On the outskirts of Kari remained the shell of what was the father of Oblivion's legacy. Oblivion, for today, wanted to live in the past. He wanted to lived in the days before the incident so that he may perhaps prevent the freezing of his homeland. Oblivion stood at the front of the weapon's barrel.. looking out into the continent of Jherra. It was a peaceful sight, with the sunset in view. It brought a slight smile to his lips, and a small tear to his eye. He gave everything to Kari, and still his city wanted more. He will give more, he decided. He sensed someone near... and with fatal intents. Finally those who wanted him dead would act.. what a pity that he was already dead. His head drooped slightly, his gloomy red eyes looking down at the metal of his weapon's barrel. With a quick thought he would soon forget his head leveled out. He spoke out to the intruder. "Do you know why the sun sets red?"

[[Whoops! Sorry, I didn't notice that the post erased itself for the most part. Fixed. c:]] Axel smirked, stepping out from a corridor of darkness. It clung to his skin and hair, trying to hug him back into the darkness, into the abyss. But his clothes, the cloak of darkness prevented it from doing so. He wondered sometimes how it worked, but Xemnas never said. Oh well, it didn't matter.
The flurry of dancing flames began to stalk up the barrel towards his victim. His fingers burned at the tips, occasional licks of flame seen. The chakrams shimmered into view with a burst of flames. They were too hot to touch for anyone else but Axel. The assassin smirked. Stealth was never really his style.
The man's question amused him. "Of course." He drawled, stopping about five feet away from him, resting a chakram over his shoulder, eying the man like a cat playing with a mouse. "Light is made up of lots of colors and out of all those colors, red is the one that travels the farthest." He tilted his head, eying the man. Something wasn't quite right here.
Still, this should prove interesting~

"So you are here to kill me? Yes.. yes I would assume so.... Nobody." Oblivion's blood red eyes glared at him as Oblivion forced himself into the Assassin's memories. He held out a hand toward the man as if he were to grab something. When his hand closed around the empty air a object would appear in his hand. Axel, or should he say Lea, used this weapon err toy when he was a child. He held the frisbee like object so he could see and get a good look before he snapped it between his two white gloved hands.
Oblivion laughed hard at what he just did. Toying with people's memories were fun. For the next act he would summon Axel's Chakrams. He let his hands flatten and drop to his sides, were white, spinning discs were forming. Oblivion grabbed the white discs causing them to stop revealing two copies of Axel's Chakrams, only these were white instead of red. On his back his two pristine white wings ripped through his jacket, and extending to full length. "My name is Oblivion, consumer of memories. Dont bother introducing yourself, I already know who you are Lea." Oblivion said as he copied Axel's posture, resting a chakram over his shoulder.

Axel's eyes widened. Had he been set up with this mission?
"So. You know about the Nobodies. Interesting." He mused, eying the other man. Suddenly, the man reached a hand out towards Axel. His eyes widened. Pain spiked through his head, a feeling like something burrowing into his mind, an intrusion, an invasion. Instinctively he resented it, teeth bared as he fought back. What the hell was going on here?! The feeling suddenly retracted, sliding out like it had never been there. "What the hell was that!?" He snarled in disbelief, eying the man.
The man held something out towards him. Axel's eyes widened. That frisbee. Memories rushed through him. Playing with Isa in Radiant Garden. Meeting Ventus, the boy who looked so much like Roxas. Innocent days, long ago days that he'd tried to forget about because of the empty feelings tied up with it. But this time the feelings seemed different. Fuller, more real. Like how he felt when he was with Roxas. Like he had a heart. But he didn't, Nobodies existed because they -lacked- hearts. It was why they fought. But was that really true?
The man copied Axel's chakrams. He knew his name. His old name, his true name. Axel smirked slightly, eying the wings that had burst forth. No wonder Xemnas wanted this man gone. Someone who was able to mess with memories, just like Namine. "Not very original, are you?" He drawled, letting out a quiet chuckle. "I can see why Xemnas wants you gone." He eyed him. He would fight him... just for a little bit, making sure not to make any fatal or harming hits. Just a dance, to see what this guy was capable of.
If he was really as good as he seemed... Then Axel would ask for his help. He wanted Roxas back. He wanted to protect Sora. Obviously doing that just by himself wasn't going to be easy. He might be proud but he understood the value of teamwork too. He didn't know if the guy would even be willing to help, but it never hurt to give it a try now did it~?

"In order to survive I must adapt." Oblivion replied plainly as he mimicked Axel's battle stance perfectly, keeping himself loose in order to defend against his attack. While he waited, he dug into Axel's memories more, indulging himself in his story. A smile played across his lips and then a small tear fell from one of his red eyes. Axel didnt deserve what happened to him. He didnt deserve to be living a lie.
"Before you strike out at me, know this: you do have a heart. It is simply injured and trying to heal.... dont let Xemnas's lies set in... seek the truth." Oblivion pointed a chakram toward him to emphasize the point.
