Minako would have to make a mental note to ask more about that later. Though her mind kept drifting off to a romantic setting when they finally did get alone. While the others were speaking Minako just stood off in the corner daydreaming and one could tell she was just by looking at her.

[Aminee Starlight]

"Who sabotaged it? For what purpose?" Kain crossed his arms and waited for answers. Names. It was bad enough when he thought the weapon simply malfunctioned but to think it was sabotaged by his own people? That was much more than a blow to the ego. As for the second subject that was brought up. "There's an easy way to test that. Doctor, are you hearing voices in your head right now?"

[Cloud]

"I suspected that it maybe only one, or a few. I know the idea of the weapon scared a few of them, and fear can make men act like fools. As for the one who did it.... check the list of those who worked on the project. On the day it froze Kari, I sent all of those who help me design it home. The only ones i'm sure was there was a few maintenance workers, my wife, and I. You should find one if not a few of the original designers dead. The blast was only fatal if within a thousand feet of the weapon's core. Since the weapon took much of that thousand feet, that means someone was there that wasn't supposed to." Oblivion paused looked at everyone and continued. His tone was deathly serious, and was incredibly personal to him. Afterall, the saboteur not only sabotaged the weapon, but in doing so killed his wife and a few friends of his.

"As for voices... I hear none." Oblivion concluded however adding mentally, But I am capable of hearing your memories just fine. His eyes caught a hold of Minako, but didn't let his vision linger on her. She looked familiar. Those eyes.....

"You think an Isafarian spy might have sabotaged the weapon?" asked Huntson.
Huntson listened to the exchange as Kain tried to figure out if he really was connected to the Netherrealm. Upon hearing the Doctor say he heard no voices inside his mind he sighed a sigh in relief. It didn't look like he was lying.
"That's one problem solved."

Minako got snapped out of her daydream when she saw Oblivion's eyes glance in her direction, or at least what she thought were his eyes glancing in her direction. Not taking any chances she tried to act normally, and by normally basically with a hand on the back of her neck laughing nervously. Catching what the Private said Minako began to look hopeful as she clapped her hands together. "Does this mean he can stay?"

[Aminee Starlight]

"White Queen, I want all available info on the people at the research facility the day of the freezing." "White Queen?" "White Queen is our artificial intelligence created fairly recently to protect Kari and her interests. She's quite remarkable." Kain looked to the others then back to Oblivion. "He's free to stay. I see no reason to exile him." "Forgive me, sir, but how do you know he isn't just lying?" "Our equipment is capable of reading brainwaves activity." Kain pulled out a device that was monitoring his brainwaves right now. "We'd be able to pick up a sharp increase in activity if he was hearing voices from the Netherrealm speaking to him. He's clean." "I see..." "Is there anything else you need?"

[Cloud]

"Yes... I have been developing something, no several things during my time in the Netherrealm..." Oblivion said, reaching into his pocket to retrieve a ball shaped device. He pressed a button on the device and tossed to the floor. Before it hit the ground it sprouted legs which decreased how hard the ball hit. The top then began to glow and a hologram of the original blueprints of the super weapon. "This is the blueprints of the original superweapon. The size of the crystal to power it was huge and had huge room for error... enough for a sabatuer to make Kari believe its malfunction was... my fault. I have redesigned it to be 100% more efficient and 50% more compact. To remove chance of sabataged.. I have designed it to be controlled by a smart AI, or in this case... the White Queen. There is no room in this design for even a mouse to sneak in, but rather has an army of tiny maintenance droids to repair and keep it working well. This cuts down on the power required and the crystal needed will be small as well, meaning any malfunction or power shurge will keep the release of the power contained. Because of its small size, many can be built, ready to subdue any enemy that crosses Kari. Think of this as a gift from me to Kari." Oblivion said, picking up his holographic computer and pocketing it.

[Tenjou, Utena]

"Are you sure about this?" asked Huntson as he looked over the hologram, "I mean, just because it can't be sabotaged doesn't mean it can't fall into the wrong hands. Call me superstitious but I think we'd be tempting the fates if we continue the development of this super weapon."

Minako was happy to hear that Oblivion would be allowed to stay. The blonde started to zone out however when they started talking about White Queens and super weapons. It wasn't her area of expertise, or her business for that matter. She twirled a finger lazily through her hair and waited for the conversation to either enter a point where she could contribute or end so they could go.

[Cloud]

"It is impossible... especially since me combining with this demon... I lack the requirement to sleep to regain energy. Since I am aware at all times,and have it with me all of that time, they would have to take it from me by force. Also it cannot be hacked wirelessly because it cannot link to any network. This makes sure that only I can give the information to anyone else." Oblivion replied rather as-a-matter-of-factly. In the other hand he still twirled his white feather expertly through his fingers. He smiled warmly and added to his note.

"Of course if you doubt me, I will destroy my father's legacy right here and now and that will be the end of it I promise you... or.... I can give you a chip with the weapon plans to you for whatever purpose you have."

[Aminee Starlight]

"For now I'll take the chip for storage. Give the people time to adjust to your return before we consider reopening the weapons' project." "If you all would excuse me, I have some people I need to contact." The Pop Idol excused herself and left the room. It had been months since she made any contact with the Resistance and there was no telling what shape they were in after all of this time. She hoped they were okay. Aminee kept walking, reaching outside of the HQ in hopes to establish a radio connection with the Resistance.

"Of course Kain. I owe you for letting me stay after my mistake many years ago." Oblivion said as he slowly reached into his white jacket to retrieve a single chip. It contained both the old designs and the new designs to the nameless super weapon. It was a weapon of peace, not war. A weapon of defense... a weapon to stop invading forces... and to freeze cores of evil throughout the continent. These new designs were able to reach nations on other continents other than this one, and possibly into space.

Keeping this in mind he held it out to Kari's leader, but would not loosen his grip on it until what he had to say was complete. "Kain..... Before I give you the designs... I must express my intentions for it. I designed this weapon to fulfill my father's legacy.. to create a weapon that could be used to bring peace. It is a weapon of defense, not war..."

The grave look in his eyes peered at the leader as he loosened his grip. He was serious about this weapon... it was the only thing left that was truly his.. and now he was giving it away. Once it was in their hands he would have nothing except a renewed service to Kari an her people for the rest of his existence which could possibly last for centuries if not eternally. "I hope you understand my seriousness. Using it against its original intentions would mean my family's deaths, and the workers', the workers who were present during the 'Malfunction', deaths would be wasted. Not many people can have the second chance I've received."

[Tenjou, Utena]

Huntson still wasn't sure. Call it paranoia. At the end of the day though it was still Kain's decision and it looked like he wish to keep the chips to himself for safe keeping. Well, if they couldn't trust Kain and White Queen then who could they trust? Oblivion seemed reluctant however. Huntson could understand it but didn't agree with it. Private Huntson remained quiet though. Finding that it wasn't his place to say any more on the matter as he looked over to Kain.
"Your orders sir?"

"I'm sure he'll take good care of it." Said Minako as she offered Oblivion a comforting smile before looking at Kain. "Isn't that right?"

[Aminee Starlight]

"I learned my lesson long ago that a preemptive strike was not the answer." Kain took the data and put it away for safe keeping before his eyes went over to Private Huntson. "Return to the shelter and provide any relief you can." Then to the others who were still there. "There is nothing more to be discussed. You are dismissed."
