Practice Makes Perfect [Open]

Alrighty, so he was able to prevent himself from being tossed into the air like a balloon. No matter! He had other tricks up his metaphorical sleeves! He saw the black electricity coming, and dipped lower in a last minute dodge. The magic soared over his head. One of the humans tried to punch the suit of armor, only to end up screaming. Idiot. Never punch a possessed suit of armor. He learned that the hard way back in the Ghoul Realm. Instead of making another twister, he opted for air blades instead, swinging his wings in great arcs to have the crescent shapes shoot forward with deadly accuracy. This could cut through armor, natural or not, so it could work.

Would it work? Well, it seemed to be impervious to fire, so the chances of it being immune to blades of air was pretty likely.

[Merida]

Merida swore loudly--god her mother would kill her for that--and was rescued just before the blade could cut her in two. Right, her weapons were useless against that thing. Looks like it was up to that other thing to save them. "Toree! Is there anythin' we can use against that?"

Nightmare was becoming tired of the humans’ attempt to hurt him, only few had been able to truly hurt him and they all possessed some power that countered his Soul Edge. However the red armoured warrior was the one that posed a real threat at the moment, he could always kill the humans after he was done with him as he swatted Nex away with his hand when the boy attacked him sending him flying through the air. The warrior then brought out blades as he attacked him, the slices hit Nightmare as his eyes widened, it seemed to have penetrated his armour a little as he growled, ”Not bad…not bad at all,” he said as he gripped Soul Edge tighter and swung it towards Raal intending to take him out in one great swing.

[Ayen]

"Toree! Is there anythin' we can use against that?"

Merida's answer came with a loud “BANG!” as Shinta had came back outside of the house and towards Nightmare armed with a Winchester 1300 Speed Pump shotgun and began open firing on Nightmare while he was fighting Firebrand once he got at a close enough range. Nex flew through the air from Nightmare's throw and hit the ground hard. Tori quickly ran over to his side and helped him back up to his feet before addressing Merida, “There must be a weak spot in his armor somewhere. If not, we'll have to find a way to get that weapon away from him.”

“Tori, are you nuts? That sword is like a second Kasul. It's dangerous!”

“Do you have a better idea?”

“First, we learn to live with the nightmares and in time set aside our differences.”

“I heard enough. Nex, Merida, help Shinta distract him. Once he lets his guard down I'll close in and try to disarm him.”

[Raal]

Woah! Big sword! VERY big sword! Firebrand flew a bit higher, not wanting to be swatted out of the sky. He liked to live, thanks! The gargoyle demon, still wearing the Crest of Air, spat forward more air blades, realizing that it actually annoyed the demonic armor. Ahahaha! That's right, focus on Firebrand! He felt a bit smug, getting the armor's attention. Bring it on!

"That's right, you're not bad yourself. It is a shame that I have to dispose of you! You would have been a worthy rival!"

After chucking more air blades forward, he followed up with another dust devil, hoping to fling the armor into the sky so he could make mince meat out of him. He knew the humans wanted to help, but he also knew that if they did, they would be cut into cubes. This was something he wasn't going to allow. He saved the humans once before. He was going to continue that.
