Seeing that Jehanne was finally on the run Ranko wasted no time taking the advantage, putting more power and speed behind her blows as the sword's reach made it to where Ranko only had to move so many steps at a time. Kasul appearing as nothing more than flashes of black through the air as the Crimson Devil came at Jehanne with a combination of vertical and diagonal strikes.

Jehanne parried the strikes matching Ranko blow for blow. That alone would be enough to send warning flares to both the Crimson Devil and Kasul as no human should have been able to match her strikes like this. Out maneuver perhaps but not matched in such a way. And yet here she was, picking up speed alongside Ranko as she leaped back leading them both directly into the path of a sandstorm.

The flares came when Kasul could sense Jehanne's soul switching between human and superhuman. A superhuman would have been no surprise as Ranko had battled them before in the form of Drake White and Ayanna Kaktas. But this one kept changing, as if there was something deep down inside empowering her when needed at the last second in short bursts. But neither Ranko nor Kasul could pinpoint the exact power source. Instead they could only stay on the attack leaping forward after Jehanne and launching two quick horizontal strikes with Kasul while paying no mind to the sandstorm that now engulfed them.

She met the first horizontal slash with a vertical strike followed up by pushing the sharp edge of her blade against Ranko's, smoothly running the fingers of her free hand up the blade while pushing against it, her blade pressing up against the Kasul now challenging the Crimson Devil to a battle of strength.

Ranko wasn't able to ignore a challenge, especially when it was directly in her face beckoning her in such a way. Her pride wouldn't allow it either. Ranko gripped both of her hands tightly around the hilt of Kasul while pushing the blade up against Jehanne's determined to overpower her no matter how much strength she had at her disposal.

Sparks flew across the metal of the two blades while the sandstorm blew pass them violently. Her fingers at the center of her own blade now disregarding the sparks as she put more strength behind her push looking to over power the Crimson Devil in front of her army and shatter her pride in the process.

Kasul's aura began to grow more brightly between the two as the Crimson Devil called on the power of the souls in its possession from over five-hundred years of soul absorption, if not more. There was no doubt that if Kasul was a vampire it would be one of the strongest in existence for the souls it had in its possession. All of them began empowering Ranko giving her the strength of gods, angels, devils, vampires and the world's strongest humans. They all pushed Kasul against the woman's blade at once looking to overpower the knight and end this duel in one fatal swing of the sword.

Jehanne felt the power radiating off of the most feared demon blade in Jherra, the very blade that used to keep her up at night as a little girl after hearing the elders speak terrible stories about it. It was funny but being in its presence like this Jehanne was no longer afraid. Not only that but she had no fear of death. Dying once had already removed it. The knight felt the strength that grew in Ranko and soon felt herself being pushed back but in that same moment the azure glow in her eyes started to spread over her entire body; her own strength reaching unprecedented heights as she met the full extent of Kasul's power and resumed pushing onward against it.

Ranko couldn't believe her eyes, she didn't want to believe it. She had put all of her strength mixed with the strength of every soul in Kasul plus its own, and it STILL wasn't enough to overpower the woman in front of her. Ranko knew that the warriors from Aircano were some of the strongest humans in Jherra, their will backed further by the power of their god Lord Yahweh. But Lord Yahweh was dead and the time of the gods in Jherra were over. Where was she getting this kind of power? It was certainly by no mortal means, that was for certain as Ranko had no choice but to say to hell with her pride and back off. The mixed of red and blue auras being the only thing the soldiers could see from outside the sandstorm as Ranko undid her ponytail and removed the red jacket from her back unveiling the sleeveless black shirt underneath. Sweat beginning to pour down her face as she returned to her guard.

The sandstorm would pass and Ranko's men would find their Empress fatigue while Jehanne hasn't so much as broken a sweat in the conflict. Some of them probably even took pleasure in seeing their Empress with her hair down and sweating in such a way. Jehanne made no advance as she wanted to let the realization settle in on her enemy her blade back up near her shoulder as the azure glow mostly faded away only leaving a faint glow around her hands and of course her eyes was as bright as the sun up above them drawing down heat through the desert. Its ray now shinning on Jehanne as her armor glowed in the light.
"Tired already?" mocked Jehanne. "Don't worry. Soon fatigue won't be an issue."

Ranko learned to ignore cheap talk a long time ago. It helped having a little sister who enjoyed using her mouth. Keeping her distance the Crimson Devil suddenly brought Kasul crashing down into the ground sending a powerful shockwave towards Jehanne that sent sand flying into her vision to blur it. Whatever Jehanne went to do in response was irrelevant, this move was only to mask the in-coming fast lunge as the tip of Kasul aimed to pierce through her armor and impale her chest. All Kasul needed was to make contact to begin the process of devouring the warrior's soul. Perhaps then they will know where Jehanne's strength came from.

Most would have moved away from the shockwave but if there was one thing Jehanne had proven in this fight it was that she were far from normal. The Warrior-Knight met the shockwave head on and in a shocking display she endured that and the desert sand in her face before seeing the Stinger. Moving to her right and then bringing her sword up to do exactly what she said she would. Behead the Desert Empress.

The Crimson Devil crouched down under the enemy's blade, moving her own sword like it was a part of her body as she avoided the attempted beheading and them came back up with a powerful uppercut slash that would send Jehanne hurling into the air which would then be swiftly followed by a lightning fast combination of sword strikes while the two were airborne.

Jehanne was knocked up into the air and felt the wind course through her body and welcome it while the half-devil launched herself up into the sky in pursuit. The Warrior-Knight parried the strikes that came and then spun her body allowing herself to land perfectly on her feet like a cat back on the ground. Meeting Ranko with an upward slash of her own meant to cut her in two the second gravity brought the Desert Empress back down to her.

Ranko held Kasul overhead while Jehanne landed and being in perfect position to meet the Warrior-Knight's sword as she landed with a devastating downward swing causing the ground around them to erupt like a large explosion went off, kicking up dust around the two. Ranko slid Kasul up Jehanne's sword and arms to unleash a large abundance of sword strikes at breakneck speeds to obliterate the woman where she stood.
