what happens when two Elis reproduce together, and is extremely rare. The powers of the parent get passed down into the child, hence why the Half Eli even gets any powers. Elis are naturally powerful in their own right, however their body is built to withstand fights and the amount of power thats comes along with only being just an Eli. If the powers of two Eli combined into one body, the body itself physically wouldn't be able to handle it, thus falling apart as the powers grow with the child. No child that was a double Eli would last past the age of 5.
Elis are also very much discouraged against having sex in their own social circle. As they are made to be the leader and protector of their village, they will still have an heir no matter what, so most people don't see a point to them to want to even love someone else, let only get physical with someone. However, being reincarnated as many times as they have, a few vices and virtues seem to be 'passed down' for lack of a better phrase between hosts. Ryu's major vice in this way is Lust, his Major virtue being Kindness.
