Tori alongside her friends Shinta, Nex, Lily and Mary decided to take a stroll together through the streets of Hallowton. They didn't know where June was, or what she was doing, but they trusted that under the protection of the Queen, her castle and Hellsing that whatever she was up to in the town, she was safe. Ever since arriving from Kari the group haven't ventured far outside of the Hellsing estate and saw it fit to correct that by exploring what the city had to offer. This was their first time in Hallowton in their lives and it was time to make the most of it until they could return to Moon Valley. If they could return.
“I'm guessing they don't have a lot of clubs around here, do they?” asked Lily as they walked.
“They don't strike me as the clubbing type,” replied Shinta.
“Or the fun type,” added Nex.
“We could always go to the theater,” suggested Mary.
“Yuck!”
“Agreed.”
“I like the theater...”
“The theater isn't that bad, guys,” said Tori.
“Thank you.”
The five stopped at the center of the town, seeing the castle overhead right as the dual suns in the sky shinned over it, giving it a faint glow around its walls.
“What do you think the Queen is like?”
“I hear she's around our age.”
“I hear she's stuck up.”
“I hear she's hot.”
Everyone glanced at Nex.
“I'm just going by what I heard.”

She needed a break. This work was exhausting despite the smiles she kept up and the seemingly endless energy which kept her going. It honestly was tiresome. So many things fluttered through Wakanda's mind at the moment. Not only was healing wounded tiresome, but so was attempting to dig through people's minds to glance at their memories to put the pieces of the puzzle together. But more than sleep there was one thing the woman needed; food. If nothing else, food could just keep her going. No sleep, just food. What she would do for a steak right now...Pay money. Maybe go hunting. - Did these people even accept Republic credits? Probably not. So hunting it was, wasn't it? Ugh. But she was too tired to hunt. Time to figure something out.
The tired togruta slowly moved away from the district she had been so busily working in, simply in search of food. She paid no mind to the dirt and dust which, despite being only a thin layer, covered her entirely. Sure, a bath would be nice - but that would come after working. Always did. And not like she had a home to do that in. So back to going ahead and finding rivers again. The thought of hunting and finding rivers and lakes to bathe in let the older woman's mind wander back to the wilderness of Shili. She kind of missed it still.
More importantly though, as she walked away from that whole mess, she failed to also realize something else which covered her clothing; blood. Not her own, but blood which had rubbed off on her as she had begun her work on helping the others. Not like she had a change of clothes to be able to just switch into after showering. But honestly, she thought nothing of it at the moment. The only thing her mind wandered to now, after putting it off for so long was indeed food.
Sounded so delicious. Steak. And some ribs. And maybe those things called a hamburger. And maybe an apple or something. And some pork chops. Just like that, any and all other issues had faded away.
Blue eyes slowly wandered around before settling onto the group of five which simply stood there. Maybe they could at least direct her towards finding food or something. Maybe clarify if they would take Republic redits or not. That would make things so much easier.
"Excuse me," Wakanda said softly as she approached the group. "I sorry for bothering, but um. Maybe you can help me?," she paused for a moment not potentially realizing what they could think the issue was considering the blood which decorated the front of her clothing in a particular splatter-like pattern. She reached into one of her pouches and pulled out a few credit chips.
"Do you know ef I can buy food with these? I so hungry, but no know ef they take this here."

"Excuse me."
“Ahh! A poor person. Quick, Mary, do something!”
“What do you expect me to do?”
“I don't know. You Christians are always talking about taking care of the poor. Take care of it.”
Mary looked over at Wakanda apologetically.
“Forgive him. He knows not the dumb things that comes out of his mouth.”
“Hey!”
Shinta and Lily chuckled meanwhile Tori was observing the blood on this person. It didn't look like it belonged to them. In that case, who then? Was she caught up in the earlier attack on Hallowton that ended in a bomb going off? The redhead was interested in finding out more about that if she could. How it managed to get under the radar of all of Hallowton's security was astounding. Those responsible must have really knew their stuff. The people here were right to be concerned about their future.
"I sorry for bothering, but um. Maybe you can help me?"
“What is it? Do you need help finding the hospital?”
"Do you know ef I can buy food with these? I so hungry, but no know ef they take this here."
“What on Genesis is that?”
“Looks like something you'd see in Isafaro or Kari.”
“Hallowton usually accepts gold. We have some coins we could use to get you something to eat, if you want... It might be a good idea to wash off first however.”

Wakanda simply gave a flat stare towards Nex at his reaction to her approach. What a reaction. She was honestly kind of shocked by it. But then again, she was a person so used to living within her own means. However, she eventually shook her head as Mary apologized for her friend, lightly waving her hand to dismiss the matter - even chuckled slightly. She had been the Jedi with the most money collected up, actually. Funny how things turned out.
That chuckle though turned into an actual laugh though as they asked her if she needed help finding the hospital. These people did not know her, perhaps she was wrong to laugh at them for assuming she needed to go to a hospital. Her reputation wasn't known over here, at least not yet. She shook her head at the question concerning the hospital.
However, at their reaction to her credit chips, Wakanda looked down at her hand, studying the credits.
"Where I from, these used for trading. - Uh. Curren...cy? Es the money. They called the credits." Wakanda explained as best she could - honestly, it was the best she could do concerning these things. She was terrible with money things. That was why she had the most of it though back home. If you didn't know how to spend or use the money you received every week as compensation from the Republic, then it was bound to simply remain in one place.
However, her gaze left the credits and she looked down at herself. She was quite the mess, wasn't she? Renon wouldn't have approved. But he generally did not approve of her lack of manners anyway with his first world-mindedness. "Oh." She tugged her robes and held them closed the best she could to hide the blood, dust, and dirt which covered her - well, hiding what was on her clothing at least.
"Et would be nice to eat....Really nice. Yeah." Just like that, she was gone again, her thoughts simply caught up in food for the time being. Roasted akul on an open fire. It just sounded so good. She shook her head.
"Washing off sound be done too. Been busy helping to no do the cleaning. Uh. Do you happen to know place I can? - Sorry. I new to here. I no know much. Just happen to be en wrong places at right time. Heh." Wakanda scratched the tip of her nose as she spoke, simply a nervous tick. "Sorry to be a bother."

"Where I from, these used for trading. - Uh. Curren...cy? Es the money. They called the credits."
“Yeah, Isafaro's currency is called credits too. Although theirs look more like a small transparent computer chip more than anything.”
“What's Kari currency?”
“Caps.”
“Right, right. What was our currency?”
“The dollar. Why?”
“Because I'm about to pop a cap in your ass for a dollar, credit to Allah for my trigger finger!”
“Very nice...”
"Oh. Et would be nice to eat....Really nice. Yeah. Washing off sound be done too. Been busy helping to no do the cleaning. Uh. Do you happen to know place I can? - Sorry. I new to here. I no know much. Just happen to be en wrong places at right time. Heh."
“There's a river south of here where you can wash up. Nex, Mary, you guys go and find us someplace where we can eat. The rest of us are going to escort... I'm sorry I didn't catch your name.”

Blue eyes bounced from person to person as they spoke, occasionally looking beyond them though. If there was one thing she had learned over the time witht he Jedi, it was to watch the surroundings even in what seemed to be a rather peaceful setting. Half of the things they said did not make sense. But hey, there was a place which apparently took credits. That was cool. Maybe she'd get there eventually.
But were caps? Were they like bottle caps? Hm. Interesting. And what was a dollar? She raised a brow though at Nex's words concerning popping caps in inappropriate places for apparently money, and who was he giving money too? This was confusing indeed.
She smiled at the topic being changed again; a river to the south. It sounded nice. It had been a long while since she had last gone bathing in free flowing water, not the ones from pipes and whatnot. It sounded kind of relaxing honestly. However, her eyes widened at the realization that she had not offered her name to these people who had at least been offering to help her.
"Oh! I am sorry. I just...Kind of...Spa-aced? On that. I apologize. My name es Wakanda Mongwau-Sanuye." She offered a quick bow towards the group as she finished speaking, the golden bracelets jingled softly as she did so though the clack of the metal hilt of her saber, hidden somewhere on her - though not visible - could be heard as well.
"I thank you for offer of escort, but do not worry about et ef you have things to do. I would no like to be a burden to you."

“I'm Tori. This is Shinta, Lily, Nex and Mary.”
“It's a pleasure to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you.”
“Yo.”
“Charmed I'm sure...”
"I thank you for offer of escort, but do not worry about et ef you have things to do. I would no like to be a burden to you."
“It isn't a burden at all. Nex, Mary, you two go on ahead and find us a restaurant where we can eat. The rest of us are going to show Wakanda to the river.”
“I see how it is. Pair the Muslim up with the Christian. Although I am against it I cannot deny the plot opportunities.”
“What?”
“Nex, just go with her.”
“I didn't hear the magic words.”
“Do it or I'll pound you.”
“That works.”
Tori shook her head as the pair went off and Tori and the rest started off in the opposite direction for the river.
“Just follow us.”

While their words were exchanged, Wakanda let her eyes dance around betweent them, and still, occasionally looking beyond them. A Muslim? A Christian? Probably just near humans categories. She never could differentiate between a good deal of them. Generally drastically different skin colors - like Zeltrons!- made it easier on her. She tilted her head to the side while listening to them.
Finally, she gave a nod and followed after the three who were attempting to show her the way to this river. A soft jingle accompanied the group as they walked as the golden anklets and bracelets rattled against each other. As she followed them though, Wakanda debated on asking them what the difference was between Muslims and Christians as she could not see a difference between them at all honestly.
Oh. Why not?
"So, uhm. Are you from here? Are you from different places? Es that way et es strange for a...- You say Muslim and Chrisshin to go somewhere together? Es et not normal for that to happen?" Yep. Wakanda was a pro at making small talk.

“This is going to be a long walk,” mumbled Lily.
“Uh... No, actually. We're from Moon Valley.”
“Christian and Muslim are titles for people who follow Christianity and Islam respectively. They're similar in a lot of ways but they tend to be at odds with each other. That said Nex rejected Islam a long time ago. Take what he says with a grain of salt.”
“Oh, but don't tell them they're similar. They'll kill you.”
“What about you? Do you live far from here?”

Wakanda scratched the tip of her nose as she listened to them. Ah, so these were people? Maybe.
"Ah! So they follow people? Or something similar to that?" Nope, she completely missed it by it a lot. But hey, she was trying to understand it. Couldn't get upset with her for trying to understand something complicated like religions of different universes.
She offered a nod at their questions though, her mood seemingly dampening a bit as she did so; "Far, far away from here. Not even this planet. I am not familiar with this planet even, et es beyond our galaxy. Where I lived was a city-planet, Coruscant. Where I was born was a planet called Shili. However, as I said, I think they are far away from this place - en the galaxy I knew." Wakanda sighed softly.
"So tell me, es this planet always like this though? Always seemingly having something happening, usually something bad? Et es like home en that sense, I guess."

"Ah! So they follow people? Or something similar to that?"
“Um, not exactly. Christianity and Islam aren't people, they're a... a set of beliefs, I think is the best way I can describe it without getting muddled down in specifics.”
“They're both a load of crap.”
“Lily!”
“You know I'm right. It's basically two different groups who believe in a magic wizard in the sky and then kill each other over that magic wizard, who is the same exact magic wizard who apparently decided to make different ways to follow him and send you to hell if you pick the wrong one.”
“Russian Roulette,” joked Shinta.
“That's beside the point and you know it.”
"Far, far away from here. Not even this planet. I am not familiar with this planet even, et es beyond our galaxy. Where I lived was a city-planet, Coruscant. Where I was born was a planet called Shili. However, as I said, I think they are far away from this place - en the galaxy I knew."
“It's possible. Our own solar system is still largely unexplored as it is. If you don't mind my asking, how did you land here?”
That would determine if the person was from the same realm or a different one altogether.
"So tell me, es this planet always like this though? Always seemingly having something happening, usually something bad? Et es like home en that sense, I guess."
“Not always. I can't speak for Hallowton but Moon Valley used to be fairly peaceful.”
“When people weren't being attacked by zombies, vampires, and bears.”
“Oh my,” Shinta joked again.
“The occasional attack notwithstanding, while we have never been outside of Moon Valley before now, it was a lot better than it is today. Ever since the realms started to combine and send in creatures from other worlds to this one. Things have been hectic to say the least.”

That made enough sense to Wakanda. Similar to the way people viewed the Force, she supposed.
"Sounds similar to some things at home, to a degree. But at least at home there es a right and a wrong, clearly presented, generally. But no matter. I think you for your esplanashin."
She fell silent for a moment, attempting to recall how she had gotten here while they meandered along. She missed her headhunter. She had gone through a lot of hoops to get that ship and now it was completely ruined. Silly mountain being right there.
"I was near the outer rim of our galaxy and was attempting to drop out of hyperspace when I lost everything on my ship. Finally was dropped from hyperspace, but no idea where. I had some systems online, no much though. Could no find out where I was.
Crashed at a place called...Kari."

“Yeah. Things aren't so black and white here.”

“Outer rim?”
“Hyperspace?”
“We're here.”
Tori, Lily and Shinta came to a stop as they approached the river south of the city. It was abandoned for the most part so there was no worry for any peaking to be done from the bushes except from them. Speaking of which, Tori turned to Lily and Shinta.
“I'm gonna have to ask you two to look away.”
“Awe, come on!”
“I'm gay.”
Tori folded her arms and tapped her foot. Shinta sighed and Lily pouted as the pair turned away while Tori looked over to Wakanda.
“I know it's not much but Hallowton doesn't really have showers.”

Wakanda chuckled softly at their questions and addressed them as she set to removing the brown robe which hid her clothing under it as she had been holding it closed to hide the blood, dust, and dirt on her clothing.
"The outer rim es as et sounds. Es the edges of our galaxy. Well, what we have gone to see of et. Hyperdrive...Es hard to esplain. But, simple enough, move really super fast en the space." Her explanations were the best as far as Wakanda was concerned. She kept her robe over her arm once it was off, showing the silver-blue saber hilt clipped to the sash around her waist. However, that sash quickly was removed and piled onto the ground with all the pouches which had been on it as well. The golden bands from around her montrals were removed and placed onto the ground with the sash and pouches as well, though the anklets and bracelets remained in their places.
And while they discussed looking away, Wakanda honestly cared not. But then again, they did not know she was used to doing this at all. She grew up bathing like this. Even while under the watchful eyes of captors, she had to bathe in such a manner. It hardly bothered her, and that could probably be noticed by her lack of hesitation in preparing to go for a dip. However, it was out of respect for them and her deceased husband that she kept a hint of decency by quickly wrapping her robe around herself once more before she slipped down the bank of the river towards the water.
However, if one had been watching scars decorated her skin. Left over scars around her neck and hands from her childhood. The signs of burns up and down both of the insides of her forearms remained from nights of questionable deeds and energies. And the scars left over from healed wounds of caused by lightsabers could have been seen all over her body.

Tori was the next one to look away. Waiting for Wakanda to finish up before she would look again. While Tori and Shinta kept their backs turned, Lily took a quick peak at Wakanda. Seeing the scars and burns on her body until she covered herself with her robe. Looking back only to earn herself a stomp on the foot by Tori who caught her peaking.
“OW! What was that for!?”
“You know damn well what that was for.”
“Really, Lily... Taking a peak...”
“She ain't got nothing Tori and I don't see every morning in a mirror,” replied Lily. Except for scars and a few burn marks, she added mentally.
