Magoichi was outside the Hellsing mansion, in their training ground to be precise, cleaning her weapons. It had become a routine job for her everyday, and it was one that she enjoyed immesnely, she couldn't count the number of times where men had fallen because they did not clean their weapons properly. These were not just mere objects to be used and then discarded, though in retrospect she had discarded countless revolvers in an effort to stem an enemy force, but objects that should be taken care of carefully, without these guns a Saika soldier would just be an ordinary soldier.
More so for the red haired gunwoman, guns were an integral part of her fighting style, without them she would be helpless before an enemy. She remembered the past, long ago, when she had been aided by the previous Magoichi Saika, where he had taught her all there was to know about guns and how to fight with them. She had adored him because he was her savior, the one that saved her from the chaos that gripped the land, when he died her heart broke and there was time she thought she would not be able to live without him.
But she became stronger, stronger then before, all for his sake. All to continue his dream of making the Saika Renegades the strongest force in all of Japan. Even though she might not be able to go home now, she still wanted people to remember who the Saika Renegades were even if that meant she would be the only member representing that faction. She smiled to herself as she finished cleaning her revolvers, and then moved on to her machine gun.

Mey Rin came out onto the training ground, looking forward to her first sniping practice session since coming to this new world. She did not know what she was doing, what things she was allowed to use as target, if there was a target projectile machine, or where she'd be able to get more ammo if she ran out. Why didn't I ask more questions? "Training ground at the end of the first 'all on the left, be sure to get in some practice before dinner, if possible," but does 'e even tell me what sort 'a facil'ties they got in 'ere? She saw someone in the training ground cleaning her weapon. She wondered if she'd let her borrow her cleaning supplies, or tell her where'd she'd be able to get some... but more importantly, "Pardon me, miss, would you mind telling me where I might find the loo?"

Magoichi had noticed that someone else had come to the training grounds, having a sharp instinct and feeling was key to fighting in a battle, it had saved her many times and the enemy had always paid dearly for trying to sneak up on her. A soldier who was lax with his guard was as good as dead, therefore Magoichi always made it a point to always be on her guard even when she was surrounded by her own men, the newcomer then asked her where the loo was, she supposed she meant the toilet as Magoichi looked up.
She saw a young girl with red hair and wearing glasses wearing clothes similar to Sebastian, perhaps she came from the same world as himself, that didn't matter much to Magoichi. "Over there," Magoichi said pointing to the direction of the loo as she clicked her machine gun shut as the ammo was inserted in, "I haven't seen you before...are you a new person?" Magoichi asked casually.

"Oh, yes, I just got 'ere. Came through a portal or some such, I was just goin' out for a grocery run and now I can't get back 'ome... don't suppose you've ever 'eard of London? Or... Europe, for that matter...?"
Mey Rin hoped this woman would not become annoyed with her, with all the questions she had. For one, she was clearly an fellow gun fanatic. Also, being from around here, she could tell her more about this place, what the politics were like and such, and of course she needed to ask if there were weapons she could use, whether for practice or when carrying out orders -- she only had the two pistols she had with her when she came here. All these thoughts were causing her to look confused but also excited, both lost and intent.

Through a portal? Then it was the same for Magoichi, it meant that this girl was taken from her place and put here, for someone that was out of her world she was taking this remarkably well. Then again Magoichi didn't know how long she had been in this world, for all she know she could have been here for months and had gotten used to the situation, "It was the same for me, a portal simply took me from my men and placed me here, it was a good thing I found Hellsing and offered my services to them, not that I couldn't have found more jobs if I wanted to, but Hellsing seems honourable and strong," Magoichi commented.
Europe? London? Both of those places were unfamiliar to her, she had never heard of them before, she assumed those were places that the young woman was familiar with, "No, I'm from Japan," Magoichi said as she looked at the woman, "my name is Magoichi Saika, what is yours?" she asked.

Mey Rin's ears wiggled. "Japan?! I know Japan! I've been there! My first assignment as a sniper was in Japan. You're from the same planet as me, yes you are! You never 'eard of Europe? Don't you know the continents of your own planet? 'ave you 'eard of Asia?
"My name is Mey Rin," Mey Rin held out her hand. It's a pleasure to meet you, Magoichi!"Then Mey Rin grew crestfallen, "I take it there's no way 'ome, is there?"But then, quickly perking up, "I'm quite lucky, though, I met another person 'ere who I actually worked with back 'ome! Small world, yes? Er, universe... I suppose it's possible other people I know could wind up 'ere, if both of us did!"

Magoichi was genuinely surprised that Mey Rin had been to Japan before, she didn't think that Japan would allow outsiders or that Japan had been discovered by other nations. However in retrospect Magoichi knew that it was only a matter of time before Japan was discovered, there was already one foreigner that had arrived in Japan before, the so called founder of Xavism, an annoying religion that Magoichi truly had no idea why on Earth anyone would follow such a religion.
However Magoichi was more interested in Mey Rin's occupation as a sniper, "Oh so you know your way around a weapon? That is interesting, I was led to believe that only men would be able to handle weapons, though in truth I'm the only woman that has ever been able to handle the weapons," Magoichi said, "and that was only because my former mentor taught me before he-" she then stopped for a moment before not saying anything more on that matter.
"No there is no way back home, I've been looking for a way back, but have yet to find one," Magoichi replied as she then looked at Mey Rin, "you are quite lucky then, at least you have someone you can talk to, do you mind telling me who it is? Perhaps I know the person," Magoichi said.

Mey Rin was crestfallen on hearing there was no way to get back home, especially from someone who claimed to have tried. "If there's no way 'ome, well, then it is a good thing I 'ave someone 'ere from there. 'e's Sebastian, yes 'e is, the butler!" She smiled. "An' yes, of course I know 'ow to use a weapon. It's true, there aren't many women 'o know 'ow to use 'em, but it's not that 'ard. It does take some learnin'. Some practice, of course. Though it's not really that un'eard or for a woman to know 'ow to fire a gun, is it?"

"If there's no way 'ome, well, then it is a good thing I 'ave someone 'ere from there. 'e's Sebastian, yes 'e is, the butler!
Ah...so she knew Sebastian already? That was quite surprising, Magoichi never pegged Sebastian as the one who have friends, but then again she had never talked to the man much. He was a mysterious and quite individual who did his work efficiently and with the professionalism of a man of his profession, she admired his dedication to his job and hoped that she would be able to match his dedication to her own job, "Sebastian hmm? How interesting, he's a quite individual though extremely dedicated to his job. His previous master must be extremely lucky to have hired him," Magoichi commented.
An' yes, of course I know 'ow to use a weapon. It's true, there aren't many women 'o know 'ow to use 'em, but it's not that 'ard. It does take some learnin'. Some practice, of course. Though it's not really that un'eard or for a woman to know 'ow to fire a gun, is it?
"Practice is indeed necessary, and vital, in order to maintain a weapon as well as to accurately use it. However as you said it is unheard of for women to fire a gun, however there are a few women warriors in my world though I am the only one that have been able to use the guns in my world. What about you? What guns do you use? Do maids in your world regularly train for battle?" Magoichi asked.
