Aerith nodded in reply with a smile on her face, that smile soon fading as Ayen asked his next question. Finding it strange that he didn't know the name of the planet. She could overlook not knowing Midgar since she knew very little about the world outside of the city but most people would at least know the name of the planet. Though the Flower Girl couldn't fault him on honesty. That was indeed a strange question but one she was more than happy to answer. "Gaia."

"Gaia."
It was as he feared. This wasn't Genesis, this wasn't anywhere close. He was in a new world altogether. The blonde male finally knew what Yuna and Hotaru must have felt like when they discovered they weren't in their own worlds anymore. He needed to sit down, occupying the front pew by his side as absolute shock could be seen on his face. For once shock that didn't come from his own sparks of electricity flying out every which way. But now the question was: how did he get here? Was Genesis forever lost having merged with this one or did he simply fall through a dimensional rift? Only one way to find out as he stood back up and looked at Aerith.
“Have you seen any strange objects lately? Like a large... Very, very, very large tower that reaches up to the sky in the distance?”

Aerith shook her head regrettably. "I'm sorry. No. Due to the plate built over our heads many of us haven't even seen the sky. We wouldn't be able to see such a tower no matter how large it was."

Plate? Someone built a plate over their heads to where they couldn't see the sky!? What kind of hellhole was this place? It was starting to remind Ayen of Isafaro only instead of darkness generated by their own devices it was a plate instead. If the leader of this place was a psychopath with a little black mustache and a homicidal AI for a mascot he'd fly out of here on his own.
“It's fine. Where would one have to go if they wanted to see the sky?”

"To see the sky?"Aerith thought for a moment. Remembering what she heard about a place in Wall Market which led up above the plate to the entrance of Shinra Headquarters where one could see the sky. She was curious to see this tower too and wanted to go with him. But Shinra HQ was the one place she couldn't afford to be seen. Was it worth the risk? "The Wall Market in sector 6 can take you up high enough to see the sky. It's the fastest way I know. Could you... tell me more about this tower?"

"To see the sky?"
“Yes.”
"The Wall Market in sector 6 can take you up high enough to see the sky. It's the fastest way I know."
“Can you take me there?”
"Could you... tell me more about this tower?"
“Admittedly I don't know much. All I know is that the tower acts as a gateway – a kind of transporter to other worlds. I'm not from this planet. I come from a world called Genesis and right now the tower is the only means I know to get back to my own world.”

He actually wanted her to escort him there? That was a first. Normally people took one look at her and assumed she was a defenseless little girl not good for much, aside from just growing flowers. That knee to the groin must have left more of an impression on him than she thought. "Yes. I just have to stop by my mom's house real quick otherwise she gets worried."Aerith listened with great interest when he explained what the tower did. Bringing a hand up to her chin as a thoughtful expression became visible on her face. "A transporter to other worlds..."A light bulb came on for Aerith as she lightly pounded her fist into her other hand. "I remember now. They were talking about it on TV. Come on I can show you-"Aerith took a few steps forward to where the exit were before she remembered that she had forgotten to introduce herself. Turning back to Ayen to do just that. "Oh! I almost forgot. I'm Aerith."

Reno had tracked Aerith down to the Sector 5 Church in the slums of Midgar, three solders at his side as they entered through the front of the church together. His eyes immediately going to the Flower Girl who were in the middle of a conversation with a stranger he's never seen around before. He paid him no mind, it was Aerith that Shinra wanted. If the boy was foolish enough to get in their way when he'd find out the hard way why you didn't mess with the Turks. Reno walked down the path between two rows of pews and stopped in front of the two. "I'm sorry. Are we interrupting?"He wasn't sorry.

A taller, more stern looking bald-headed gentleman in shades accompanied Reno into the church. Popping his knuckles as they walked towards the pair. His eyes examining the blonde from behind his shades for a moment, trying to gauge what kind of a threat he'd be, if any. But it was too early to tell if he would be a problem at all. Standing by Reno's side as he spoke right after his partner. "The girl will be coming with us."

"Yes. I just have to stop by my mom's house real quick otherwise she gets worried."
“Fine by me.”
"A transporter to other worlds..."
“Yeah. As far as I know the tower has been present in my world for a full year. Problem is no one knows how to use it but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.”
"I remember now. They were talking about it on TV. Come on I can show you-"
“Let's go then.”
"Oh! I almost forgot. I'm Aerith."
“Ayen.”
"I'm sorry. Are we interrupting?"
Ayen turned his head to see Reno, Rude and a couple of military types walking this way. Looking back at Aerith as he quietly asked, “Who are these clowns?”
"The girl will be coming with us."
“What? Is growing flowers illegal?”

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ayen."Aerith bowed her head in a polite greeting before the sound of the church doors opening brought her attention over to three soldiers led by two members of the Turks. Her smile fading into a small frown as she looked at the five and then gave a side glance to Ayen. "They're with Shinra. The company that runs this town. They intend to recruit me."The Flower Girl spoke in a whisper before looking back to the five in turn. Shaking her head in response to the tall one's statement. "I'm not going anywhere with you."

Cloud had felt a connection from Genesis being used. The other world felt a lot like his original home-world Gaia before it was consumed by darkness. He followed the connection via corridor of darkness.. only to arrive in a ruined version of what he remembered his homeworld was like. From what he saw it lay in ruin save for a small church. Two men were entering the church, both wore black suits, and were accompanied by SOLDIERs. Funny.. this must be an alternate universe. However if the turks were here who could they be searching for? He knew who was in that church... and he wasn't going to allow them to take her. He rushed into the church behind them, with his bandaged Buster Sword in Hand. Once in the EX-SOLDIER Cloud pointed his buster sword toward the hostile turk and SOLDIER group saying in a loud and commanding voice, "I need to only say this once, get out...."

Reno snickered at the blonde's statement, snapping his fingers and the three MPs behind them moved up on command. Holding up their machine guns towards Ayen to keep him occupied while Rude had a straight path to grab the girl. "Hey sis, this one's a little weird.""Want him taken out?" asked one of the MPs. "I haven't decided yet. What you think, Rude?"Before Reno could get an answer he heard the door behind them open up again. Turning around in time to see another male with a large blade in bandages demanding that they get out. He spared a glance over to Aerith. "You've been recruiting."Reno took a couple of steps forward to the new arrival, lazily waving Cloud off for him to leave. "Just move along, pal. This doesn't concern you."

It seemed they had more opposition than they thought they would. Only the new arrival appeared to be more ready for a fight than the other two. Regardless, Rude began to make his approach for the Flower Girl while Reno blocked Cloud's path and the MPs kept Ayen at bay.

"They're with Shinra. The company that runs this town. They intend to recruit me."
“Shinra?”
The more Aerith told him about this world, the more parallels it seemed to share with Isafaro. Although the Crimson Vulture was anything but a company. They were also no stranger to hosting forced recruitment drives when they needed men. Or women, in this case.
"I'm not going anywhere with you."
“You heard the lady. Why don't you just run along now?”
Ayen didn't expect it to be that easy. The three machine guns now in his face made that fact abundantly clear.
"Hey sis, this one's a little weird."
“This guy is your brother?”
"Want him taken out?"
"I haven't decided yet. What you think, Rude?"
“Look, I really don't want to fight all three of you...
Unless I have to.”
Ayen brought up his hands and a powerful surge of electricity shot out of them, electrocuting the three soldiers and knocking them unconscious before darting over to Aerith and quickly wrapping an arm around her waist.
“Hold on!”
Taking off into the air and flying through the hole in the roof of the church above.
“Going up!”
