"Maybe we can." She offered a soft smile at Summer's word, eyes closing as she gave a smile though it was to simply to hide her eyes. She hardly wanted to go home. That meant the Emperor would know it had failed him again. Not something it wanted to go back to admit.

"Ankoku Temple is a buddhist temple. I suppose the closest thing to a god we worship would be the Bodhisattva. Some people still worshipped older gods though too." It left a slightly bittered taste in her mouth to admit that apparently Amaterasu had followers still, but no matter. It was only time before people began to lose their faith again. It would be during that time the demons would rise up once again.

At the question of magic though, Rao fanned out the slips of paper in her hand again.

"Prayer slips, useful in the purification and destruction of demons. Rao said before fanning herself with the sheets of paper.

"The way you sound though, do you not have such issues back at home? For either of you? Are you not plagued by the wandering demons who simply wait for the moment to strike?" Did her Dark Emperor know of even more places to expand their reach to?

From the way that she was talking about it, it sounded that she came from one of the Asian countries like Japan or China. Eleanor had read a few books on religion and the Bodhisattva was mentioned in all of them, she knew how important that deity was to Asian countries, so she was greatly intrigued by what the woman had to say. She was more intrigued by the slips of paper that was said to purify 'demons' away, she had never seen such things before and she wondered if they really could help them when demons fight back, "Who makes such purification seals? Do you have special people that do it? Or do you do it yourself?" she asked.

Eleanor shook her head, "We don't have demons in our world per se, but...well..." she looked away not wanting them to know that Rapture's inhabitants could be classified as demons with the way they act. She just hoped that they would never have to see such a thing, it would give people nightmares.

Summer was completely lost, she didnt follow any religions. She wouldnt have believed in the demons, but after meeting Tall Jake, she figured anything was possible. Take herself for example. She wondered if these people were ok with Demi-gods. She would probably find out later. "How can paper keep a demon away?" She was interested about that.
