Walter felt the building shake beneath his feet and fought to maintain his balance on the imbalanced surface. When the cracks started to open and tear, the Angel of Death responded with the wires sliding into the cracks. Instead of inflicting damage Walter pulled back on the wires and held the building together. Keeping it from falling apart as he managed to never turn his eyes away from the dangerous blood statue. He would finally be able to continue onward as another aerial craft under Vulture control came into view and shinned a spotlight on the statue. With a new pair of eyes, Walter leaped off the building and allowed it to fall to the ground. Resuming his advance on the nearby Research Facility.

Garrus Vakarian Are you sure it's wise to leave you here by yourself, Commander? Spoke Garrus, concerned for Imai but knew that once the Commander had made her mind up on something there was little that would change it. Yet just another parallel to Commander Shepard that he admired about the woman. The Rebel Turian made his way around the conflict between Vulture and Resistance, and made it a couple of rooftops away from the source of the noise. Using the scope on his sniper's rifle to see the creature and the man it attacked. Garrus Vakarian What the hell is that? Garrus picked up his radio to report to Imai while keeping his eye on the two through his scope. Garrus Vakarian Imai, the source of the noise appears to be some humanoid creature with an insect like mandible. Judging by the blood dripping off its clothes it appears to have come from the river. The person it's attacking... It's the man who killed 201."

And waiting on the top of the ledge for Cazador was the creature opening its mouth over the head of the man to devour him.

As Harbinger crawled back to the top of the building, he his sensors were beginning to pick up something coming from above. He wondered what it could of been. Walter was moving farther away towards the research facility while Vulture troops and the Resistance were busy shooting at each other. So what was it? Once he got close enough to the top, Harbinger would get a chance to see just what it was. The predator, he had knocked away somehow made it to the top of the building before him. It seemed impossible for the creature to of gotten up there that fast without him detecting it. It could of had the means of teleportation or maybe there was more than one of those things running around.
Harbinger clenched his teeth against each other in frustration. If someone got to the research facility before he could, then coming to Sector 12 would of all been a waste. He would have to find away to dispose of his hunter quickly or somehow get past it. He used the grip he had on the building as a stepping stone so that he could force jump over his stalker. Rather than engage it once he made it to the top, Harbinger ran past it so that he could continue heading towards the research facility.

The soldiers auto-targeting system didn't work for friendly fire, this were to keep them from turning the rifles on themselves because as soon as they had to shoot manually, they underwent a bad case of Storm Trooper syndrome. Their shots missed each other with one half heading towards the Force User and the other half ripping right through the Veran blood statue towards Imai on the other side. Reversed Stormtrooper syndrome, in this case. When Red Queen saw the issue from her core she activated their Downward Spiral mental shielding manually to protect their minds from any further outside influence on the part of the Jedi or anyone else.

Imai became paralyzed at the words that came out of the turian's mouth from the other side of the radio. Flashbacks to seeing 201's burnt corpse being delivered back to the base after a recon mission went south and they were forced to engage Legion directly played through her mind. Consumed by rage, Imai catapulted herself right through the blood statue of the First Aspect and landed on the roof across from them by the time the enemy soldiers had fired in her direction, using her biotics to force a path through the soldiers going the she sent Garrus. Imai didn't even care that she had taken her eyes off something that could kill her in one go. The murderer of her best friend was the only thing on her mind now as she landed next to Garrus, one look into her eyes making her intent all too clear to the alien. "Where is he?"

Genius responded and Kragen saw more jets soar through the sky engaging Vulture's while Imai herself lunged through the blood Veran statue and steamrolled the soldiers that were standing in their way after hearing Garrus from the other end. Kragen kept his eyes on the figure making sure it wouldn't have a chance to cut Imai off and do more damage than it already has.

Walter lunged through the air and landed on the roof of the research facility, slicing his way through the ceiling and falling into the labs below like a cat. Straightening himself up and looking around the insides as he stepped out in the halls and began his search for the files of the Fourth Aspect before either the Resistance or any third party members could get to it. His wires at the ready just in case of interference from either.

Garrus Vakarian Imai, wait! Garrus positioned himself to block Imai's path to Cazador. Probably a bad move on his part but somebody had to try to stop the commander from making a terrible mistake. Garrus Vakarian I understand your desire for revenge better than anybody but have you forgotten why we're here? We're here to save the survivors and retrieve everything we can get our hands on about Legion. Come on! I bet one of Vulture's men are already at the research facility by now.

*Saneatsu curses as the troopers miss one another, some of their bullets heading towards him. He curls the force around him in a barrier, the bullets heading towards him ricochet away. He tries again to convince them to attack one another but something seems to block his words from reaching their minds.
Time for a new tactic
He pushes out with the force again. If turning their weapons against one another didn't work, maybe turning them off would give an advantage. All weapons within a 45' bubble would begin to lock up, becoming jammed. Whatever is affecting the guns would last about 5 minutes unless they are manually fixed.
He takes this chance and disappears again, reappearing near Imai. *
Ok, so something is protecting those troopers from mental effects. I've tried to disable their weapons so hopefully that will help.

Harbinger continued his pursuit of Walter while leaving the creature behind him the dust. He needed to move faster as he saw his target dropping down into what could only be the research facility. His suit already granted him enhanced speed, but he would speed things up by using Force Speed to reach his target. He needed to hurry seeing he had been beaten to the building. As he dropped in from the opening Walter made, Harbinger started to cloak himself using the force. He activated his heat sensor on his HUD to find just where his target had gone. Harbinger slowly crept through the destroyed building before coming across the room where Walter was. His eyes were dead set on him. He was cloaked, silent, and just waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Harbinger wasn't going to leave without that data.

The computer monitors in the lab Walter entered suddenly started to shake and threw themselves towards his position, the vials exploding and releasing toxic chemicals into the air as even more objects were thrown at Walter; tables, chairs, anything and everything. As if the room itself had come alive to stop him on his path. Out in the hall Cazador was on he would notice one very critical change in appearance.
The room was bleeding.
Blood covered the ceiling which soon began to drip down the walls to the left and right of the hall, footprints present on the floor laid out in front of him. Footprints of a child. Footprints of Legion. The sound of a woman screaming like she was giving birth sounded out from the door up ahead, the sound of a baby crying coming soon after it. It was all beyond that door dare he cross it. The birth of Legion. The birth of all of this.
Far more valuable than any file.

The Shock Troops were knocked over by Imai's biotics and by the time they got up to their feet they realized their weapons were jammed. They set about fixing this and pulled back momentarily until their weapons were fixed.

"Imai, wait!"
“What!?”
"I understand your desire for revenge better than anybody but have you forgotten why we're here? We're here to save the survivors and retrieve everything we can get our hands on about Legion. Come on! I bet one of Vulture's men are already at the research facility by now."
“And so is he.”
Imai noticed where Cazador was headed and began going that way, leaving Saneatsu to be addressed by Garrus as she forced her way into the research facility to cut Caz off. Coming up behind him and aiming a pistol towards the back of his head where he was standing.
“Don't move.”

The Ex-Soldier remained standing right where he was in the presence of the Veran blood statue. He thought about taking a sample for Genius to study when they returned to base but felt it was too risky, so instead opt to take a snap shot of it and send it to Genius on his phone to examine further.
