"What are you some kind of one man army?"
Meryl spoke more to herself than anything, definitely not expecting Cazador to answer her in the situation he was in now. Seeing that the mech pilot was blinded by the light Meryl made a run for it. There wasn't even time to check to make sure Rebecca and Nadia was still behind her. She hoped they were. But if not she could adapt because the second the light faded
Meryl would be gone.

It was now or never. Cazador looked to his radar and finally saw the remaining resistance leaving the area. It was time to see just how strong Cazador's armor really was. While his battle with the heavy mech raged on. Some of the reinforcement troops were finally entering the research building to clear out any stragglers. What they didn't know was the building didn't have a soul left in it. All that was left behind was the booby trapped corpse. The troops quickly ran through every room, unable to find any resistance left in the building. After a few minutes of searching, they finally came across their 'wounded' comrade, groaning in pain.
"There's one of ours. He's still alive!"
From the outside Cazador could see on his motion tracker that the troops were about to uncover his surprise. In the moment he was distracted, The heavy once again got its large hands on Cazador. It pinned him to the ground with one hand and lifted up the other. The pilot was planning to launch a barrage of punches at the pinned warrior. Unable to get free from the strength of the mech, Cazador was trapped. However, it looked like this would work in his favor. He could use the mech to shield himself from most of the coming blast. The pilot mocked Cazador, before he prepared to strike him down.
"Say goodnight asshole!"
Cazador smiled under his helmet and responded.
"Goodnight asshole."
Back inside, the Vulture troops, turned the booby trapped corpse on its back revealing Cazador's trap.
"RU..."
Even before he could finish his yell, they were all engulfed in the explosion. The blast quickly traveled throughout the facility. Steel, concrete and flesh were all blasted away. The building crumbled apart as the reinforcements were being totally obliterated. The heavy mech turned around just in time to see his end. The mech ended up holding together, but the heat from the explosion vaporized almost all of the pilot. With the mech covering Cazador's body, he took on a heavy explosion. Several other buildings near by were rocked by the blast. The ones that were already damaged during the fighting quickly collapsed.
As the light cleared, the only thing that could be seen was smoke, rubble, and piles of fried bodies everywhere. Cazador was no where to be seen. For the resistance, it would appear that he had perished in the blast. Little would they know, he was buried under the several thousand pounds of concrete and steel. It would take him some time to dig himself out, but for now he would live on. The resistance fighters would have to go on with out him for now.
OOC: And that's my cue to exit.

Rebecca had to agree that the man seemed invincible, either he was lucky or he was just that skilled in combat, "I don't know about being a one man army, but so far he's doing a grand job of trying to keep up us moving," she said to Meryl as the two of them continued to keep moving behind Meryl. Nadia looked back and looked as though she wanted to help, but Rebecca knew better that the man had a better chance of staying alive if no one else helped him, sounds contradictory but that's kind of the truth Rebecca knew.
