“You've already violated the Prime Directive by being here. There are other space-faring people here, who probably detected your uncloaked ship. I've heard of ships from Earth that match nothing you have. So you have nothing to fear.”
“That was an accident! We were dragged here by a spatial abnormality. We haven't willingly intervened in the lives of the surrounding culture, not in the way you'd have us do. I won't do it.”

Accident or no, it happened. You've unquestionably been detected. Your Prime Directive is worthless here, too. Whole universes are colliding here. So many technologies and magics beyond your capabilities that frolic without any control. Things are going to go crazy here soon. If you adhere to your Directive, it will be the doom of you and your crew, and I wont be bothered at all.

“You know we're ready to die to adhere to the Prime Directive. What little we can salvage .”
“Captain! Do you read?”
Yalea pressed her combadge.
“I read you loud and clear.”
“An unidentified ship is approaching.”
“Hold your positions I'll be right up.”
“Yes, Captain.”
Yalea pressed on her combadge again to end communications.
“We'll finish this later.”

Q smirked the com chatter. This was precisely what he had said. The silly little Miranda-class vessel was floating over a planet that literally was the exception to the Prime Directive. Q walked almost aimlessly away from the Captain, and spun on a heel.
Oh, I'm sure we will. I'll be watching the entire time, you know. Your ship is about to meet one of the few space-worthy things here, and your Prime Directive will be shattered right in front of your eyes.
Q smirked and snapped his fingers, bringing the Captain and himself into the bridge.
Oh, and don't stay directly in front of it. Just a suggestion.

Yalea opened her mouth to speak but before she could she already found herself on the bridge of the Midori, Q sitting right by her side as she looked over to the other officers on the bridge. Her eyes then moving over towards the viewing screen to the ship heading their way.
“Oh, and don't stay directly in front of it. Just a suggestion.”

Q's warning would be explained in the form of a massive railgun now aimed towards the Midori. The ship was similar to the Novalith Cannon that Zee Captain had used in the past and died in. But this one was larger, possessing warp capabilities like the Starship in front of them and plenty of room for other weapons to be fired in addition to the railgun itself. If the ship scanned it they would recognize some similarities in its weapons, such as the phaser banks and photon torpedoes. The armor was a thick layer of metal and extremely hard to penetrate making shields a non issue. The ship was painted black with the vulture insignia colored in crimson painted on the side. The Vulture ship then hailed the Midori and awaited for the others to either open up a channel or deny.

Q smiled widely at the ship, sitting perfectly contentedly in his chair.
Everything was going exactly as planned.
The ball is in your court, my dear.

“Captain, we're being hailed.”
“The ball is in your court, my dear.”
“On screen.”

They accepted. Vulture Bridge officers were disappointed. They had hoped to immediately get pulled into a battle so they can see what this baby could do. Though from the size of the enemy ship they didn't expect a battle to last long, but entertainment was entertainment to them. The viewing screen on the Midori would connect to the bridge and they'd be shown a close up of the Red Queen, looking at them with cold red holographic eyes as she spoke.
“You are in Vulture's space. Lower your shields and prepare to be boarded or we will destroy your ship.”

Q stood up from the chair with a single clap, and a small laugh came out.
Well, Captain, you can't fight off a ship of that size. What will it be?

“You are in Vulture's space. Lower your shields and prepare to be boarded or we will destroy your ship.”
“Well, Captain, you can't fight off a ship of that size. What will it be?”
“My name is Captain Yalea Emris of the USS Midori. We come in peace. We were stranded here after a spatial abnormality pulled us into it. We mean neither you nor your planet harm.”
It was strange talking to an AI in place of an actual person but it was still better than The Borg. The Q in the ear certainly didn't help matters.

“Irrelevant. Lower your shields and surrender your ship.
You will comply!”
There would be no reasoning with the machine. Already the massive railgun was starting to charge up its energy, ready to unload a massive wave of it towards the Midori to tear it in half in one shot. Already anticipating evasive maneuvers to get to its side where it would then make proper use of its secondary weapons to keep the ship on the defensive and then blast it the second it was within firing range of the railgun.

“Irrelevant. Lower your shields and surrender your ship.
You will comply!”
“Do you make a habit of threatening innocent people often?”
“Captain! They're charging up their railgun,” said the tactical officer.
“Red alert! All hands to battle stations!
The lights turned red and the familiar sound of the alarm rang out throughout the ship as each deck prepared for battle.
“Raise shields and turn weapons online.”
“Yes, Captain. Shields are up to 100% and weapons are online.”
“Take us away from the railgun,” she said to the flight controller.
“Yes, Captain.”
The ship moved to the left, their weapons prepared for the secondary weapons of the enemy's ship as they got out of range of the vessel's main weapon.

The choice was made and Yalea chose the wrong one. Red Queen cut communications with the Midori and released the charge up blast from the railgun, exploding an in-coming asteroid resulting in the shards of it flying in the direction of the Federation ship while firing phasers into the openings where the ship would have gone through to evade the pieces of the asteroid now being used against them.

“Fire phasers!”
The Midori blasted its way through the pieces of the asteroid that came dangerously close to hitting it, barely avoiding the phasers while other pieces of the asteroid hit their shields, shields continuing to hold as they pass the asteroids and moved to the side of the enemy ship.
“You enjoying this, Q? Who are these people? Why do they attack us?”
