"Knock knock, Anyone home?" Daikus poked his head through the door to look around, it was just as he remembered it, dark, dusty, and empty. "I guess not." He muttered as he walked into the building. Looking around he saw many memories, and still no sign of Dante.
It would seem that no matter what he couldn't escape the fact that no matter the power he held, there wouldn't be anything that he could change. The memories he held were s weakness, and weakness had to be tossed aside.
All the way from Moon Valley one could see a huge explosion of white light, the residual energy from the explosion would scream familiarity as it would feel like the Dark prince Mundus, and something even more powerful and darker.
Before Daikus stood the DMC shop set a blaze, next to him stood a giant demonic beast with the signature three glowing dots on it's forehead. "Kill any that come, you'll be my message to this new world, and all those I remember." With that, a rift opened and Daikus stepped through, leaving the giant beast by his lonesome. "Yes my lord..."

"Okay so pick up the papers about that one mission entailing the Council and snatch any leftover blood packets," Amoura repeated to herself and she even wrote it down for good measure. Even with her mind having expanded from all the awakenings she's been having she still forgot some of the smallest things in life. It's humiliating to admit she snatched a blood packet and forgot what she was having for dinner back at Hallowton.
"You really should grab some ice cream too."
"It's not a mission to satisfy the sweet tooth. I'll get the better ice cream back home. Devil May Cry really isn't home anymore."
"Because of a certain v--"
"Shut. Up."
"...'kay. Mmm, mint!"
Amoura rolled her eyes at Other and continued climbing up the walkway that led to the famous building. No one as home since they were all busy at another location since a threat had loomed over the horizon. The memories there, the things she learned and time well spe--HOLY MOTHER OF--! That wasn't possible! How did someone else acquire the power she wielded while she was in her Devil Trigger?! The vampiress threw aside the paper and sprinted the rest of the way to seek the source of the destruction; what she saw was a big shock.
Daikus.
The Night Angel dove down and concealed herself before she could have been spotted. Now, this was interesting. Why would he do that? What would drive him to commit such a horrible deed? On a hunch, her Third Eye came into play to scan the hybrid for anything out of the ordinary. What she saw baffled her: his aura was multi-colored, massive and had a very, very irregular pattern all over the silkened surface. What the hell happened to him? He stepped through a portal to a location she was unaware of and left this demon to be the "messenger".
"Oh, oh oh! I've got an idea!"
"That alone concerns me..." She muttered barely above a whisper.
"Trust me--you'll love it."
Somehow she doubted that.
---
Next to the demon, Devil May Cry suddenly seemed to make a return, or rather, was unveiled by a failed power source. It looked, smelled and would feel like the original building--that was the puzzling part about all of this.
---
"This has got to be one of the stupidest things you've ever conjured up." Amoura whispered. The vampire was careful to remain downwind and out of sight.
"Juuuuuuust keep going with the plan! It'll be fun! You need to get some frustration out of you, girl!"
She rolled her eyes but decided to give this a shot. Other wouldn't have been quiet if she didn't...
