Warning, fuel low. Return to base immediately. Warning, fuel low. Return to base immediately. Warning, fuel low. Return to ba- Despite the voice's pleasant intent, it did get irritating after a few cycles, and after a good fist to the button, it shut up rather quickly. Mynock had powered down a while ago to conserve power, but even that wasn't going to give the X-wing enough to make it to a landing zone. Landing anywhere wasn't going to work either; with the X-wing out of fuel, it'd be useless. The only logical option was to power on through and hope it survived on the glide in.
An engine cut out, and Wedge bucked the stick to keep it from spinning out from the unequal thrust. He quickly deactivated the starboard dorsal engine, and he could feel the air resistance slowing him down even more. The X-wing might be better suited to fly in atmo, but it isn't a glider! I've gotta put down fast so I don't crash! Wedge dove for the city below and pulled up in the last second, firing his repusorlifts hard to stop his descent. The sound it made was an ugly thump and whine of straining engine and sputtering fuel reserves. Despite this last-moment repulsorlift feat, the X-wing still landed badly, and smashed through the ground below. It dragged along the concrete, wedging a landing skid under the ground and popping the port S-foil opening. Wedge took a moment to assess the damage from the inside, but the controls were almost dead and were unresponsive to his commands. Hepopped the canopy and hopped out quickly, looking at the external damage to his fighter. Sithspit! This isn't going to fix easily. I need to find someone from the Rebellion fast. I don't think I need this to be taken by Imperial forces and studied. Mynock! Are you awake? The droid's domed head slowly rotated, a faint whistle emitting from the R2 unit. Just stay there. I'll be back as soon as I can! Drawing his blaster, Wedge started walking briskly away, hoping to find someone, or something, that could fuel his craft and free it from its earthly bounds.

*He had been meditating trying to find ... well someone to keep him entertained when out of the sky he see's something falling. Smirking he decides to investigate however as it descends beneath the taller buildings around him he looses sight of it. He looks for a suitable roof before disappearing in a puff of black wisps before reappearing on top of a rather tall building. He spots the ship just as it dips below more buildings where is finally ... lands? He had recognized it though, it was an x-wing.
He wonders if the others had sent someone else after them and once again disappeared in a wisp of black smoke, reappearing close to the downed vessel. He walks in the direction he thought it had landed, hoping he had gotten close enough to be of some help.
As he rounds a corner he see's someone walking away from the ship dressed in a pilot's outfit holding a blaster. He keeps his saber at the ready in it's usual spot up his sleeve and approaches the man.*
That was some impressive crash there, almost as good as mine.

Wedge pivoted on his heel, blaster pointed at the man. He wasn't about to take any risks about this, especially in his weakened state outside his cockpit. Granted, his fighter was basically a hunk of metal and other composites at this point, but admitting that was not a priority.
Who are you? Are you part of the local government? He looked him over quickly, careful for any sudden movements. But this man was... different. The man walked with a familiar movement. Garik Loran back in his universe had taught him a little bit on recognizing movement patterns, and whereas most people here were completely unfamiliar, this man had something recognizable, even with Wedge's untrained eyes. And why do you walk like you're from my Outer Rim?

It was confusing, really. To see the monotony of every day broken by smoke in the distance. A shopkeeper only did what anyone interested enough would do. A chance to break out of normalcy was so inviting to many, but for Diana, it was necessary. She closed shop. Not like many people here were interested in alchemic tinctures. They made for good medicine, but not many were interested in the spiritual aspect. It was fine for her, as long as she made a few bucks. Research was slow, and she still needed a full stable lab where she could start experimenting. It was fine for now, but still.
Time for thoughts like that could wait until later. Denarius set out to find the origins of the smoke, her belt on. She was prepared for combat, though she had nothing but a metal rod in her hands. It turns out though, that metal rod is more useful than one would expect. Especially in her hands. As she walked forwards, the ground around her changed color. A magic circle formed underneath her feet and began to spread out and grow. In fact, her presence was probably known for before she was even within 40 feet of the group, as the blue seal would quickly cover the ground underneath Wedge within moments.
As Diana did approach however, she smiled and waved to the others.
"So what's THIS, I see?"

*Saneatsu raises one eyebrow when the man asks who he is while his right hand grips his saber due to the blaster now being pointed at him. When he is asked why he walks like he's from this guy's outer rim he shrugs. He realizes that this guy might be from his universe or he might not. He decides to not expose himself as a Jedi lest this guy not be friendly towards them. He keeps his eyes trained on the man's body language just in case. *
Whoa, Whoa I don't know what you mean by that but I mean you no harm. I saw your ship crash and thought I could help. Now just put the gun down before you get hurt.
*When he hears someone else calling out towards them he chances a glance over his shoulder, noticing some seal underneath where he is standing. He feels something but isn't sure quite what it means.*
Super crazy awesome crash, wanted to look, how about you?
*Outwardly his guard is down and there is a toothy grin plastered on his face, however his hand is clenched tightly on his saber now, hidden by his sleeve and his aura is being drawn in, forming a skin tight barrier on him. He also keeps the man and blaster in the corner of his eye, just in case.*

Wedge pivoted, swinging his blaster to the incoming woman. He was not taking any risks from anyone today. Sithspawn. Downed and surrounded. This doesn’t look good. I’d better make nice and not start something. I don’t think I’ve been ID’d as a Rebel yet.
I don’t want any trouble with the Imperials. I’m just looking for food, fuel, and repair. I’m just being cautious with my blaster. I wont fire, just don’t start anything.
Wedge raised his blaster in the air, hanging from a finger while his hands raised.
See? I’m not here to fight. I just need help. Last time I landed here I was in a war zone between two factions. I don’t want to get involved.
It was a lie, but an honest lie at that. He didn’t want to get involved. But he knew he’d had to. He couldn’t live with turning down the opportunity to save those that couldn’t help themselves. And once he found them, they’d have him for whatever they needed.

Already she was being targeted. Diana raised her hands into the air, but continued to approach, albeit slower and more cautiously. Her body relaxed as Wedge removed the blaster's aim at her. Still, worms could look at these two and know immediately that they meant trouble. Maybe not trouble here, but no matter how you look at it, they're trouble. Well, trouble was good. It meant money for her. This other person wasn't much better. She couldn't say for sure, but she felt her own aura tightening around him, as if our little friend here could move his aura as well.
An unarmed woman with two very dangerous men. Oh dear, wh- Oh wait, right. I'm not unarmed. I'm always armed. The field had grown to a considerable size now, spanning across a length of 50 feet. If it wasn't noticed then, it should definitely be visible now, seeing as most of the entire floor around them was now enveloped in blue. Diana lowered her arms and dropped the metal rod, returning the favor of appearing unarmed.
"It seems as if none of us have fighting intent. Then allow me to be the first to exchange pleasantries." She gave a curtsy to both of them... well, a mock one. You can't give a curtsy when wearing these tighter work shorts. "The name is Diana L. Denarius, shopkeeper and repair-girl. I was also interested in the crash and came to investigate." She gave a nod to Wedge and approached the ship, regardless of what the others would do. Diana ran her fingers against the bulky steel. Perhaps they couldn't see from how far they were from her, but sparks were flying in Diana's eyes.
"You said you wanted food, fuel, and repair. Well, I'm not sure about fuel, but as a merchant and... tinkerer... I'm sure we arrange for some sort of exchange. Though... How am I sure you're going to agree? The way you've kept that blaster dangling in your hands, it's seems like you're itching to spin it back against my head. Could a little lady like me get some sort of promise here~?"
Ugh, already she felt sick. They wouldn't buy the act. At least, not the third one. This space traveler seemed to be a little desperate, though. He would listen to whatever she was saying, as long as he got this metal bird flying again. Fascinating, actually. The flying devices of Kankei were dominantly forged from lighter material. What sort of mechanics are concealed within this.... glorious, beast? She felt light-headed thinking about it, delving into the tubings and plates, enveloping herself within the oils, the steel, the sparks~! Oh, yes. We were going to benefit here. He was going to get what he wanted, but he's going to pay, and not just in gold~

*Saneatsu laughs internally as the man says he's been here before. Not even the mercenaries from back home would walk around a known dangerous place with their guns drawn. He is relieved however when the man dangles the gun from his finger as it meant the immediate threat, well the less fun one was over.
The woman however is more interesting. This Diana, he couldn't tell if she really was that innocent or if it was an act.
Probably an act, she has a shop here I doubt she's as helpless or without backup as she seems
Her aura surrounds him though. It feels almost like a surge of the light side and he embraces it, letting it swirl around him. He has to agree though, the man does need help but as long as he has that blaster it doesn't bode well for the outcome here. He decides that for now he should give them a little and see what he gets in return.
He moves a bit so that he's equal distance from both of them.*
Diana was it? Look I doubt he's going to be more trouble, especially if he's afraid of someone finding him. Besides, who the hell would walk around anywhere, especially a potential enemy base with a blaster pointed at everything. He's scared and new here, as am I. I'm Saneatsu Jedi Knight, a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
*He turns to the man, a calm feeling seems to radiate out from Saneatsu.*
Look, your new here, so am I. But do you see me running around pointing weapons at everything? No so just calm down and I'm pretty sure we can help you; though I doubt your x-wing will be going anywhere anytime soon. So just put the blaster away and lets see if she can help you, from the sounds of it she's as bored as I am.
*He doesn't know where this man is from, but he seemed to recognize something about him so he decides to take a chance. Though he had wanted to find his own path, it seems for now the force is still guiding him.*

Wedge could feel the aura entering him. He was not sure what to think of it; it was foreign and completely new to him. And yet, somehow homely. It was not a comfort Wedge needed in a time like this. Mynock lit up and blatted a harsh sound at the girl. The X-wing suddenly powered on and fired its repulsorlifts upwards, but with its landing gear still wedged into the ground, it jerked hard and swung the nose mere centimeters over everyone's head. The X-wing's repulsorlifts fired again, and ripped the landing gear out of the ground, with the pad itself still stuck in the ground. Mynock held the craft 10 meters in the air and opened the S-foils. The sudden move dropped the lower port S-foil beyond the normal location and rendered it useless, but the audio system keyed up to let loose a series of loud blats and spatters of droid chatter. Wedge opened his mouth to yell at Mynock, but paused to listen to what the droid was saying. Mynock says you're generating some strange energy patterns that's interfering with his systems. Is that what this blue is? Before she could respond, though, he looked up, wide-eyed at Saneatsu. A.. Jedi? Here? Did Luke send you to get me?!

*Saneatsu ducks a bit when the x-wing passes over him. He listens as the droid chatters and chuckles as it seems to be a bit annoyed. He hadn't thought the blue light would interfere but droids responded oddly to the force and similar powers.
When he first saw the x-wing he had hoped it was someone from his universe. Now however he isn't so sure. Who was this Luke person and why were they so important.*
I am a Jedi, however I do not know of this Luke. Time seems to be different here, tell me what year was it when you left?

Diana jumped back as soon as the X-wing began moving on it own, seemingly enough. She was more eager now. To find out what fuels this thing, what fuels this world... See how it can work with her, for her. That's a lot of what she did now. Manipulate the world. Isn't that basically just science? Yeah, despite her origins as a spiritual kind of person, she was just a scientist now. But no time for thought like that. Wedge was talking. So it seemed as if her Passive Veil was interfering with the ship. That's even more fascinating. Her energy used was based off mental psionics. Perhaps these machines were more compatible with her work than she had initially expected...
But before she could say anything else, the oddman was already talking with their third person. Something about the Jedi. Name flies around her places, but she doesn't really know much about it. As far as she was concerned, they were all factions in a war, and war meant business. Business, of course, only if she could get her hands on some decent technology. As far as she could nab herself, there wasn't much. Until this guy came in. This man is her ticket around from here. Ticket to money, to science, to power. She has to spend every bit of this moment wisely. Well, wisely enough. She can start by reducing the effect of the Veil at least.
"Blue? So you're talking about my Veil. Alright, let's alter it." She closed her eyes, and the blue of the world around them expanded slightly, turning into a more golden shade. It blended in more with the environment, and its energy should be different from the Tree of Life. Rather than affecting the mind, the current field of Golden Transmutation should cause the body to feel stronger... if only by a little. Diana nodded, and approached the X-wing again.
"Is that better? If you give me some lead as to what needs to be repaired, I can actually get on it right now. I can't replace full parts, of course. But I can start fixing up some of the damaged bits right now."

Wedge frowned. To not know Luke, yet know an X-wing? Something was amiss with this "Jedi". It was almost like not knowing Palpatine killed the Jedi. Luke Skywalker, hero of the Rebellion and founder of the New Jedi Order. Imperial or Rebel, everyone knows his name.
He looked up at Mynock and scowled, eyes assessing the increased damage to the fighter. His body, however, suddenly felt different again. Stronger, less stressed. Something he rarely felt in a situation such as this. His head snapped to the ground to see the gold underglow. Obviously there was more at work here than the Force. And not knowing what only but Wedge more on edge. Unknowns like that can change the scope of everything.
Mynock rotated the X-wing slowly, playing the targeting computer on both people. Despite Wedge's calm, Mynock was no brave droid. It could detect something was wrong in the area, but whatever it was didn't directly interfere with the X-wing or the socketed droid. Its pilot, though, gave off unusual readings in comparison to the norm. The sensors angled ground-ward to try to interpret what this strange field was doing to the X-wing, and more importantly, Wedge.

*Saneatsu Scowls. He had heard that name before, the twins had mentioned him a few times, but they were from another universe. He however see's the x-wing pointing towards them and something about that didn't sit well. He ignores it for now when he see's wedge look down. He had noticed a change but since it didn't feel bad he didn't care. However now he had to wonder just what powers this woman held.*
It seems that the universe I am from is not the same as yours. As odd as that sounds I do remember hearing about a Luke, there were twins who fell through a crack in between universes. They spoke of the Jedi being slaughtered and Palpatine taking over. However it seemed that the time periods between the two dimensions were different as we seemed to be in the past. We were able to take measures to prevent that from happening in our universe.
I am sorry if that confuses you but I assure you that the universe I am from the Jedi and the Republic are strong and well and there hasn't been an Empire Since Exar Kun.
Now the real question is why is that ship pointed at us? If the intent is to fire should we be deemed enemies, I would not recommend it. You don't know what is damaged and on that note should it really be flying?
*He was quite worried about the ship being damaged and the damage it could cause. Not that it mattered much to him, but he wasn't in the mood to have something explode right in front of him, at least not without it being caused by him. His aura pushes out slowly, forming a skin tight barrier. He also prepares to evacuate the three of them from the area lest the ship explodes.
He turns back to Diana, wondering what her opinion was.*
Now the real question is do you think it should be flying in it's condition? If not I can transport it to your shop no problem. I'd just need to see it first.

While the others were talking about... Apparently it had to do with some sort of quantum physics theory about alternate worlds and universes. Makes sense to her. One came from the past before or during an event , while the other is from one of the possible futures from after an event. It's rather confusing how it all goes, and really mankind should only stick to their original place of birth, in her opinion. Keep the natural flow of energy in the universe actually stable. Then again, as someone who made a living investigating new worlds within the empty mass that was nearby her world... she really doesn't have authority to speak like that.
Instead, she had authority to think and speak of the giant ship. Even now, it seems as if her field was still affecting the ship. Perhaps, ever since she got more interested in electric fields, her energy abilities can now alter energy currents by small amounts? It seemed unlikely, though. After all, her power could only alter what she understood, and the merchant had far to go before she could manipulate the more pure energies that came with electricity and plasma. At least, with her mind. If she could get a machine, it would probably be easier. Long story short, her aura is probably affecting more things on a spiritual level... fascinating, a machine that can detect that...
She snapped out of her trance of staring at the X-wing while thinking when Saneatsu interjected. Diana turned to him and nodded. "By all means! The sooner we can get it into a controlled environment with my tools of trade, the sooner it will be fit and ready, and the sooner we can get to food, lodgings, and payment! Ah, and it seems my Aura is only making the ship even more uneasy. My ability is not that strong yet, so... if there's any way of calming this ship down, please do so. I could not harm anything at this current moment, be it human or automaton."

Wedge looked at them both for a moment, then sighed almost defeatedly. He reached into his right leg pocket and pulled out his comlink, and keyed it up.
Mynock, land the ship. They're not going to hurt you.
Mynock obviously hesistated. The X-wing just hovered, rumbling in the air, unmoving aside from a faint bob. Mynock's dome slowly rotated to look at Wedge, then it whistled a mournful tone. the X-wing's S-foils closed as best they could, and the ship lowered to the ground. Because of the damage from the landing and the movements, the X-wing tipped on its left wing and started leaning on the broken S-foil. Mynock wailed hopelessly at the damage.
Wedge sighed again and looked back at the others. This was one interesting way to greet people. Stress and nervousness included, this predicament he landed in was not what he wanted to have. Not after the time he was gone>
Let's... get my ship to your garage. Mynock wont be a problem, the power is too low and the fuel's even lower. I only have credits for money though. I don't think they'll do for payment. What is it you had in mind?
