"Raaaaaurgh!"
Angry screams filled the still air. Their source came from a young looking boy with angry yellow eyes and dark, spiky black hair. Everyone was more or less trying to avoid him, since what he was doing was sort of... unusual. Even for everything that usually happened around here.
He had no idea where the hell he was or how he'd gotten here, but right now, that was the least of Vanitas' concerns. Gritting his teeth in rage, the dark haired boy snarled at the unversed surrounding him, his keyblade gripped tightly in his hand, a knuckle white grip.
He'd woken up, surrounding by the unversed. He hadn't meant to create them-- they'd just sort of spawned around him. Maybe something had happened to him. No matter what he didn't he couldn't get them to stop and listen to him, couldn't control them. That pissed him off. When they attacked him, it pissed him off more.
Now he was fighting although more seemed to keep appearing. Maybe it was because of the emotions he was feeling right now. Rage, hate, and though he'd never admit it, fear too. This had never happened before. Had someone done this to him? Just before this he'd been talking with Master Xehanort, and then... this.
"What the hell is going on!!"

It was a rather nice day out in Hallowton. The air was crisp and breezy, the sun had managed to stretch its rays into even the narrowest alleys, and it was almost easy to forget that there had been horrible tragedy here not too long ago. It was on nice days like these that Kaworu felt the most comfortable. All that this setting needed was some nice, gentle music playing in the background, and it would be downright picturesque.
The Angel was normally a very calm, serene being, never getting too worked up about anything, whether it be in the positive or negative way. If one likened his attitude to a ship it would likely be a sailboat: Smooth, calm, and much unlike the speeding motorboats or lumbering, roaring cargo ships. However, if the winds were good enough that sailboat could go just as fast as the motorboats, though obviously in a much more graceful manner.
The metaphorical winds were in such a condition, and he found himself humming a little tune (Mozart, of course) as he walked along, a wide smile across his face. Yes, this was a good day indeed. The Lilin around him seemed to share the sentiment, a fact made apparent by the laughing children, pleasantly smug men, and lackadaisical teens. It really was true; in spite of all their suffering mankind managed to pull through. It was beautiful.
His walk gained a further skip in its step and then a very literal float, as he walked just an inch off of the actual ground. He hadn't been this happy since he had met Shinji by the lake. He wondered how the boy was doing now, though his nostalgia never dipped beyond a wistful curiosity. However, a sudden change in the atmosphere quickly took his head out of the clouds, grounding him on the real world. There was something...off about this area...
And the source was definitely that shouting boy. No wonder there was no one around, his anger seemed to have scared them all off, though the blue pointy-looking beings seemed like a better reason.
An Unversed darted towards him, and he responded in the only way he could: His AT Field was raised and the monster slammed into it, only to end up being squashed against the nearest opposite wall. While the Angel did not have any weapons, with a Field possessing such powerful projection prowess he really thought that a gun or something of the sort was unnecessary. However, two more of the beings caught sight of him and als oattempted an attack, only to suffer similar fates.
"Angels?!" And in here, of all places? But the pieces didn't fit. There could not be so many Angels in one area. He also did not see any Core, the organ that distinguished the rest of his kin from humankind. Perhaps there was a source controlling them, but there still wasn't something right. "No...are these 'demons'?" He had learned that there were some beings other than the progeny of Adam and Lilith, and given that no one had mentioned anything with properties close to Angels, his conclusion seemed to fit.
There was still the matter of that boy. Poor lad, he seemed almost as confused as he was when he first arrived in Genesis, though he definitely lacked his composure. Not saving him would be all shades of wrong, however, and Kaworu looked for a solution. The demons didn't seem to be disappearing any time soon, and he didn't have a weapon to help pry them off of the boy. His only offense was just defense, after all. He raised his voice and addressed Vanitas, having no idea that he might just get himself into a bit of a pickle.
"Ah, I see you're in trouble? I can protect you if you come closer!"
Well, he sounded awfully cowardly. He did hope the boy didn't take it the wrong way; it wasn't like he could magically summon two AT Fields at once to squash the demons. He did only have one soul, after all.
