The New Location

Amilia set foot on the new grounds of the Hellsing Organization, literally located in one of the oldest cathedrals in Hallowton. The building was being used as a refugee ground for the sick and needy while the royal guard and many others stationed themselves outside on the streets to fend of rioters, the streets were a constant war zone until Harkers Guardian troops set up over watch and defenses. Amilia decided to set what remained of the Hellsing order within the walls of the Cathedral, it would be the new location for the Hellsing Organization.

The new location made the Iscariot order more than happy as they could properly do their rituals and send their blessings up to the god that no longer watched over them. The Wildgeese and the Judgment Corps had plenty of room in the back courtyard which was walled off with eight foot high walls and lined with metal fencing all the way around. Considering this cathedral had long since been used as a gathering place for the poor and needy it was the ideal place for Hellsing to take over.

There was no priests or bishops there was only an iconic building which rested in the old world of Hallowton. Amilia found ample rooms for the troops and an office for herself to be located. The underground area of the cathedral had hundreds of rooms to house staff members and the deeper you went you would eventually run into a new installation, a thick wooden door with the Hellsing Pentagram plastered in blood across the door. Only one key opened it and what was behind the door was the halls of the undead.

This district of town was close to the castle and was pretty much locked down and safe with the refugees moving out into the streets and living in the buildings around them out of harms way, Amilia stood on the top step of the Hellsing Cathedral now looking down the road, she had a lot of work to do and stress plenty on her back.

Magoichi walked towards the new ground where Hellsing would now be located, she didn’t know the reason that the new leader would want to move ground, but it was her decision on what she wanted to do next. However Magoichi didn’t really mind the move, it would just mean she would need to get use to new areas and new looks. She was looking forward to seeing what the Wild Geese were up to these days and she was looking forward to working with them again, if she managed to make another contract with the new leader of Hellsing.

Walking towards the building she was impressed, it looked like those cathedrals that the foreigners made in Japan, even before coming here she had been impressed that humans can make something so magnificent with such accuracy. She then saw a woman standing on the top step of the cathedral looking out to the road, that was Amilia, the woman who took over Hellsing, and possibly Magoichi’s new boss. Magoichi slowly approached the woman before bowing her head, ”The new Hellsing location seems to be very good, I’m impressed that you were able to find something that’s so defensible,” Magoichi commented.

"I didn't find it perse," a correct statement all in one, this center was used by the refugees and had been guarded for a long while due to the structure being one of the oldest things in the city. "This location is one of the original structures to stand in the city. If you were a native here you'd know about it. The cathedral hasn't been used for religious purposes in nearly a hundred years, it was originally built as a fortress outside of the castle and after the first wars of ancient times it became a monastery for the ancient priests. Hallowton the city didn't come into the picture for another couple hundred years."

So this place had already existed long before the city of Hallowtown ever came in existence, Magoichi could see the fortress that intertwined in the place of worship. If that was the case then it was a good location to relocate, it would be easily defensible, and she was sure that Amilia would have plans and strategies should this place come under attack. ”Well in that case I admire the defences around this place,” she said, ”so the natives know about this place? Its strange that I didn’t know about it until now…even though I talk to the locals every day…perhaps I wasn’t asking the right questions,” she mused to herself before going back to the reason for the visit. ”Miss Amilia, as Sir Integra has passed away, I would like to discuss the terms of my contract and service with Hellsing, have you located and read the previous contract that Sir Integra had with me?” Magoichi asked.

"It's only the second largest building in the city next to Harker industries not including the castle. It'll get usage now," she listened now considering there was business to talk about Hellsings contracts and Integra's services that was extended to her captains and units.

"Everything was lost in the fire or explosions in the mansion, if she had a written contract filed away somewhere it's been lost. We can rediscuss a new one if that's what you're looking forward to doing."

So the old contract that Magoichi had with Sir Integra was lost in the fire, it didn’t mean much to Magoichi since it merely states the terms and condition of her hiring into Hellsing. Back in Japan they used scrolls that contained merely what was expected of her, who her enemies were, and who her allies were; both of these were subject to change over time as she was hired by the different factions of Japan. Now she would be able to create a new contract with her new employer, setting the boundaries of her duties, what she would be doing etc., ”I don’t mind creating a new contract,” Magoichi said, ”would you like to discuss this in a more private area?” she asked, as she felt that it wasn’t prudent to discuss such things in the open.

"Yes, there's an office behind the alter that I use to conduct business now," she lead the way between the rows of pews to the alter and then took a sharp left and right then another right opening the door to allow them in. The office was brilliantly decorated with a mix of holy and unholy relics recovered from the Hellsing mansion.

Magoichi followed Amilia to her private office that was decorated in all sorts of religious objects, even some that were considered unholy. It seemed that the woman was interested in these sorts of things, that didn’t matter much to Magoichi at all. She also noticed the portrait of Sir Integra as she looked at it for a while, she was a good employer and Magoichi highly respected her because she did things that only men would have done, such as commanding an organization. She would miss her greatly as Amilia then asked what her terms and conditions were for the contract.

”My terms and conditions are simple, I will continue to serve Hellsing as long as my services are needed, I will fight your enemies until they are destroyed or…or we are defeated. If it is also possible, unless there is someone more suited to it, I would like to have control of Wild Geese as I am well familiar with them and them with me; as for payment…I only require enough money to pay for food, weapon repairs and acquisition as well as for any ammunition I might require.” As Magoichi paused for a moment to let her terms sink in before continuing, ”Now Miss Amilia, do you have any conditions that you require of me?” she asked.
