The Shock Troops reflexes kicked in and they avoided the bullets from the gun cameras, shooting them down with their own weapons before going after the Resistance members who went towards the rear exit. Switching between visions on their visors they caught the claymore minds on the ground and leaped over them before coming outside and open firing on the Resistance climbing up the fire escape.
The Vertigo Bombers shot down the missile with their rear gun turrets and continued on through the air to do more damage to the sector away from 201's position as the snipers in the area provided back up for the Predators and bombers. Unloading their railguns to rip through Garrus' tank as he was firing his laser at the Predators and to send VTOLs crashing down on 201.. |

“Watch it they're on your tail!”
Imai hung off the fire escape as she was climbing, waving her arms to send a mass effect field to overload the soldiers weapons giving time for the others to enter the top floor of the building before drawing her heavy pistol and firing on the soldiers below while their weapons were useless.
With the Vertigo Bomber finally off her back 201 turned around and fired a guided missile into the direction of the Predator tanks blocking Garrus' path before sending off swarms of stingers into the buildings to the left and right to eliminate the PLAGUE snipers. The VTOLs in the air managed to avoid the Vertigo Bomber gun turrets and railguns from the snipers as they went after the bombers and other VTOLs unloading their submachine guns towards them. |

Kragen had underestimated the visions of the Shock Troops visor and it cost him as a couple of his men fell down from the fire escape from the bullets that ripped through their bodies. Kragen and the rest of the team managed to reach the top floor of the building thanks to Imai's assistance and the Ex-Soldier look to make the Shock Troops pay for killing his troops as he fired on them with the HK45 from cover up above.

It was regretful Garrus didn't have time to complete all their upgrades but you had to work with what you can get and at least they had the turian cannon equipped. While they were fighting for their lives Garrus had to think quickly to get them out of this situation. It occurred to him that these were unmanned tanks meaning they must have been tracking them down on some kind of radar. But if they didn't appear on the radar then the tanks would be unable to track them even if they vanished right in front of them as they had no naked eyes of their own. Right then Garrus made the order and activated the cloak system on his tank. The group of tanks becoming invisible just as 201 attacked the Predators and the surrounding snipers. Leading the rest of his unit past the Predators unseen.

With their weapons overloaded the Shock Troops returned into the first floor of the building to avoid the gunfire, thus allowing them up to the top floor while they repaired their weapons. Meanwhile on the top floor one of the PLAGUE snipers turned the corner down the hallway they entered and aimed his railgun at the group and opened fire with enough power to wipe them out in a heartbeat.
Seeing that the enemy tanks were now invisible Red Queen downloaded a copy of herself into the Predator tanks that managed to avoid the guided missiles by moving out of the way. With Red Queen now manually controlling the Predators she was able to make an educated guess they couldn't automatically and fired at the empty space where Garrus and his crew was. Another group of Predator tanks moving in on 201's position from the other side of the road, these equipped with the railgun upgrade and not wasting any time in using them to rip right through her shields and armor. The snipers up in the building above falling out of the burning buildings as PLAGUE VTOLs fell out of the sky and into other buildings killing innocent bystanders that were hiding inside. |

Imai held up a shield protecting her men from the railgun as they sent bullets through the corner wall to take out the sniper using that point as cover as Imai pushed forward not wanting to be trapped in this hallway. The soldiers behind her both capable of dodging to the rooms at the left and right side of the halls if her shield failed for what ever reason.
Garrus was on his own now unfortunately as 201 evaded the railgun fire and came back with a charge shot at the approaching Predators meanwhile launching grenades at the set of tanks now blocking her path forward. |

Kragen kicked open the door to one of the rooms and went inside to set up a sniper's point. The order went to the others as well as they spread out behind Imai. Three staying by her side to help her take down the railgun sniper as Kragen and his men set up to provide cover fire for the men on the ground.

So much for that idea. Garrus and the others were forced to abandon the tanks right before they were destroyed by the Predators. The Rebel Turian and his team proceeded to run down the road and across the street, their only cover in the form of the VTOLs above and luckily the snipers on Kragen's team that had moved into position as they continued down the road. Using any cover they can find to protect from the main gun of the chasing Predators before they kept moving away.

The PLAGUE Sniper fired another blast from his railgun just as the soldiers open fired on the wall, taking it out completely and being pummeled by the bullets of the Resistance, falling back into the ground and losing his life all for the chance to wipe them out with the railgun.
The lead Predator was taken out by 201's charge shot but the grenades to follow was ineffective against the reinforcement as they continued to unload upon 201 with their railguns. Garrus would find a little red dot upon his head and instantly be able to recognize it from their previous encounter just seconds before another massive explosion erupted on his position followed by the sounds of chainsaws as thirteen inhuman super soldiers fired at Garrus' team with their lancers and came at them with their chainsaws. |

Imai still had the barrier up in front of her but had to lower down the sides of it so the soldiers had an opening to fire due to how narrowed the hallway was. They didn't expect the man to sacrifice his life like that and as a result the three still by her side were taken out at the same time he fell to the ground. Knowing all too well the Vulture's tendency to come back to life Imai used her biotics to tear apart the soldier's body so he couldn't regenerate his cells and mutate.
201 rigged her tank to explode and then set it for a collision course against the Predators as she jumped out of the cockpit and escaped through an open manhole nearby just as her tank self destructed. |

These guys again. It appeared the space platform that gave them so many problems before was back in action. Now they had to worry about these armored units and explosions from the little red dot of death that enabled Vulture to hit them anywhere. No cover was safe now. As for the armored units, this time Kragen knew what to do. He picked out the one in the group that appeared to be the leader and fired towards their visor to take them out, breaking up their group just long enough for Garrus and his unit to push through.

Things has gone from bad to worse when Garrus saw that red dot from the heavens. He spun around and moved as fast as he could with the rest of his squad, jumping just as the warhead came down and smashed into the road, hitting the ground in a roll behind some cover that remained as the thirteen armored soldiers with their chainsaws and lancers started attacking them. Hearing the sniper fire Garrus peaked up and fired at the rest of the group looking to take them out quickly.

The Novalith Cannon turned its attention to the building Imai and Kragen was reportedly in by the Red Queen's radar. They would not be able to see the little red dot as it hovered on the ceiling of the complex which they remained on the top floor of. Charging up its massive railgun again as it sent another warhead down to the building below looking to eliminate the Resistance's leader, Kragen and the snipers all in one fair swoop.
The armored team heard the shots of the snipers and their reflexes kicked in, evading the sniper's bullets and then taking up cover. Resuming fire from their Lancer IIs as the Predators tanks that were chasing Garrus' team began closing in threatening to box Garrus and his unit between them and the armored unit. |

Imai walked over to Kragen's position after taking care of the sniper in the hallway and looked up to the sky as she could see something coming down from above. Realizing that it was another blast from the Novalith Cannon Imai grabbed Kragen and jumped out of the building just as it exploded. Using her biotics to break their fall, the two slowing down just before touching the ground, landing on their feet as Imai let go of Kragen and looked him over.
“Are you all right?”
Unfortunately there was no time to save the rest of the team.

The Ex-Soldier saw the sky darken and knew straight away something was wrong as he spoke into his radio. "Sniper team, move now!" Just before Imai grabbed him and jumped out of the building, using her biotics to ensure a safe landing as the building behind them was destroyed. The rest of the team would not be so lucky as they'd fall off the building wall while climbing down and hit the ground, dying on impact for being on the top floor. Kragen said nothing in response to Imai. He merely stared in her direction as his face was unreadable behind the gas mask. But the glowing red eyes upon the mask said it all.
