Jehanne leaped backward through the air and out of reach of Kasul, swinging her own long sword to strike the now exposed hands of the Crimson Devil in the midst of her slashes.

The blade slashed right through her hands and Kasul was sent flying through the air penetrating the ground upon its landing. Now disarmed the Crimson Devil narrowed her eyes at Jehanne a new found hatred burning for the Warrior-Knight as blood dripped against the sand from her hands before she made a run for it towards the fallen demon blade.

"It's over!"
Jehanne blocked Ranko's path and the Empress found herself right in the receiving end of the Warrior-Knight's blade, swinging the sword downward twice from the left and right diagonally, then upward twice in similar fashion and finally a single thrust running the blade through her chest while charging up power and releasing an energy blast through the blade that went off the second the half-devil was run through.

"It's over!"
There was no avoiding the sword strikes as Jehanne was able to match Ranko's speed before and now she had surpassed it. The blade sliced through her body and finally ran her through; the energy blast tearing open a large hole in the half-devil's chest her body collapsing into the desert's sand hard. Weak. Ranko turned her head and looked over to Kasul which was so very far away. Her hand reaching out for it even now as she was nowhere near capable of reaching it.

Jehanne sheath her sword and proceeded over to where Kasul was now stuck into the ground. She wrapped her right hand around the hilt of Kasul and in a single instance the blade responded, latching around her hand beginning the process of draining her soul. However to its surprise Kasul would find Jehanne standing there unphased by the demon blade's power. Finding the strength to break through the gravitational seal and lift the blade up without Kasul's consent. Walking back towards the wounded Empress and pressing a foot against her side to keep her still. Her eyes gazing down into the crimson orbs of the half-devil one final time before raising Kasul overhead and then bringing it down to Ranko's neck.

Ranko tried to move still refusing to accept defeat as she watched Jehanne grab Kasul. She must have had a death wish. The Crimson Devil observed the exchange, expecting to see the battle won as Kasul devoured the woman's soul. But that didn't happen. Ranko's eyes would widen at the sight of Jehanne lifting up Kasul despite the gravitational seal and the soul absorption abilities and walk over to her. Holding her down with a foot now blinded by the azure glow from her eyes. Ranko knew it was over here and now hearing the screams of the demon blade fill her mind before it was forced against its wielder and the soldiers watching looked on in awe as they bore witness to the death of the Crimson Devil at the hand of her own sword.

Jehanne grabbed a fistful of the woman's hair and lifted up her head above her own for all the soldiers on hand to see, just as she said she would. The Warrior-Knight released her grip on Kasul and allowed it to drop down to the ground by the half-devil's now headless body while Jehanne made sure not one man or woman under Ranko's banner missed the sight of their leader's head in the enemy's hand. She had done on her own what entire nations were unable to do. Slay the giant of the desert and the underworld.
Jehanne dropped Ranko's head and then turned her sights back on Kasul, sensing the demon blade's pain as all it could do in the face of being used was watch the master it had come to know, respect, and even love, be taken from it yet again. And there was nothing it could do about it.
"You mourn for her."
She brought her right hand back to the hilt of the sword at her waist and drew it once more now holding it in both hands.
"Don't worry. You'll be joining her!"
Jehanne plunged her sword into the demon blade, the metal clashed and in the next moments to pass a bright light erupted from Kasul as every soul it had devoured through the years were released. Kasul screaming inside the mind of Jehanne and all the soldiers there to witness the event as another impossibility was presented before them. The souls shot up into the air, dancing around the blue ring of fire that still burned brightly by the side of the battlefield as all that remained of the once proud demon sword forged in the fires of the Netherrealm was a piece of scrap metal. The sentient being inside the blade loss. Joined in eternity with the Crimson Warrior.

Kaso the Black Knight and Alexander looked at each other from the backs of their camels and then returned their gaze to Jehanne. The soldiers behind them were in awe and couldn't move a muscle in their bodies. They had witnessed Ranko come out on top against some of the strongest of warriors Jherra had to offer, even surviving an encounter with The End. To see her be bested by another and slain by her own sword was beyond their comprehension. None of them could believe what they just bore witness to.
Kaso and Alexander jumped down from their camels and approached the battlefield, drawing their blades and then charging forward. They would not allow this loss to go unpunished. They were determined to acquire vengeance for the woman they had sworn loyalties to years ago, for the woman they saw as their friend. Neither one would kneel before Jehanne. Neither one would call her Empress. They both raised their blades, Kaso holding a long sword while Alexander a saber, and then swung them downward in a vertical slash at the unknown Aircanian.

Jehanne sheath her sword again and turned around to see Kaso and Alexander moving towards her. Bringing both her hands over her shoulders and pulling out the twin blades, spinning them slowly around in her hands and then swinging both blades upward, left going left and right going right as they collided with the steel of Kaso and Alexander's swords.

Their eyes bore into the Warrior-Knight, observing the skyblue energy that coursed through her iris and leaped off to her hands and blades as they pulled their swords back and swung at her lower body.

The Warrior-Knight blocked low and then delivered a kick into the chest plate of Alexander to knock him back a couple of feet giving her time to assault the larger of the two. Leading in with her right-hand blade and then following up with a second slash with the left, spinning around to his side and remaining out of range of his blade while furiously hacking and slashing against the bigger man building up momentum and then releasing a dual swing with enough power to blast him backward through the air and into the ground.

Kaso wasn't used to taking heavy damage while in his armor. After all this was the man who withstood a tank's cannon point blank and didn't so much as buckle and here he was now not only taking damage but having his chest plate blown off by the power behind Jehanne's blows revealing the chainmail underneath and the cold undead flesh that the blades penetrated before being dropped down on his ass. Meanwhile Alexander recollected his footing and came around to Jehanne rear to grab her and bring the saber up to her throat to slit it.

"Freak."
Alexander made a terrible mistake sneaking up behind the woman. All she had to do was spin around and slash the arms that came to grab her with the first blade then aiming the second blade to slice open the knight's exposed skull.

Alexander moved back to avoid getting his hands slashes and then held up his saber to block the strike for his head while Kaso got back up to his feet and struck his blade towards Jehanne's shoulder.

Sliding a foot backward against the desert's sand Jehanne turned with her sides facing both warriors now, the twin blades parrying both knights' weapons where she stood in-between them.
