Tori accepted the handshake though she honestly would have preferred it if Shannon went without shaking her hand entirely. But it appeared that Shannon cared more about public appearances than Tori was led to believe previously.
"Don't get any crazy ideas this race is mine."
Tori said nothing in response and simply kept the smile on her face as Shannon went out to take pictures while Lex left. Now knowing what her main competition looked like Tori also went out to speak with the people. She was the underdog in this race but Tori was more determined than ever to make sure Moon Valley didn't fall into the same bureaucracy that nearly brought the small mountain town to ruin. |
