For a brief moment, the tide of the sea-born army that served the dark god was halted by the sheer destruction wrought upon its ranks. The Black Knight took this as an opportunity to survey the rest of the scene, sweeping his gaze across the field of battle, to the newcomers, and to Sparda and Dracula as they fought on in the air. Would that he had the wings of the Hawks, he could be of use there as well. Even the treacerous Crows would have been a boon in this battle.
But he had only a short reprieve before the tide turned once more. The Deep Ones were being resurrected by their master, it would seem. But there was something....amiss. They were changing, growing even more hideous and obscene and clearly dangerous. They seemed as if they were....smaller versions of the god itself. A new wave of doubt swept over the Black Knight at this revelation, and at the continuing tide of Deep Ones that soon enough came marching from the sea once more.
This situation grows more and more dire.... The battle cannot be allowed to be drawn out.
Even he could feel the planet straining and the danger it was in just from the presence of these eldritch creatures. It was time to cease the petty games he had played up to this point.
Slowly he brought Alondite up, holding it before him in one hand. It came to rest pointing straight up to the sky above, as if it were some ceremonial posture in which he held the blade. For a handful of moments he held the posture, even as the first of the blasts from the Cthulhi struck him. Each blast impacted with devastating force, but failed to even mar the gleaming surface of his armor. The only indication of their blast was the faint scorching of soot which itself was quickly blown away.
All too soon the pristine blade of Alondite began to glow faintly, flickering with a barely visible flame. At first pale blue, it hugged the edges of the blade, barely giving it an outline. Then the color grew deeper, more pronounced, and richer, darkening to a deeper shade of sky blue, shot through with white, and it flared around the blade like an inferno.
With a sweep of his arm, he struck out to one side with the blazing blade. A swathe of holy flame exploded along the path of the swing, producing an explosive blast before the Black Knight. The divine flames scorched the ground and air before him, incinerating and blowing back the oncoming ranks of the Deep Ones, and threatening to reduce even the Cthulhi to ash.
And still the power of the blade continued to grow, as soon his entire body was ablaze with the holy flame, a literal inferno amidst the chaos of the battle. Raising the blade high above his head, he took the hilt in both hands. "May whatever foul realm spawned you retake you."
He brought the blade down in a mighty overhand slash. The tip of the blade crashed against the earth, producing a mighty tremor which rocked the earth as if an earthquake had struck, as well as carving a massive gash in the shoreling, splitting it wide and heading straight for Cthulhu itself. But above all, there was the massive blast of holy flame, flung from the blade like meteor at the dark god, seething with an unprecedented level of power. He doubted even the fell god could so easily ignore this blow.
"....how pathetic."
The luminous green eyes of the son of Jenova beheld the coming of the Cthulhi as they made their approach over the mountain of ice which served as a barrier between the city and the madness happening upon its shores. It was growing bothersome, all that noise...
And now these beasts were coming directly for the city. Was whatever this creature was really so confident in its own power as to send its underlings off to attack a city instead of the numerous foes arrayed against it? Confident or...arrogant. It was a curious aspect to consider. If the beast was so powerful, it might do to kill time, at least by facing it.
And it did seem that it was faring well enough at holding its own, even against the power set against it, and it was still not exerting anywhere near its full strength.
In a flash of movement, he disappeared from his resting place across the city. He crossed the intervening distance to arrive on the mountain of ice in the space of a second, appearing as if he had been there all along, standing at the edge of the frozen precipice overlooking the shore.
And he debated whther to engage himself in the battle.

TLDR: Cthulhi are starting their attack on Hallowton. Black Knight destroys more Deep Ones. Black Knight and Xukas combined attacks are stopped by Cthulhu's son. Cthulhu and the other Elder Gods unleash their full might and nearly destroy the planet. Relampago finishes his training and returns. He uses his new powers to protect the city and anyone fighting Cthulhu from the blast. Relampago uses his new powers to boost his allies to equal that of the Gods. They must end battle so Relampago can reform the core before the planet blows up.
The Cthulhi continued their approach as the citizens and guards alike rallied themselves to due battle against the invaders. Whatever differences some of them may of had with each other were quickly thrown to the side with the approach of an even greater enemy. The enemy of my enemy is supposed to be a friend and each and every one of them took that saying to heart. Many of them set up catapults, others stationed canons at the edge of the city, and those who were lucky enough to get a hold on some 21st century technology picked up some very power rifles. The 'small' group that had broken off were now coming into sight. Their numbers were blackening the sky. Then the shot that was heard around the world went off. Like a domino effect, its sound triggered everyone to open fire on the incoming Cthulhi.
Back at the battlefield. The Black Knight had decided it was time to show more of his power. While the Cthulhi may of been smart enough to fly up and away from where their noses were going to hurt, the deep ones on the other hand were not as lucky. Each of them was completely vaporized without even an ash left, but their ranks were easily replaced by the seemingly infinite empire below the sea. Rather than continue attack Cthulhu's minions, Cthulhu would be attack himself by the combined efforts of both Xukas and the Black Knight. As their powerful moves headed straight for the Elder God, the attacks seemingly combined together into something even more powerful.
Cthulhu's sons quickly took notice to the incoming attack as they themselves met the attack head on. Their tentacles wrapped around the gargantuan energy blast as it slowly was pushing them back. For a moment it appeared that the combined attack was going to work and engulf the Gods, but all they merely had to do was increase their own power... the power that they had been holding back the whole entire battle. Cthulhu's patience had faded from the battle. The creature was ready to show them all a taste of its full unlimited power. In order for them to feel a sense of despair, Genesis would have to be destroyed one swift blow. A voice would enter each and everyone of their minds.
"The end had come... and now your planet will die..."
Cthulhu and his sons began to focus on every single atom for miles on end. The sky and the air began to grow hot red as traces of the Elder Gods powers were flooding into life itself. One could only imagine what they were about to do, but the Great Old One had announced the end. Soon he would show them all what it had meant. Each of the creatures, were telekinetically putting pressure on each and every single atom around them. They were planning on splitting the atoms around them and using their power to enable nuclear fission. If radioactive material was used to destroy an entire city, what would happen when an Elder Gods power split countless amounts of atoms. The air grew even thicker with their power. For a moment it seemed like time stood still and then it happened. A taste of their full power was unleashed upon the planet.
"Relampago Open The Gate! Cthulhu is about to destroy the entire planet!"
Relampago and Lovecraft raced across the universe the High Elf had created with his mind. The two were making lightspeed look like slow motion as the the rule of physics at been shattered completely. Light-years were traveled in a matter of minutes as they reached the area were Relampago first awoke, the island.
"It seems like eons since we were last here, hasn't it?
"That's because it has been."
"If we defeat Cthulhu... then what will happen you?
Howard smiled at the question.
"Something that's been awaiting me of a very long time.... my rest. Don't try and change my mind either. I've lived long enough."
"I'll be sad to see you go Howard. You've been a good friend to me for the last several billion years."
"Likewise Valandil. Perhaps someday we'll meet again... Assuming you decide not to keep this power."
Relampago slowly began to open a portal that led back towards returning to his consciousness, but before entering, he had one last thing to ask.
"Before I go there's something I have to ask... When we first met, you said 'what if my life was nothing, but made up.' Am I real or am I just some work of fiction like Cthulhu?"
Lovecraft said nothing for a moment before taking a breath in.
"Your life is your own Valandil. Perhaps there is no such thing as fiction. Maybe Cthulhu was real and our minds were just linked together across the parallel multiverses which enabled me to write about the Elder God. There are still many mysterious out there that could even transcend Cthulhu's understanding that haven't been discovered yet. For now though, don't dwell on it.... Now go my friend. Farewell."
Relampago waved goodbye to the man who for the last several billion years had trained him. The High Elf would never forget him, for he was the one who helped him ascend to Godhood.
The powerful blast was rocking apart Genesis down to its core. Not only was it spreading across the surface, but down, past the crust and mantle and into the core itself. The energy exploding from the Elder Gods threatened to swallow up everything in its path. The guardians that had come to stop them would have no choice, but to relinquish their lives to the might of the Elder Gods. Before that could happen, Salvation would return in the form of a man turned God. A mighty blast of power erupted from Relampago's unconscious body. His energy was continuing to skyrocket to infinite levels until finally his bright whites opened. A warm calming energy would cover each and every single friendly warrior on the battlefield, as well as stretch out to every city that was in range of the blast.
As the red hot energy began to dissipate Cthulhu would feel the return of Relampago reborn along with every single living being on the planet still in their rightful places.
"Impossible... Your mind was shattered"
"It was and I thank you for that..."
The fallout that covered the planet was converted into pure energy and blessed by Relampago's new strength. With his new found powers, he would be able to keep Cthulhu from taking control of everyone's energy. He quickly used the newly formed fallout energy to power each and every single ally on the battle. He wasn't done though. Relampago tore open the dimension that the Elder God had been storing their energy and returning it to each of their rightful owners. If the Elder God's face could show anger, it would be showing it now. Cthulhu and Relampago began to speak to each other in a language that was unknown to those around.
"To think one of you could fully master our powers... your very existence will be ripped apart for this abomination. Be warned though. You may have unlocked our power, but we still outnumber you in power. You've only delayed the inevitable... This planet is still going to be destroyed. The core has been completely disintegrated."
The sky was growing darker by the second and the large hole that was created from the blast quickly started to ooze with lava.
"You should know that I can easily even the odds now. As for the core... once we've defeated you, I'll use these powers to restore what has been destroyed."
"Enough Elf! This has gone on for far too long!"
"Then lets end this once and for all Elder God..."
Relampago looked towards his allies. He started chanting something until finally several beams of energy shot out of his body and into those who were fighting Cthulhu and its army. Each of them would feel their powers rising beyond any limit they would of thought possible. The boost wouldn't end there. His power shot out to Hollowton where the citizens were preparing an all out defense against the Cthulhi, but before the battle could happen, Relampago's magic spread. The citizens and guards would find themselves in Golden Holy Armor and new powered up weapons along with the knowledge of how to use them. What seemed like an impossible battle to win was quickly turned into equal footing. Now the true battle would truly begin, but they would have to hurry. With the core of the planet gone it would only be a matter of time

Looking with a smile on his face as his energy combined with that of the Black Knight, he further braced himself to unleash even more energy. Aqua eyes are focused as the twin attacks merged into one, then hurtled towards Cthulhu.
Watching, his smile turns to a frown as the sons of Cthulhu grapple the gargantuan energy blast. He growls, sending even more energy into the blast, but it was for naught. He felt the power of his foes grow even stronger, His gaze turns to Cthulhu as it makes it clear that now things were serious.
As he feels their power skyrocket. "This cannot be, it was merely toying with us this whole time?" He speaks in a almost disbelieved tone before feeling the very planet being ripped apart. His eyes widen in fear as the surface of Genesis was being ripped apart. Generating even more primal energy he creates a shield around himself.
As the planet is even more ripped apart he gazes around at the others "No, it cannot end like this..." Rage began to rise in his heart, with a furious yell he fires every bit of energy he had at Cthulhu only to see it have little effect. 'Is this it?... Is this really my fate?' He thinks to himself.
Suddenly he looks to the side, seeing another being enter the battle, this being's body radiated untold power. Streams of energy was unleashed from this being, one of them hitting him.
Xukas gasps as he feels untold power swell within him, His gaze turns back to Cthulhu as his rage builds even more. He lets out a long yell as his primal energy cascades outward from him, crashing upon everything around him, his energy builds and builds, cascading even more outwards, before climaxing with a furious dark roar is heard from Xukas. As the power continues to build his eyes were now glowing, and wisps of primal energy were seeping from them.
Gazing at Cthulhu again he lets loose another dark roar before channelling all the power he now had surrounded him in a ball of primal energy nearly the size of London. In a voice colder than ice he speaks to Cthulhu "Now, You Die" Before sending the entire ball of energy straight at Cthulhu, but oh no, he did not stop there, he kept on channelling primal energy into the ball, making it even more powerful.

As the blast rocked the very planet, the Black Knight did the only thing he could. There was nowhere he could flee from such a blast. There was naught he could do in the time he had to create any sort of defense of a power that might avail him. In a show of supreme defiance of the dark gods before him, the Black Knight faced down the blast. His cape flapping wildly behind him with the force of the blast, he brought Alondite up from its grounded position, and held it before him in a defensive posture. And he waited. The sudden energy which came to aid him was far too late to save him from the entirety of the blast. But even without it, he had been unharmed. As the glare of energy and the dust from the blast settled, the Black Knight was revealed. Pushed back several feet by the force of the blast, his armor scorched and blackened to such a degree it had lost the polish and shine it always bore, and the cape covered in such a layer of dust and filth so as to be unrecognizable. But miraculously, there was not a scratch to be seen on the armor itself. And the Black Knight himself, benath the armor....was still whole. Wounded and bloodied by even the brief exposure to such a magnitude of power, yes, but he would survive. And then there came the strange power flowing into his being. He could tell without even looking where it came from. The elf who had been rendered unconscious. His awakening had been heralded by a strange blast of power. But this power now filling him....he could feel something stirring within him from it. Something waking up. The pale blue glow of the divine flame he wielded once more sprang up. It rose again to a towering inferno around him, but only continued to grow in ferocity. All about him, the sand of the shoreline was turned to glass from the impossible level of heat and energy pouring out of the holy flames now radiating from his armored body. From somewhere deep within him, he could feel something clawing its way to the surface. And instantly, without knowing how he knew, or even why he knew, he knew what it was. It clawed viciously up, making itself known beyond any doubt. And all at once, it exploded. The divine flames about him exploded into a pillar of light, spearing into the heavens. And within the light, the Black Knight threw back his head in a howl of anguish. It was a thing which was said to be impossible. To never take place. But slowly, the anguished howl of pain of the Black Knight gave way. It rose in volume, deepening in pitch, and soon lost all human quality. It rose to a deafening roar of bestial rage. And then from the pillar of light exploded a new wave of power. Spears of light erupted at all angles, blasting out huge chunks of the ground. The pillar of light shrank down, forming into a sphere, standing several times taller than would be necessary to surround the Black Knight even with a margin of several feet. Slowly, from within the sphere of light, there rose an almost spectral, shimmering pair of what looked to be wings. Reaching dozens of meters each, they flared up and out to either side. The pale golden light was speared through by a pair of dark blue lights, flickering among the sphere's radiance like holes in a wall. "The end has come indeed, Dark God." The words projected clearly and powerfully, perfectly carrying the dreadful authority and weight of the Black Knight's speech, but blasting out telepathically. "But not for this planet." Like a crumbling ruin, the sphere of golden light gave way to reveal a monstrous sight. Rearing up until his height rivaled that of the dark god itself, there stood a massive dragon. Claws and fangs glistening with the unmistakable pristine white of Alondite's blade. Horns and the devastating spines along its back and tail glaring with the bold bronze glow of Ragnell. Scales the same black as the intimidating armor the mighty knight had worn. And the skin of his wings the same blood-red as the inner side of his cape. "For you." Breath flickering with the divine flames of his weapon, he drew back his head, his jaws slowly opening wider. From within his cavernous maw, there poured a torrent of energy, condensing into a ball before his gaping jaws. It radiated with a vast degree of power, fueled both by his own raw might, the holy power he wielded from his weapons, and the power granted to him by Relampago. And then he let it loose. In a blazing torrent, it blasted forward in a concentrated stream. It impacted the blast Xukas had thrown at Cthulhu, spearheading it on, adding its own devastating payload to the already massive blast, surrounding it in a literal comet of divine flame and destructive energy, and propelling it along all the more swiftly.
