"Dancing is an art, and a lovely way for stress relief. You should consider learning a few steps, Alucard." He chuckled quietly and raised his eyebrows.
"But of course... You don't seem like the dancing type. A shame, really..." He leaped backward, seeming to fly to the top of the nearest building. He stood there, raising the demon sword to look at it curiously. To think the weapon had absorbed
these four in its earliest years... He wasn't sure whether to laugh at the choices of release, or to marvel. Why might he find it amusing? Because he had met these four personally once before. And they were far from the best choices the sword could have summoned. But who knew? Perhaps these great oafs had gained abilities since their absorption. Or preferably, brains...
Sebastian shifted the fuschia gaze to where Alucard was engaging the demons, his guns so obviously not affecting the bodies. These demons were not solid, the bullets simply passed through the massive figures. And of course... Alucard had a trick up his sleeve to counterattack what the demon sword had thrown his way. The butler raised his eyebrows at what happened then, unable to conceal that he was impressed by this new enemy. The purple energy swallowed
one of the four ancient demons, and an indignant roar rose up above the thunderous noise.
"ASSHOLE!!!" It shrieked, then stepped out of the purple moments later; brandishing its weapon furiously.
"YOU TRYING TO DESTROY ME?!" It seemed a bit dizzy at first, but shook its great head violently before squinting at the massive thing which stood before them. It seemed this demon was having trouble with its vision... Sebastian was already struggling not to laugh at the choice of defenders the demon sword had chosen.
"EACH OF YOU SHALL BE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE ABYSS! EACH OF YOU SHALL SERVE MY ARMY!"That was apparently something which the four ancients were completely unable to process; or simply chose not to. Which one it was, Sebastian just didn't know...
The one who had been struck suddenly let out another roar,
"OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT?!" It seemed it had only just brought the Keeper into its line of sight.
The
second demon stared at the first, narrowing its eyes and raising its own sword; snarling in return;
"THE HELL'S YOU'RE PROBLEM?! YOU NEVER SPEAK OF THAT THING AS YOUR OWN!""HE'S HUGE!" The words of the second demon had gone unheard; or the first simply didn't give a damn, which was the more likely reason.
The
third demon realized it had been staring up at the Keeper with its mouth hanging open and looking like an idiot; utterly dumbfounded. It snapped its fiery jaws shut, the added its own shriek;
"WHAT'S A BOOK?""WHY ARE WE ALL YELLING?" The
fourth demon roared, armored husk dull and lacking in luster.
"BECAUSE WE'RE BIG AND BADASS, THAT'S WHY! AND DO WHAT WHATEVER THE HELL WE WANT!" "BUT HE'S BIGGER!""I THOUGH IT WAS BECAUSE WE'RE SENILE AND HARD OF HEARING!""BITCH, FUCK YOU! YOU'RE THE OLDEST ONE HERE!!!" The fire-covered demon lashed its great tail; spreading flames around it and sending yet more buildings to the ground.
By this point, Sebastian had rested his fingertips against his head, fighting against the silent laughter; and skepticism spreading across his features.
"Of all the demons it manged to devour... It had to chose these four..." No, these idiots hadn't changed at all since he last met them. They didn't stand a chance against the Keeper, not as far as he could tell. What the hell was this demon sword doing, bringing back these four? Perhaps it was the sword who was becoming senile, and unable to think for itself clearly anymore. Either way, it seemed there was a great deal of entertainment in store. What other things would this aged sword he held try to do? Whatever respect Sebastian had sheltered toward the demon sword, he was losing it rapidly. At this rate, he was considering simply tossing it aside and taking matters into his own hands.
