Peace had returned to Kari after the recent victory over the Netherrealm forces and those who fought on the grounds had been told to enter the shelter so they may be looked at. Utena sat at the front of the shelter on a stool as doctors shined a light into her eyes and examined her. She didn't like it. It was unnecessary. Utena attempted to sit up a couple of times but was forced back on the stool to finish the examination.
"Now, now, it'll be over soon," said the Kari soldier that fought along Utena's side.
"There's no need for this."
"The battle was exhausting. It's good to venture on the side of caution. What if they were to come back and you'd be too weak to help further?"
"You think they'd come back?"
"It's possible. Anything's possible."
"Where did the others go?"
"Say aah," said the doctor to Utena.
Utena sweat dropped.
"You have to be kidding..."

Oblivion, once the great Dr. Legna, was home. He smiled as he wandered this facility, escorted by a couple of doctors until they lead him to the room that Utena was being checked in. He did as he was instructed, sitting calmly on a stool as the doctor examined him thoroughly and wore a face of fear and disbelief. Oblivion read the emotion like a book replying, "Yes, my body was vaporized when the crystal expanse was created. How am I here? I will not explain it now to you" Oblivion said grimly to the medical doctor with his voice flowing with power.
The doctor's expression would relax, having forgotten that he was afraid, confused, shocked. The doctor checked his now red eyes that contrasted from his white clothes and hair. with a satisfied look the doctor moved on to check his ears then his throat. the check up ran smoothly, and when the doctor left he turned to the other one being checked in the room, curious for answers that he wished not to find himself.
"Before I start asking questions about current events, I would like to introduce myself. I was once known as Dr. Legna. What is your name?" the Demon Oblivion asked, with his eyes flowing with innocent curiosity. He wished not to read this one's memories, yet.It felt wrong to take advantage of another in that manner.

Sailor V dehenshined and returned to civilian form as Minako Aiko before entering the shelter and spotting Utena up front as she waved in her direction and came up by her side. Leaning in and whispering, "It's me. Sailor V." before pulling up and looking to the others. "How is she, doc?" After asking her question her attention went to the new arrival who were asking for Utena's name and then back to Utena as she whispered into her ear again. "I have a bad feeling about this guy."

"Don't touch me." "Ma'am, we have to-" "I said don't touch me!" Aminee slapped the doctor's hand away and then sat up from the stool she was seated on upon entering the shelter. She wasn't going to let any of them touch her, not because she didn't think they were bad doctors. But because she just couldn't stand any man touching her after what happened on that night a year ago. Even now it haunted her and disabled her to trust any man coming close. The Pop Idol wandered over to where she saw Utena being treated and spoke to her. "How are you holding up?" Her eyes then wandering over to Minako and Legna. "Who are these guys?"

Rebecca and Nadia walked into the shelter, tired from fighting against the horde of demons that assailed them, the fight had been hard but eventually they were able to prevail against darkness. It was Rebecca's first huge fight and she was still shaking from excitement, "Is it normal to shake after a fight like this?" she asked Nadia who smiled back.
"Oui, it is, don't worry it will vanish in a few hours...I was the same when I first got my first taste of battle," as they entered the infirmary where a familiar sight greeted them. Although she might not be dressed as she did on the battlefield they still recognised the Sailor as they approached her, "bonjour, you are that blonde woman that fought with the sword right?" Nadia asked Sailor V

Not far behind Aminee was Kyrie who looked around to see the various injured people in the shelter as she joined up with the others. Her focus going over to the doctors nearby as she spoke, "Is there anything I can do to help? I do have the ability to heal wounds I could be of great help to you guys here."

Utena eyes lit up when she heard Minako's whisper in her ear about being Sailor V. About to say something more until Oblivion introduced himself as Dr. Legna before asking for her name.
"I'm Utena Tenjou."
Utena looked over to the soldier next to her.
"Do you know this guy?" she whispered.
"That's the doctor who worked on the super weapon that ended up backfiring on us big time," answered the soldier. "Leading to the creation of the Crystal Expanse. But as far as I know he was killed and not frozen beneath the ice like the rest of us." The soldier then looked to the doctor. "How are you alive?"
The room was starting to get crowded as Aminee walked up to them accompanied by some woman with bright brown hair and then Rebecca and Nadia came in recognizing Minako as Sailor V a lot faster than herself. Before Utena could say anything however the soldier stood up and motioned for them to back up.
"Give the girl some breathing room, will you? You."
The soldier looked at Kyrie.
"You want to help there are some wounded over there--" he pointed to some injured soldiers across the hall-- "you can help. The rest of you give the girl some space."
"It's okay."
Utena stood up from her stool and then looked to the others who had been fighting in the battle.
"How are you all holding up?"

"Will can sustain you after death. I did not wish to fade away, for I knew I had answer for what I have done. I caused more deaths than my own and the fact I have lost everything is still not enough. My soul would wander into the Netherrealm where a demon attempted to devour me. I entered the demon and attached myself to his soul and became one with him. I erased all memories he may have......." Oblivion started, with his eyes off in the distance elsewhere.
"I took on the name Oblivion in my shame.... how fitting that I wanted to be forgotten. I will go see Kain when I am able to.... I hope Kari will forgive me..."

Minako began to laugh nervously when Nadia had figured her out and quickly try to play it cool as she looked at the pair. "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm one of the Moon Vally refugees that has been staying in here during the battle." To make sure her story sold Minako had spent some time in here in this form so if anyone asked around they'd say they'd recognize her opposed to her just popping up out of nowhere and being recognized as no other than Sailor V.
"Right, no problem. Giving her space." Said Minako as she backed away when the soldier told them to. Then looking to the others and deciding now would be as good time as any to properly introduce herself. "I'm Minako Aiko from Moon Valley. Please to meet ya!"

The Pop Idol took a step back when the soldier asked for some breathing room for Utena. Her eyes browsing over the others as they introduced themselves. "Aminee Starlight." Before looking back over to Utena. "I'm fine, all things considered." Then shifted her attention to Oblivion. "You're from the Netherrealm? Does that mean you're a part of their collective consciousness?"

"No... Im from here. I just possessed a new body from the Netherrealm. I Erased everything from this one's mind and is in my complete control. Do not fret." Oblivion said placing a white gloved head over his heart. "What is going on here? excuse me for my ignorance but I have only been alive for a few days."

"Kyrie." She introduced herself before looking over to the Kari officer. "All right. I'll be over there if any of you need me." With that said the White Mage turned around and walked across the hall, smiling over to the wounded and comforting them as she used her staff to begin healing them and providing relief.

Nadia looked at the Sailor with a mixture of confusion and annoyance, she couldn't have gotten it wrong did she? However Rebecca seemed to have picked up on something as she elbowed the red haired to be quiet as she looked at her before shrugging her shoulder. If the girl wanted to keep her fighting abilities a secret, or her identity a secret then she wouldn't push it as everyone began to introduce themselves, "I'm Nadia Cassel, and this here is Rebecca Chambers," Nadia said as Rebecca gave a small wave.

"Perhaps you should pick a better disguise," whispered Utena to Minako before looking back to the others. Mainly the man who called himself Oblivion.
"We were just attacked by the Netherrealm. They have been invading Genesis for the past couple of months and conquered three of our cities. This fight marks the first victory we have held over them."
The Kari troopster nodded to confirm.
"Kain is still at HQ if you wanted to speak with him."

Minako choked up another nervous laugh in Utena's direction before straightening out her stance and looking to the others. "You took his body and then erased his memories?" Minako asked as she looked the man over from head to toe. Honestly curious about how he was able to manage such a feat. Not everyone could just will themselves back to life and erase memories like that. "So, this body is little more than a vessel to you? An empty shell?"
