“W-what's happening?”
Imai felt a sudden coldness spread throughout her body as the world around them turned to black. Fading away and being far removed from where they were from. A scream of pain left her lips as she clutched to the back of her right hand as she saw the violet symbol appear.
“What is this? What have you done to us!?”
"Welcome to my world. Now please, do not stray from my side, or will will never be able to leave."
“What?”
Imai felt Sebastian lift her up and carry her across this strange and foreign land in a bridal carry. She herself could do nothing but lie in his arms helplessly. Cursing herself beneath her breath at how weak she was now. Feeling emotionally and physically drained by the time they finally left the realm and returned to the city. At least now they were too far away from Legion for her to be a threat but the fact they had been defeated so easily did not sit well with the Resistance Commander. It was their most recent battle against Vulture all over again.
"What are your plans now, Sirs? Will you be hiding out for a while as your leader recovers?"
“Excuse me, but I am still the Commander here. Put me down.”

Kragen watched as reality changed, the cold took them away and felt the pain on the back of his hand. Having to remove his glove to see the mark now branded against his skin as his mind put two and two together. He crossed the realm and remained close to Sebastian side. As usual not saying much as he observed this strange new world. Taking it all in as it was a rare opportunity in and of itself. When they passed along to the other side Kragen looked back at Sebastian when he asked his question. Imai interjecting before he could say much. But what he did say was, "We should be able to intercept the reinforcement from here and return to base." Which seemed like the most logical step to take.

Garrus Vakarian It's going to be all right, Imai. Trust me. The Rebel Turian never left Imai's side. He endured the cold and the pain, assuming that Sebastian was doing something to keep them from freezing to death as he still had the warmth of his own body to keep him afloat. Watching the flames turn a bright purple and burn almost hypnotically. The pain on the back of his hands lured his eyes over to the symbol that etched itself into his skin. He wondered if it was permanent or not but thought now wasn't the time to ask as they traveled across the world and finally exit out of it and back into Isafaro. He felt that stinging pain again and saw that the symbol had left as he now looked over to Sebastian. Garrus Vakarian I agree with Kragen. I also think we need to find out more about this 'Legion' before taking any further action against her. The research facility in the flooded sector may still have files there that can be of use.

He was... laughing. Legion never saw that reaction before. There was usually confusion, fear, pain, screaming. This man was the complete opposite. He was more like her than anything else she had encountered in this city. A being of multiple minds in the same head. The demon child knew how to narrow it down to one individual mind, or attack multiple ones at once. However that alone wasn't the reason her madness hasn't worked. It was the power he possessed. Forcing things back to a standstill. It was exciting. For the first time since leaving the research facility in sector 12 the demon child was enjoying herself. She didn't even care about Imai or General Vulture at this point.
Legion received at least some satisfaction when she squished those disgusting darklings. But even that was soon being twisted and used against her as it covered the field, and then shot out towards her in the form of spikes. Resulting her to retaliate by launching dark tendrils towards the spikes to knock them off their course. Spreading her own essence, the essence of the First Aspect which was infinite in its creation, across the area to battle against his as the city saw a new kind of darkness fall as two of its biggest monsters went head to head.

[/center] He had made no effort to answer any questions from the leader he'd carried into the Realm. There was no need for her to have any of those answers; they would have been difficult to answer in simple terms anyway. So the journey had been a quiet one, and he'd cast an occasional sideways glance in the direction the men; taking careful note of the interest they were displaying toward his world. But there was no trouble, not that he had expected any, the return to reality had gone smoothly. He chuckled under his breath at Imai's demand, and obliged; lowering her gently to the ground and holding her up until she could get her feet under herself to properly stand. Even then, he lurked close to her shoulder, ready to catch her if she collapsed again. When the men spoke of what they thought was the best idea, Sebastian simply inclined his head as he turned back toward Imai. "With your permission, Miss, I will accompany you. Hellsing wishes for the safety of the Isafaro resistance, and it wouldn't be wise to leave you alone and unprotected now." Honestly, he knew he needed to return to fight Legion, as ordered. But once again, the resistance was the priority. Legion could be engaged later. If the Resistance was lost, it was lost forever. So it simply made more sense to make sure the Rebels survived. But it didn't matter too much anymore. He knew he was already going to be in some trouble with Integra for not killing Legion, and he'd even allowed himself to practically be split in half. It would be difficult to not allow the injury to interfere with his butler duties... More trouble... But now wasn't the time to concern himself about that either. “Agreed. We should be able to restock at the base and then fly out to the sector. The more we know about this threat the better.”

“All right. It shouldn't be far from here. Move out!”

As the battle between monsters waged on Legion's eyes were lured out into the horizon. Feeling a force rising to the south that was even greater than that of the Darkness that faced her now. A force blessed by the creator to do what it was destined to do. A force The Essence has warned her about.
The End was among them.
The demon child forced her way through the Spokesman of Insanity. Had it been anything else Legion would have ignored it in favor of the Spokesman. But the threat of The End was something that could not be ignored. Especially not when there were still so many questions left behind in the child's mind about her own existence. With her tendrils reaching out into the black abyss that was the city at night, Legion propelled herself up through the air and began her advance for the exit of the city.
And began her advance for The End.
