((OoC: The title may seem like just random numbers, however it is like that way for a reason considering the character this thread is for. Her threads will all more than likely made in similar manners as far as titles are concerned. Just a little creative thinking concerning titling threads. It's not that hard to figure out ^^ If the title requires further clarification, please do not hesitate to send me a message and/or ask me. Thank you ^^)) A home computer, idle and quiet. Hibernation, sleep mode in effect. It was rather late in the night anyway. The silence of the sleeping computer came to a stop though. The fans of the computer whirred to life as a couple of soft and quiet beeps sounded as the computer returned to functioning normally. A loh in screen appeared as normal, to welcome the user. It remained on that screen for a long while. Finally though, the cursor on the home computer stopped flashing. The screen froze. It suddenly became black. The computer rebooted. Commands being given, bringing it to the settings of the operating system during the boot. Numbers and words changed in a flash. A blue screen appeared. The computer restarted once more. A backup done on the computer, back to complete original factory settings. The operating systems even had to be reprogrammed to launch the computer, as if it were brand new. Clock was set for a random time; 12:53 A.M. Calender set to a random date. And finally, a user name was created with a simple name reading; '(-:'. No password set. Upon logging in though. The screen became black again. Until a dot appeared on the screen. A seemingly white speck which grew and grew rapidly on the screen. A sphere coming into sight clearly, with a city of sorts being shown within the sphere. From within the sphere, a white smiling mask made its way towards the screen, growing larger. It seemed for a moment as if it were going to break through the screen with the rendering of how the sphere made it seem one could reach to through the computer to touch the city. The white mask with a simple smile upon red lips came to the front entirely hiding the sphere. The speakers sounded softly, a message being given though it simply sounded like nothing more than a fax machine giving its nonsense sounds. Glass shattered and the room became dark. The screen of the monitor had shattered into hundreds of fine pieces of glass which now littered the floor. A single hand stretched from the monitor. Golden color claw tipped fingers wrapped around the frame of the monitor. Another black hand followed. Slowly and carefully, she pulled herself from the monitor out on the desk where she sat for a moment. The virus was silent with a bland face worn for the time being. At least until she heard movement. Hexadecimal placed her feet onto the floor and slid from the desk, moving to greet the person who would be joining her. She knew who they were after all! A smile came to form on Hexadecimal's mask as the man entered the room. She quickly embraced him, lacing her finger with his. "Oh, Bob! I've missed you sooo much!" And needless to say, the man, who was not Bob, began to panic a great deal. He ripped his hands away from the...Er...human looking creature, screamed and retreated towards his room, potentially to arm himself. Not that Hexadecimal would take the time to find out. "Guess that wasn't Bob...Oh well," the virus practically sang as she looked around. Why not go ahead and tell all of Mainframe of her wonderful return? Her gaze drifted until a window was spotted with a door near it which lead out to the open area. Goody! Needless to say though, after stepping through the front door and out into the streets of Isafaro, Hexadecimal was left rather disappointed; this place was not Mainframe. That meant no Bob. A frown formed on the mask and green eyes became blue. "Well this is disappointing." She said softly. "A memo to myself! Murder Daemon and her followers faster next time. End memo~!" She paused and looked around. "But...I am intrigued..." Her walk continued not a moment later as she took to wandering the streets of Isafaro in the early morning.

Kat search for her sister had turned up nothing but dead ends as nobody on the street of Isafaro seemed to recognize her sister. That was until she realized she were asking the wrong questions. Instead of asking them if they had seen Chloe she should be finding the people who encountered her eldest sister first hand. The blonde woman, the violet haired one or the silver-headed male would do. Kat began to recite these descriptions and two names ended up being uttered. Amoura and Drake White. Amoura was a legend around Genesis, famous for her exploits against a force known as Arashi and other creatures that had threatened Genesis. Drake White was of course also famous, known as the "Golden Boy" of Isafaro and somewhat of a ladies man. That was perfect. While Kat wasn't shallow she knew that many found her attractive. If this "Drake" was indeed heads over heels for the ladies then getting him to cooperate shouldn't be an issue. Finding him on the other hand would be another thing altogether, as he was dubbed a traitor and went into hiding.
Kat's own personal musings would be halted for a moment, her eyes going over something that stuck out even in a place like Isafaro like a sore thumb. The young blonde spotted Hex walking around in the middle of the streets. Only a few people passing by and giving her a stare, others running back inside at the sight of her. Since it was a suburbs there weren't many patrols here, making it an ideal place for Kat to move through for rest without worry of more Vulture men trying to arrest her. Though she wore a hood anyways just in case, not ignorant of the Vulture's AI that allegedly had eyes and ears everywhere. Kat stopped in front of Hex, slightly unnerved but at the same time intrigued.
"Excuse me but who -- or what -- are you?"

So many sprites here! Where were the binomes? How strange! She came to stand over some people, looking them over by looking over their shoulders and clearly invading private personal space. She hardly cared though. Even as they fled. What a shame though. Honestly. She had an icon and everything! If Phong and Bob had thought it alright to give her an icon, thenat must have meant something, right? But this wasn't Mainframe. She kept forgetting that. However, she dropped green eyes down towards the girl who stood in front of her. She stepped back a step, somehow, missing the girl approach. She tilted her head to the side at the question asked. Honestly, she had saved all of the Net, and this was her reward? However her eyes narrowed as she studied, what she assumed to be, sprite. Something did not make sense. "An unregistered sprite?""Intriguing. Even for outside of Mainframe, it's odd for a sprite not to have an Icon." Hexadecimal tilted her head back up right, her eyes slowly returning to normal, the yellow color fading away from them and giving way to their usual green. "I infect the entire web. I have spread through systems, peoples," at that word she stepped closer towards the girl in front of her. "And cities. From a place known as Mainframe. Format: Virus." A smile had shifted into place, the word virus said with the slightest hint of a growl hidden in it. "My name is Hexadecimal."There was no need to scare these sprites off just yet by giving the name she had earned in Mainframe. Nope. Not yet. "But, you lacking an icon. You're either a foolish sprite who is waiting to be deleted. Or your not a sprite. AH-HA!" Her smile widened as she seemingly believed she figured it out. "You're from a game, like that girl with that Virus-Hater! Wait no. Even they have icons of sorts. I don't like their's as much." He eyes narrowed again. "Another virus?"So far, this place seemed big enough for only virus to be running about. Even all of mainframe could not handle two, she had shown that to both Megabyte and Daemon.

"Beg your pardon?"
Sprite? Mainframe? Icon? Virus!? Kat had no clue what this person was talking about and the more she explained the more confused she eventually became.
"It's... nice to meet you, Hexadecimal. Only I'm not a sprite or a virus. I'm human."

Nadia and Rebecca moved from one cover to the next, making sure to keep out of sight, they couldn’t afford to be captured by the soldiers here. No one could and neither of them were looking forward to what would happen to them if they were ever captured, fighting for the rebel army had its disadvantages due to the fact that your life was in danger every waking second, but hey? How is it any dangerous then being in the army? Or in a city infested with zombies? Both of them could laugh as they had basically traded one danger for another.
Right now the two of them were on a scouting mission, a run-of-the-mill mission they’ve done plenty of times, as Nadia took cover behind a pillar as she heard voices. She immediately signalled Rebecca to stay quiet as Rebecca nodded acknowledging the signal, the two of them then tried to peek over their covers to see who it was. From Nadia’s viewpoint she could see that there was a young girl there with blonde hair talking to what seemed to be…some sort of blank person so to speak, in fact it didn’t even look like a person. Nadia threw Rebecca a confused glance as the former police shrugged her shoulder.
The question now was to whether continue on with their mission, or stay here to see if they could gleam any sort of information from the conversation, neither the girl or the blank person looked like enemies and their mission did take precedence, but at the same time there was a chance that one of them would have information that the rebels might find useful. So with a smile Nadia silently moved to a better position as Rebecca looked at her worryingly, ”Don’t worry,” Nadia mouthed, ”I’ll be fine,” she said as she moved closer to the duo while Rebecca stayed where she was.

"That's terrible begging. I guess you weren't programed to beg for anything, were you?" However, the virus stopped short. A human? What was a human? Wait. "What is a human? You look like a sprite well enough to me, but I've never seen a human before. Intriguing indeed." The virus stepped to one sideof the girl, studied her. In the flash of light, she vanished and reappeared on the other side of the girl, watching her still, studying her still. "What is it you do, human? What is your purpose? Do you participate in games? Do you make firewalls?-" Her eyes flashed red quickly at the mention of the firewall. "Or...Is your role not that important?
The things we haven't seen in Mainframe...Hmm."

Kat could only look at the woman funny as a simple day-to-day phrase was taken literally. The virus' question about what a human was caught the blonde off guard as she leaned slightly back while the mysterious female examined her. Being temporarily blinded by the sudden flash of light before turning around and jumping at the reappearance of the virus. That would be a done a third time causing annoyance in her before hearing the question.
"Purpose?"
That was the big one. To this day her kind were still trying to figure that out. Kat had a purpose but that was very different than what human purpose may or may not have been. First thing first though.
"First off if you want me to tell you anything you better stop flashing that light in my face!"

Nadia heard the conversation and was a bit confused at the other person's words, firewalls? Games? It sounded like the person wasn't even human, it sounded more like a machine, it was a confusing idea, but on Genesis anything was possible. She then had to cover her eyes as a flash of light nearly blinded her as automatically gripped her gun tighter in anticipation of an attack. However it seemed that the machine wasn't on the offensive as she sighed in relief.

Her eyes changed back to their usual green at the girl's quick change. The mask-like face changed quickly back to a normal bland face. Other than her blinking, her face was that like a perfect ceramic mask. She eventually tilted her head to the side though, her face unchanging for a moment as she studied the girl. "What light? Hexadecimal turned to look over one shoulder then turned to look over the other. Nothing on both sides. She turned around fully. What lightswas this crazy human speaking about? There were no lights here flashing about. "Your programming must be terrible; first terrible at begging. Second, you're imagine flashing lights. A pity.
Are all humans like this? Or are you the only one of your kind like this?"

Lightning was boredly walking around the streets glaring at the people who were looking at her the wrong way. She had arrived at this place against her will always fighting battles and disliking the fact she was once again hurled into some strange predicament.
She came across Hex and the person she was talking to but was unsure if they were enemies or allies. However she drew her gunblade as a precaution and began walking towards the two slowely.

"I don't have any programming. I'm a human! Hu-man! Are you honestly telling me you don't know what a human is?"
It was beginning to look like that was the case. Whoever or whatever this thing was must not have come from a world where humans like her existed, or existed in a part where no humans were around. Virus? Kat wasn't used to humanoid viruses that could walk and talk. Her eyes would soon wander away from Hex however and fall on the woman coming this way with a sword in hand, prompting Kat to begin backing away.
"D-don't come any closer!"

Yep it was official, whoever the woman was talking to they weren’t acquaintances and the other person was definitely not human. Both soldiers had seen their fair share of non-human entities during their delightful stay here in Genesis, from aliens, to demons, to even fantasy creatures they thought only existed in fairy tales they’ve seen them all. So now they were hoping that it wasn’t one of those dangerous aliens that they had encountered now and again, but the other woman didn’t speak like an alien, more like a machine so perhaps a cyborg? Nadia didn’t know and she was about to sigh and get back on track to her mission before a shout alerted to another presence.
Immediately she shifted from her cover to try and peek over the other end of the cover, sure enough she saw a pink-haired woman approaching them cautiously with some sort of weapon on hand. She didn’t look like a rebel soldier, nor did she look like one of Vulture’s men not that she ever saw a woman in his army. Things were becoming tense at the moment and Rebecca was silently gesturing her to keep moving before things get worse, but of course Nadia would only ignore her as she continued to watch the exchange.

"No, sadly. I am afraid I do not know what a human is. So strange.-" Hexadecimal fell quiet suddenly at the girl's exclamation concerning the other. She vanished and appeared behind Kat once again, eyeing the woman with the gunblade in hand as well.
"Oh my, this won't do at all. She looks like another human, but, with a weapon. OH! This is like a game, delete her before she deletes you. I would imagine you should hurry!" The virus fell silent for a moment, a scowl quickly flew in place as her attention fell onto the woman and her weapon fully. "And I did not say you could interrupt my conversation."

Kat turned her head slightly to see Hexadecimal behind her all while keeping her attention to the woman with the sword.
"Are you crazy? I'm no fighter I'll be killed!"
Right, she probably didn't know what killed was.
"Deleted. I'll be deleted."
Kat was starting to get Short Circuit flashbacks for some reason.
"You have to help me! Please!"

The more that Nadia heard the conversation, the more she had an inkling that this machine-like person was no good, she talked about deleting things and if that didn’t scream ‘kill’ then she didn’t know what did. It was also clear that the other woman was starting to panic a bit, as Nadia gestured for Rebecca to get over here as the police officer moved in, ”Do you have a flashbang with you?” she asked.
Rebecca shook her head, ”The only thing I have is tear gas and a stun gun,” she replied.
”That’ll have to do,” Nadia said, ”things are getting tense out here and I don’t like the thought of this getting any worse, the machine guy sounds like he’s egging the civilian on, and I don’t know about the other guy, but I’m not going to take my chances with a civilian in danger. I’m going to distract that machine guy, and when I do, I need you to get your stun gun and shoot it. That way we’ll hopefully buy enough time to get those other two girls out of there and away from him before he wakes up,” she explained as Rebecca nodded. They then put their plan into action as Rebecca quietly moved closer towards Hexidecimal, while remaining in cover, when she got as close as she could without being seen she gestured for Nadia that she was ready, taking out her stun gun in the process.
Nadia then popped up from her cover and pointed it at Lightning, ”Don’t move,” she shouted while at the same time Rebecca popped up from her cover and fired her stun gun at Hexidecimal, as electricity course through the wires and into the virus. Nadia then looked at Kat, ”Civilian get over here now!” she shouted.
