Swarm froze at the mention of Texas. “Wait..” She interrupted again, not caring if Cutter was annoyed at her. She’d pissed off enough people in her life to learn not to care. Unless they shot at her or tried to kill her in some other way. “Texas? As in half-girl, half-shark? Tucker and Church and Caboose and Sheila and Red Team?” She tried not to cringe when Caboose’s name left her lips. “Allison as in Church’s old girlfriend? Beta as in you were a part of Alpha?” She looked over at Jonas then, violet eyes still wide with shock. “And you’re a SPARTAN?” Her voice was oddly quiet, but then it increased in volume as a wide grin spread across her face.
“HOLY SHIT.” She threw her hands up in the air and giggled. Who cares (besides the obvious people involved, of course) if she was interrupting their important meeting, they were UNSC! Rummaging through her pocket, she produced a digital camera, and snapped a photo of them, and then the ship. She spoke again, but this time more to herself. “I am so excited. Next we’ll be having all the Freelancers. Well, at least the ones who are still alive. Who is still alive? Carolina, Washington… yea, I think that’s it. Wow. That’s sad. York and North were my favorites.” Sighing, she put away her camera.
“But hey! I have a question! Have you guys finished up the Human-Covenant War yet? Have you guys found Chief? Do you know about the Didact? And the Human-Forerunner War? And Jonas, which generation of SPARTAN are you? Hold old were you when you got ‘drafted’ for the project? Ooo, this is exciting!” She bounced up and down, grinning.
“And hey, mind if I look at your ship?” Her ball bearings flowed out of her bag and formed a large platform which she stepped onto. It floated several feet into the air, and Swarm held up her camera. “I won’t touch anything. Really. I’ll just pictures. I totally won’t look for a Railgun because I want one really badly or try and find Jonas’ SPARTAN armor and take a picture of that because I’ve always wanted to even though I already have a picture of Caboose’s but his is old and I want to see a new model…” Her words came out rather rapidly and she found it impossible to wipe the utterly delighted grin off her face.

The three stared at the loud woman, the soldiers guarding the pelican running out with their magnums aimed as she floated up toward the Alpha.
"Hey, get down from there, you crazy bitch!" yelled one of the marines, Cutter looking back to the White Queen with a annoyed expression.
"I assume you have to deal with this person on a daily basis?"
"Who the fuck is she? And what the hell is she going on about?" Allison asked, Jonas nodding in agreement, though he kept a more level head than his companion.
"She seems to know alot more about our universe than she should. Is there any other reason other than she also comes from another universe?"

"I cannot confirm nor deny anything until I hear from Mr. Kain but I am sure once he sees the chip he will be able to make his decision. Should you be employed we'll open up an account for you to wire your caps there. Caps being our currency. It would benefit you greatly during your stay."White Queen listened to the other introductions and simply said, "Pleasure." before looking to Allison. "An apology won't be necessary."White Queen turned over to Swarm as she started covering private information about the group to everyone present at the meeting. Looking back to the group once they asked about her. "I have never seen this woman before now. It would seem that in her world what she knows of yours is public information. She is quite the pest isn't she? Ms. Ocampo. Kindly escort this woman off the premises."The dark-headed female stepped out in front of Swarm with a hardened expression present on her face. "All right lady get moving."

Swarm frowned, a slightly irritated look in her eyes. “Oi! I take offense to that!” She snapped at the marines. “Not the crazy part, of course,” She took a step off her platform and stood upside-down on the bottom, her arms folded. “That’s completely true. Psychotic, that’s me.” She grinned, as if stating the fact she was mentally unstable was a part of normal conversation. “I don’t see why you’re so upset… wait…” Her eyebrows furrowed as her voice became more of a mutter. “I get it. I’m new. You haven’t seen me before. I know all about you guys, but you have no idea who I am or what my intentions are. A lot of the Alpha’s systems are state-of-the-art. New. TOP SECRET. Can’t let unqualified personell know how they work.” A thought occurred to her and her face lit up again. “Dude! I sound like Mordin.”
Looking at Cutter and the White Queen, she smiled. “Sorry. I talk a lot. Think aloud. Have to. It doesn’t make sense in here.” She pointed to her skull, an oddly absent look in her eyes. “So sometimes I say things that offend other people. Sorry.” But listening to what the White Queen said, she frowned again. “Hey!” The irritation turned into mild apprehension when Rain approached her. “You know, White Queen, you were just as fun in the movies.” She gave Rain a once-over before speaking in mild awe.
“Hey… didn’t you… you know..” She remembered seeing Ocampo getting her head blown off as a zombie. “Oh wait! You were brought back! So are you the good one or the bad one?” Realizing what she just said, Swarm held up her arms in surrender (though, technically, they were pointing down as she was upside-down. “Hey! No reason to get all military on me. I’ll be quiet.” To prove her point, she made the motion of zipping her lips and throwing away her key. Which looked odd upside-down.

The three watched as the other woman dealt with Swarm, Jonas raising a hand, ordering the Marines to stand down. Cutter nodded as he continued speaking to the White Queen, the old man looking back to the two soldiers, calling over the two marines.
"Spartan. Take Allison back to the ship, I think I will be fine with just a normal escort team. I going to need you to assist the commander in organizing our forces and creating an orientation for our situation. If were going to be here for awhile, we might as well it be known to everyone."
Jonas nodded, gesturing to his companion toward the pelican with his head, Allison about to go after Swarm, but her mellowed-out personality judged against it. She wasn't the bad-ass Freelancer she once was. She wasn't a shadow anymore, but a full AI. She was meta-stable, for when she was implanted into the incomplete AI Jonas was assigned to fix, she forced the AI though seven years of processing in a mere hour, at the cost of blowing up a forerunner facility shortly after.
"Let's go. We can talk later." Jonas said, putting a hand on her back, her glowing green eyes looking toward him, nodding slowly. The two headed back to the pelican, Cutter watching the escort fly off toward the ship. He turned his attention back to the White Queen, his two escorts standing next to him as he asked another question.
"So let me clarify this: we are in a universe filled with beings from other universes? How is that possible? I'm no stranger to slip-space travel and the little, but inter-dimensional travel?"

"You're in Genesis. A realm that used to be exclusive to itself like yours until one year ago when the barriers separating our two worlds collapsed bringing all worlds throughout existence here. Either through their realm merging with this one, a dimensional rift opening pulling them in like with you or through the tower over there."White Queen nodded her head over to the colossal tower that overshadowed the city and reached so far up in the sky it stretched up to the clouds. "What caused the barriers to collapse is still a mystery but we believe it was caused by something of extraordinary power. Whether or not they can be restored remains to be seen but we are certain the answer lies in the tower in our possession." "What?" questioned Rain in response to Swarm's question. Did she have an evil twin she didn't know about? "Whatever you're doing, knock it off. You're not Spider-Man." And it was awkward talking to someone who was upside-down like that.

Swarm raised an eyebrow. “Definitely not Spider-Man. It’s not raining and there’s no way in hell I’m going to kiss you. No offense.” But she didn’t want to push the buttons of the person who stood between her and every Halo fan’s dream, so the entire platform rotated, her along with it, until she was standing. Then the platform, with the aid of more ball bearing, turned into what appeared to be a chair of some sort, which she laid back and watching Rain carefully.
“But wait, whether you’re the good or the bad one…” Rain Ocampo still died. In the movies, at least. Tragic, really. Well, not really tragic in Swarm’s opinion, but she had sociopathic tendencies. How many small children giggle when Bambi’s mom dies? “Weird.” So the question was; how far in the Resident Evil storyline was Rain before she got stuck here. Also, were there other characters? There was the White Queen… but what about the- “Psst. Rain. Do you know where the Red Queen is?” Because where there was a White Queen, there had to be the Red Queen.

Cutter looked over to see the giant tower, something he hadn't noticed when they landed the ship in this massive hangar-like structure. He nodded simply as he looked over to see the White Queen's accomplice attempt to take care of the strange girl who was interrupting the meeting.
"Well, I assume as long as we help you along on figuring out how to fix the mess in your world, that we should be able to return to our own, correct?"

Rain escorted Swarm away from the meeting, making a mental note to inquire to her knowledge of the Red Queen and many other things as the White Queen continued her conversation with the others. "I'm afraid it won't be that simple. While the tower has the ability to send you back to your world, because of the ancient languages and symbols found inside it could take up to several centuries to finally learn how to operate it. And there's also a chance you won't have a realm to return to."

"I understand" Cutter said, sighing to himself as the group of soldiers gestured for him to follow them. He followed, his two escorts walking with him, one of them coming up to him with a question.
"Captain, if we can't go home, then what are we going to do? Just sit around and do this city's dirty work for meager pay?"
Cutter looked at him, stopping, a stern look on his face.
"For now, it seems. Message the commander and tell them to prepare to move back into orbit above the city, but not before making preparations for exploratory missions and preparing gear and troops to establish a command center here in the city. If were going to be here for the long haul, then I want to be at home here. Got it?"
"Yes sir."
