The gauntlet has been thrown and the man before her released his power in full at his master's whim. Setting the field in his favor, bending it to his will. Trapping her within a sphere now all around her bordering across the lines into a realm where all those without the mark on the back of his hand could not enter. There was no escape. A clear indication to the power that Hellsing held within its grasp. It was easy to see why Integra was declared the most dangerous woman alive today. No ordinary demon could have ever survived standing in the wake of Sebastian's full power.
She was anything but ordinary.
As her energies left her body and was pulled into the sphere, it didn't respond as one would have expected. There was no fatigue in her eyes, no signs of weakness. She stood as she has since appearing on the rooftop of the outpost. Unwavering. Sebastian's eyes would be taken away from Legion and to the sphere itself. As the power poured in, the sphere became larger and larger until it threatened to engulf the entire outpost and trapped the Resistance inside. It was then that Sebastian would learn that this was no mere demon child he was facing.
He stood before the terror that was the Arashi.
His talon came down for her flesh but was halted by a tendril of darkness that blocked the attack and then ripped through his chest and torso to cut him in half as the silence before the storm ended...
And the building beneath their feet was torn apart.

The way she seemed completely unperturbed by the shift in battlefield and enemy, it was both haunting and fascinating. His gaze flickered up to the sphere around them; growing larger... And larger... Whatever the vortex was sucking in from Legion... It was not resulting the way he had expected it to... She didn't even seem to be weakned... But he was aware of the danger this posed to himself. If he continued to draw in her energies into that aura, it would be far too difficult to draw it out. He had to fight without his true form's abilities. The demon's eye fell back on his target, a snarl rumbling in his throat. She didn't so much as move as the monster bore down on her; and the fuschia eyes narrowed suspiciously. He could see the darkness around her, start to see the tendrils coming at him. Of course, his talons were blocked... The instant the talons made contact with her tendrils; he changed. It would all happen within a 16th of a second, and under cover of the darkness and feathers which surrounded him. The power of the border to the Faustian Realm would push out the toxin-like energies which his aura had absorbed, and the sphere around them began to break; being drawn back into himself as the shadows of Legion's energies would be sent back to her. He couldn't afford to remain in his true form any longer, too much more energies from her would cause serious trouble for him... As Legion lashed out at him with her tendrils after countering his own attack; she would find she struck him when he was mostly returned to his normal human-like form. His body as a human was much smaller than the body as a demon. So that 16th of a second had very well saved his life as the tendril ripped across his upper body; leaving a deep gash rather than splitting him in half as had been her intent. But that did nothing to lessen the shock of being struck... As he sprang backward, blood seemed to explode from the wound. He stumbled slightly as he landed back on his feet, though the grace of landing had been robbed from him due to the severity of his wound. The final traces of the aura which had been left would resume the dark fog appearance around his butler attire-clad figure; and be drawn back into himself as those fuschia eyes glared purposefully at his target. His injury was supposed start closing instantly due to regeneration, but now... His chest was on fire from the pain, and blood continued to flow from the wound. It was closing, yes; but very slowly... That could mean that whatever Legion's tendrils were made of, that the components were equal to pure holy energy or certain demonic auras in power. And there was something off about the burning pain... It was different from past injuries of similar cause and construction... But right now, he couldn't place it... He felt weak, much as he had when he had been struck with Grell's Death Scythe; when his Cinematic Records had risen from his body before recovering. His demonic aura had grown too much as it absorbed Legion's energies... It would likely prove fatal if he tried to resume his form at this time. Had he waited any longer to take back his aura... He didn't want to think about what would have happened. That was when he felt the building under his feet splinter, and begin to crash down. His eyes widened. So... The clash of the two powerful energies had resulted in far too much pressure on their battlefield. The ground gave way, and then there was nothing but the sounds of crashing infrastructure and the feelings of shrapnel against his skin. By the time everything was silent again, he was buried under a mass of rubble. Rage pumped through him. This demon child had to die... Well.. He knew now that she was not just a demon child... His vortex hadn't weakened her as it took her energies; it had weakened him instead... He had lost a great deal of his own being in the form of that Aura just now... And it would serve as quite a problem to him as this fight was drawn out. With much more effort than he would normally have had to exert; the butler shifted rubble off him until he was no longer buried, and jumped lightly over to stand on a large piece of wall as he glared about him. Where was that bastard... Now that he thought about it, where were the resistance members? If they had been harmed in the collapse, he'd have to deal with an angry Integra... The butler turned about on the section of wall, crimson eyes flashing about as he tried to find them; though he kept his every sense alert for any approach by Legion. His transformation into his true form would have countered the illusion she set on him; the Resistance would see him, not their demon child target, if they set eyes on him now. Of course... They'd see him covered in blood with a dark gash across his front. What a breach to his ego... To allow himself to be struck in such a way by the one he was supposed to kill... The slightest trace of a smile started to pass over his features. But it was no matter... He wasn't finished... Not even close... He would kill her, as ordered... And to add insult to injury, he would kill her in his somewhat human form... But right now... His priority was the ensure the Resistance was unharmed... "You piss off something enough times and it'll come looking specifically for you. Maybe not now, maybe not later, hell maybe not until you're dead and it's throwing the corpses of hundreds of dead people in all directions chasing you through the fire and flames of hell itself. One thing you should know though, the thing coming for you, often is something that is more terrifying than death itself. Once it gets ahold of you, once it kills you, once it absorbs you, you become nothing at all. Nothing but, darkness." "WAKE! WAAAAKE! YOU MUST WAKE!"
This was the pit that was left over from the three way battle within the city that rendered Gabriel inactive for so long. He had been defeated and buried alive to repair from seemingly life threatening wounds made by the Ookami. The pit exploded upward as a solid blackness shot into the sky and loomed down upon the city where it watched as a building collapsed off in the distance. In a zone liberated once by him. "There," was the only word that escaped his mouth the moment his body was propelled forward through the air and landed moments later outside the building. He raised his gaze upon the complex and his eyes glazed bright golden along with several hundred other pairs of eyes surrounding him. He was formless aside from his torso, only a mass of constantly squirming eel like tendrils made up the majority of his body and movements. "YOU MUST FEEEEEED! I CAN FEEL IT! I CAN TASTE THE FEAR!"
Finally his hands protruded from the slithering beast that was the darkness and they raised on either side of him with clutching fists of purple energy. Portals to the underdepths of the darkness opened around him as dozens upon dozens of Darklings raised from hell itself. The madness exited their throats as they laughed in hallowed echoing tones as the scene before them, at the feel of death that littered the air. "What a lovely setting for a horror movie," said the No Life King who unleashed the full power behind him in order to draw the attention of many in the area.

"What are you doing!?"
“What does it look like I'm doing? I'm killing the bastard that murdered 201!”
"Imai. Imai, look. You just killed an unarmed soldier. Snap out of it you're falling to illusions."
“What?”
Imai looked in the direction the flames had came from and instead of seeing the armored man, she saw a Vulture's troop who was indeed unarmed and now ripped apart violently by her biotics. A look of horror on her face as she couldn't believe she was capable of such a feat of violence. Imai covered her mouth and felt like she was going to be sick while Garrus continued.
"Imai, we need to get you out of here. It's not safe."
As if to illustrate his point further the ceiling above them collapsed, the whole building quickly following suit. Imai thought fast on her feet and cast a large biotic barrier around the three strong enough to hold off the falling building, just long enough for them to make their way back outside. Not even a half and hour has passed and already they were right back where they started. The barrier went down as soon as they were safe and Imai dropped to a single knee to rest. Her eyes looking over to see Sebastian bleeding and in the rubble.
“Sebastian!”
Imai tried getting up but she was too weak to move after all that energy she had put into the barrier to keep them from being squashed.
“Go see if he's all right.”
After giving that order a sudden chill shot up and down her spine as she felt a familiar dark force in the area coming closer feeling hunger.
And it wasn't Legion.

They were safe. For now. Kragen felt it too. That feeling of hopelessness and at first he thought it was with their current situation. Until he turned his head and saw him up ahead. The Spokesman of Insanity looking at the sight of the collapsed building. Caution followed soon after. True, he had helped them a great deal before but he never officially allied with them and he made it clear to both Kragen and Garrus that he didn't care about the people here. Just because he was an ally before didn't mean he'd be one now. At the same time Kragen wouldn't risk a preemptive strike against something that deadly when it was possible he had no quarrel with them. Kragen picked up his radio and brought it to his mouth. "Genius, we need back up stat." There was still the case of Legion to contend with and Sebastian needed medical condition.

Garrus spotted the look of horror plastered on her face when Imai saw what she had done. The Rebel Turian reached out to hold her but that was interrupted as the building began to come down on them. Imai put her power into protecting them and giving them time to get out of the outpost as it all came crashing down. But by the time they reached outside and the barrier was brought down Imai was weak. Garrus knelt down next to her and tried to help her up before hearing her call out to Sebastian. The Rebel Turian turned and saw the butler in bad condition but he was amazed that he was even still alive. Garrus Vakarian How the hell are you still standing? Sebastian wasn't the only one. Garrus saw Gabe approach their position and was surprise to see him alive as well after the fight that was reported here before. At the same time he wasn't simply because of what the person has done in the past. It looked like was ready for a battle. Had Legion drawn him to this place soon? Where was the girl? Following Imai's order Garrus went over to Sebastian while Kragen stayed by Imai's side and took out a medi-gel. Garrus Vakarian This should help with the bleeding.

Following Sebastian out of the rubble was ink black tendrils that sprouted out from what remained of the destroyed Vulture's outpost and spread throughout the outside area where Sebastian, Gabriel and the Resistance members resided. The same tendrils that inflicted the gashing wound on the demon butler now. At the source was the demon child, being propelled up from the rubble and having her dried blood drenched feet touch the ground. Completely unscathed. She could feel the presence of the No Life King long before she even arise out of the rubble. It was enough to reduce the inner child's soul inside her body to sheer terror, causing the other demons inside her mind to be at unease. But The Essence brought chaos to order. It compelled her forward him without fear. The others becoming little more than an afterthought as her attention shifted to the Dark Wielder.
Monster versus monster.
The rest was just collateral.

Hearing his name, the crimson gaze instantly snapped over to fix on who had called, and was relieved to see that Imai and her followers seemed unharmed. They must have had something to protect them against being crushed beneath the rubble. Obviously, Imai wasn't well; she seemed weak. And yet there she was, expressing concern for him. That thought almost made him laugh. He was in pain, certainly; but under no circumstance was his existence in danger. But then again... They knew nothing about him; except that he could dig escape tunnels in two minutes. So their concern was understandable. He started to make his way toward the three, determined to help Imai. When the dark tendrils rose up with the demon child, his pace quickened. He could sense and smell the newest arrival, and the monsters he had brought up, and there was something about him that made the demon feel an instinctive urge to tread cautiously from here on out. As he joined them, he looked out toward the new arrival and creatures; wondering who they were and why they had come here. And then there was Legion... Who seemed to have forgotten about her current opponent, him, and was focused on the newcomer. How strange... Perhaps this was the one she wanted vengeance against? Well... Whatever happened, he would resume being a mere observer. If Legion wasn't killed in the ensuing battle, then he would move in and deal the final blows. But at least he could turn his attention the the Resistance for the time being. It was Garrus' words which made him crack a smile and turn fully to face them. "Sir; I am still standing, because these are only minor wounds. I've been in far worse condition before, I assure you." He chuckled quietly, ignoring the steady burning which wasn't fading. "Your concern is appreciated, but your medical care will be wasted on me. It would be better utilized on yourselves."Sebastian knelt down on the rubble by Imai's side, and extended a gloved hand which was miraculously still pure white and unstained; by either dirt or blood. The cloth seemed to glow amidst the dark color of the ravaged building remains. He rested two fingers against her neck, an ever so gentle touch to check her pulse. "Miss Imai... Are you alright?" He looked up at the two other Resistance members, swiftly looking over them to see if they were injured. Neither one seemed to be harmed, only Imai was in a weak state. Good, two less things on his plate to concern himself with. The eyes turned back to the woman, shadowed with concern. He could feel his own weakness, His state of weariness... But it only made him feel strangely light... Fascinating... "When you goad the hunger of the Darkness by showing fearlessness you excite it. When you excite something that deadly, you're fucked."
It would come as little surprise that the puppet of the Darkness flourished at the power it could nearly taste. Devouring something like legion would make the Darkness monsters happy as the Darklings themselves finally made it to the bottom of the building and rallied under their master all of them cheering and muttering in strange tongue as to which of them would bring the heart of this child to their master and become his permanent underling. The tendrils of Darkness however were busy fighting between one another for supremacy. They squabbled back and forth roaring at one another until one finally ripped the other one apart and turned to roar directly at Gabriel whose lips twisted in an evil grin. Eventually the Darkness pulled Gabe down to Legions level where the Darklings behind him rallied closer cackling with laughter. His glowing eyes along with hundreds of others all stared at the girl and the same twisted grin remained spread across the face, "I have been tracking your essence for a while. It will be amazing to finally devour you."

Imai had no earthly idea where she was. Her perception of reality was completely skewed thanks to Legion. She could hear Genius speaking over the radio to Kragen, “Confirm. Backup's on the way.” and faint voices in the distance but that was it. The Resistance Commander couldn't even bring herself to stand as the tendrils of the demon child started to spread over her. Reaching her hand out for whatever comforting shoulder she could find as she started to weep.
“H-help me! Please!”

"She's not all right." Answered Kragen after his radio conversation with the Genius. Right now all of Legion's attention has gone over to the Spokesman which gave them the perfect opportunity to pull back and regroup. There was no point continuing a mission where your commander was unable to perform their duties. Avoiding the tendrils that went everything Kragen went over to Imai's side and reached out to grab her. "Help me get her up," he said to Sebastian.

Tendrils. Why did it always have to be tendrils? Garrus leaped back away from the tentacles as they burst out from the rebel along with the demon child herself and drew his weapon. Ready to deliver a five shot burst to the first tendril that got too close for comfort. Since Sebastian insisted that he was perfectly fine the Rebel Turian was able to shift his attention back to Imai who didn't have a clue where she was or what was happening. A side effect from Legion messing with her mind? There would be time to ponder things later as he remained close to the three. Acting as their cover fire in case Legion made another move for the commander.

Legion tilted her head, the usual blank expression that has become somewhat of a trademark of the demon child's psychological terror she left on her victims, compromised that very trademark in favor of a slight curious look in her eyes at the beast before her now. The Darkness. It wasn't like the Darkness she had devoured from Isafaro itself or the darkness that existed in her own soul. No. It was something more. It didn't fear her. Sebastian didn't either but the Darkness had taken it a step further. It wanted to make Legion a part of herself. To empower itself through her without fear of consequence. The Essence. It was without end. An infinite existence. It denied its victims death. The reason Sebastian plan had backfired on him. Was the Darkness aware? Surely it must have been... Foolishness or was it really that great? Either way it had instilled her curiosity. Neither Legion nor The Essence had any intention on being devoured. It was time to see what all this new obstacle in her path could do.
The Darkness would be given no special treatment however. If the host looked down to his hand they would see the same thing that countless others before them have. The sight of their skin pealing off until it reached bone. There was a 50/50 chance of it being either real or illusion. There was also a 50/50 chance of their perception getting it wrong, as Sebastian had when he thought his skin pealing off was an illusion when it was in fact reality even being able to bypass his regenerative abilities in the process before the truth was revealed to him. But Sebastian was not the host of something greater than he. Even if the host fell to the same perception what would the Darkness do? It was in this moment that the demon child was truly like her fathers and mothers back in that lab. Messing with forces she knew nothing about.
Legion didn't forget about the Darklings nor the Resistance and the demon butler. She raised her own dark tendrils and then slammed them down like a hand to a bug, looking to squash the Darklings that rallied behind their master. She thought them disguising and wanted them dead. As for the Resistance flames shot around them as if the ground itself became gasoline. Creating a circle of fire that raised up its walls to trap them right where they stood. The demon child couldn't care less about the others, but Imai. She had plans for Imai and she wasn't about to let her go without a fight.

He watched as her hand extended, practically clawing for some support as she begged for help. Then the hand would rest on his shoulder, clinging. Had he been human, it might have been a painful grip. But it only went to show how desperate she was, how much help she needed. He could understand that, he had just experience what it was like to be in Legion's presence. He could imagine what it must have been like for a non-demon. Then Kragen told him to help... However, he didn't reach out to bring Imai to her feet yet. There was something else to be done first. Escape was now their priority, so he would provide. As the battle between Legion and the newcomer commenced, the butler rose steadily to his feet. There was no swaying, nor any sign of unsteady footing. He was simply... Composed and cool-headed. He stood straight-backed and proud, no trace of fear in those yes. He maintained that eerie sense of an almost serene calm, despite the pain he was in at that moment. The piercing gaze was locked on Legion, prey who would be left unharmed... For the time being... He would return to end her existence, but for now... There was the safety of the Resistance to deal with. As the fires rose up around them all in a ring, an audible sigh slipped from his throat. Of course she would try to keep them there. Well, it was too bad that her target, Imai, had one hell of a butler standing protectively at her side. He turned back to face Garrus, Kragen, and Imai; an apologetic look fixed on them. "I will help you escape, it is clear that all three of you shouldn't be here if you intend to live to see another day. However... I'm afraid it will be rather uncomfortable... For all of you... I do hope you'll forgive my rudeness." Normally, he wouldn't have taken this form of escape. But the three of them already knew he wasn't human, there was no need to hide what he could do anymore. His hands were already void of gloves; he'd taken them off earlier. The left hand rose before his face, black nails standing out harshly, the intricate symbol on the back facing toward the three as the eyes flickered back to their trademark fuschia. They would find their reality growing darker quite suddenly, as if some great black blanket had been thrown upon them. The flames surrounding them would vanish; along with the building's rubble, the newcomer, and Legion herself. It would feel extremely cold to them, his world existed at the supposedly theoretical 'absolute zero' temperature, -273.15 degrees Celsius. In his world, there was no such thing as heat, it didn't exist. They would feel cold... And it was simply his presence which was keeping the body heat they already stored trapped within themselves. There was no sound, nothing in this realm gave off sound waves. They would feel agony on the back of their left hands for a few seconds, pain which would fade as quickly as it had come. If they looked closely enough, the very faint outline of his own mark would be visible on their flesh; giving off it's own very slight violet glow. It was due to that mark that they had been allowed over the border into the Faustian Realm. It was their passport of sorts... And it marked them as his responsibility. He trusted that the three wouldn't cause any trouble in their brief time here, the only reason he had done this. The truth was that, as they were his 'guests' here, if they caused any trouble; he, as the host Faustian, would experience the full brunt of the vengeful world's wrath. If they looked to their right, they would see the vague outline of Legion and her opponent; exactly where they were located in the living world. Whatever the battling pair did there would be reflected here; this world was simply a huge mirror of reality. The rubble of the building was outlined to their other side, the other structures which existed in Isafaro would also be visible around them. Even the ring of fire was here; tough it looked more like purple flames, and they gave off no heat. The darkness and cold would press against them all, though he of course felt nothing. Sebastian turned back to smile pleasantly at the three Resistance members. "Welcome to my world. Now please, do not stray from my side, or will will never be able to leave." His voice echoed strangely in the void of absolutely nothingness. He moved back to Imai's side, and bent down to lift the woman into his arms with a gentle grace. She weighed nothing to him. He hand one arm supporting her upper back, will his other arm was locked under her knees. Cradled in his arms like that, he couldn't help but feel amused as how helpless she looked. Such a lithe figure... He could easily break her; snap her very body as one would snap a twig. Of course, he had no intention of doing so; but it was a satisfying thought all the same. Knowing others were completely at his mercy was a feeling he enjoyed... It was part of being the vile creature he truly was. He began to walk to walk down the barely visible street, expecting the other two to follow. The shadowy fire around them parted as he approached and passed through, and the gap in the flames would remain until they were all safely on the other side. As they moved through the mirrored city of Isafaro, lights in the shape of people would gleam through the darkness, marking the exact place where the soul stood in the real world. Garrus, Kragen, and Imai were lucky to even be setting eyes on his world. He never brought living beings here, not until now. They would walk on in the silence for what felt like hours, only to find that they weren't even slightly tired throughout the journey. It wasn't until they had reached the far other side of the huge city that the darkness began to fade, and the world steadily grew real... They would emerge from the realm just outside an abandoned warehouse. This entire section of Isafaro seemed to be void of life. The three would feel pain in their hands again, and see that the symbol had vanished entirely. They were safe here for the time being at least, while Legion was occupied at the other end of the city. The journey felt long, minutes stretching into hours, but in reality had taken only a second. Still carrying the feeble woman in his arms, he turned back to face Garrus and Kragen. "What are your plans now, Sirs? Will you be hiding out for a while as your leader recovers?" He asked, as if nothing strange, no travelling through another realm, had just happened. At some corner of his mind, he could feel himself being tugged back to where Legion was engaged, his orders were to kill her. But again, his duty at this exact moment was more important. Even Legion's power of insanity couldn't break through the Spokesman of Insanity's mind. He was an entity of many minds and billions of bodies, he was the original Legion in terms of he who came first, the difference between him and her was that he began laughing with the sheer insanity of the situation, her games, mind games or not were easily put at a standstill with the black magic that ran through his body, the sheer Darkness that flooded his power, and the wild card inside his head. All elements careening the balance of power to no side but a neutral element.
The Spokesman allowed his minions to be sacrificed for the greater good of his hand. Being squashed came a twisting reality as black blood and guts filled the area and spreading across every inch of the ground creating a foundation from which no light would filter and no reality could pierce. He stood at the very center as the pitch blackness spread quickly forward toward Legion the same insane look in his lifeless eyes as before but a twisted smile across his face.
There was an impact where the blackness ceased to move and rapidly it sprang to life firing ink black spikes about six feet in length from its foundation directly for the center mass of the child. During this instant Gabe had taken the liberty in moving forward and spreading his minions blood across every surface he could reach with his power, painting the area with an essence he could control.
