Bruce awoke from his slumber with a bitch of a headache and against an ice cold metal floor. As he pulled himself up to his knees his eyes scanned the area to find himself in an oval shaped room with reinforced metal walls. There was a bed to his rear, a toilet next to that and a table with a couple of chairs by it to his right. The metal door was sealed shut tight and the entire room looked like something that would be extremely difficult to break through even in his Hulk form. Bruce looked around with no earthly idea where he was and who had him. To make matters worse he could still hear the voices of the Netherrealm screaming in his head as he stood up to his feet.
"Well this isn't very relaxing."

"No. I imagine it wouldn't be."The voice of a little girl rang throughout the room as projectors located at the ceiling turned on and formed a short female with long black hair and bathed in a heavenly light from head to toe and clad in a white as snow dress as she now stood before the scientist Bruce Banner with her dark eyes fixated on him. "We do apologize for the poor hospitality on our part but your rather unique condition has left us with few options to provide room for you. Considering where you resided before coming here I'd think you'd find this refreshing. But if you do decide to lose your temper, well...""There are ways to deal with that too."

Bruce went on alert when he heard the voice and then watched as projectors from the ceiling created an illusion of a little girl clouded in white. He listened all the meanwhile examining the girl, carefully approaching her and then kneeling down by the time that smirk started to grow on her face. Curious to what he was being greeted with before going any further.
"What are you some kind of hologram?"

"You're half correct."
Replied the White Queen as she observed Bruce as he knelt down to the ground in front of her in order to examine her.
"I am Kari's artificial intelligence the White Queen, in charge of its day-to-day operations and national defense. You are here because you pose a security risk but at the same time we wish to learn more of your condition and connection with the Netherrealm to see if we can't gain some leverage over the realm that has you prisoner."

"Of course."
Bruce stood back up to his feet and began to walk away from the image of the White Queen as he continued.
"I won't be able to tell you much about the Netherrealm. I still don't fully understand it myself. All I know is I died in Jherrazad and my soul was taken by the realm. As for my other "unique" condition. Gamma Radiation. When I get mad, the other guy comes out. There's no cure."

"We are currently examining your brainwave patterns now."
Said White Queen with little concern over how the man would respond. She was confident this room would hold if the man became stressed and turned green a second time since coming to this city.
"We are observing some rather intense signals, like something is disturbing your regular flow. Like a third voice. We are aware that the Netherrealm has a collective consciousness. We are also aware that such a thing can be exploited. What are they whispering in your ear at this very moment?"

"You don't care much for bedside manner, do you?"
Bruce let out a disdain laugh in spite of himself as he had little choice than to listen to the AI go on about his current condition. Bringing up what he could already hear in his mind. The voices. His head was already busy enough with the "other guy" always being there. Though he didn't speak, his presence was as strong as it ever was. And now, with the demons, it felt like his head was going to explode.
"They're telling me to break out of here."

"Is that all?"
White Queen sounded almost disappointed as she continued to observe the man. Caring very little about his reaction to her lousy bedside manner, as some would have called it. She had an objective to fulfill and she planned to fulfill it. Not caring for his benefit.
"From the intelligence we have gathered on the Netherrealm through their activities in the past several months, we have found that their Achilles heel lies in an often overlooked but overwhelming critical weakness. Their collective consciousness."
White Queen continued to observe, interested in studying his reaction to this information. How he would respond. He didn't seem like a willing member of the Netherrealm. That could be true for many. But would he be willing to help if it meant his own extinction? Humans survival instinct can compel them to do things they never would have thought themselves capable of before. Even if it meant living the rest of their life as a demon with a collective conscious.
"Severing that connection would be the same as a humanoid severing an arm or a foot. This is where you come in. We want to use you to send a command to the Netherrealm."
Another smile graced the AI's lips before she continued.
"We want you to put them to sleep."

"You want me to put them to sleep?"
He was intrigued but his thought process was interrupted by a sudden throbbing in his head that grew progressively worse as time went on until he was on his knees. Screaming out towards the ceiling as the damage being done to the Netherrealm had reached his mind and soul, as well as the minds and souls of all the others like him as they all screamed in unison inside his head.

Before White Queen could answer she observed the changes in brainwaves on the monitors in the room just outside of the cell from the copy of herself in the console outside. The White Queen in the room with Bruce looked him over with her own two eyes as she got closer to him. Something was already happening with the realm and it may very well put a damper on her plans.
"Mr. Banner, what is it? Tell me!"

By the time Bruce turned back around to face the White Queen, his face and hair had turned green and his size increasing as another perfectly good pair of clothes were ruined as he morphed. His pants, which was torn and reduce to that of shorts, were all that remained as the big guy was back and madder than ever as he hurled himself straight at the wall of the maximum security facility, the shockwave shaking the room while he tried to fight his way out.

Nothing ever went according to plan anymore. White Queen began to back away from Bruce as he transformed. Hulk's strength threatening the projectors keeping the AI's avatar in the room until finally they gave away and she disappeared. Her image at least. After the shockwave died down the room held. But from the little information they knew about Hulk there appeared to be no limit to his strength, other than his anger. If they wanted him to turn back to Bruce then they had to find a way to calm him. White Queen released a strong surge of knockout gas into the room powerful enough to take down several full grown elephants. Observing to see what effect it would have.

The knockout gas didn't appear to bother the Hulk all that much, having a high resistance to such things. He continued to bang on the walls as his anger, and as a result of that his strength, grew as failure to dent the wall only made him more mad and frustrated. Until finally the Hulk began to create a dent in the wall, coming one step closer to breaking out of the room and wrecking havoc in Kari all over again.

So, his resistance was high enough to fend off against the gas. They'd have to try something else. Remembering Hulk's battle against the Mammoth Tank it seemed applying enough pain to the beast was enough to turn him back into Bruce Banner. If that's the case then all they had to do was make him hurt. White Queen was perfectly content with that. Activating another console causing electricity to fill up the entire room at high velocity in an attempt to make him pass out from the pain.

Hulk's cries made it out past the reinforced steel walls and echoed across the halls of the Kari base as the electricity surged through his body but he didn't go down. Instead he found the strength he needed to finally break through the steel walls and leap out of the room. Letting out an anger induced roar before charging through the halls ripping through things. Anyone crazy enough to stand in his way risked being ran down as if they had stepped out in front of a monster truck, the whole building shaking as a result of his rampage through it. It just go to show when you caged the beast the beast gets angry.
