From one world to another ~~OPEN~~

Rebecca nodded as Ayaka asked if this land was in civil war, it seemed that even in this new world war never ceased to continue on, it was a shame that they had to land just as a civil war was raging in this land. This meant that they would have to eventually choose sides and they decided to choose the Resistance rather then Vulture, after all they were more likely to do some good with the Resistance then some damn dictator. Ayaka then seemed to be thinking of something as Nadia seemed worried that daylight was still a long way away before Ayaka told Saber not to engage mostly because they were using bullets as Rebecca nodded slightly.

Saber however seemed stubborn as he told Ayaka that he would continue to protect her before telling Nadia and Rebecca that he preferred to be called Saber as Rebecca nodded while Nadia seemed to shrug slightly. ”That is a good idea about the Resistance stereotypes but to be honest we’re not sure if they are using the underground system” Nadia said as she tied up her red hair that got loose during Saber’s little test, ”also it’s quite dark right now and although we do have your little magic I think it’s best if we just stay here until daylight really does come” before shrugging and letting Rebecca make the final decision.

Rebecca sighed as she scratched her head, she really had no idea what to do, she was just a police officer and really didn’t have any kind of military experience or training but here was an actual soldier letting a police officer do the thinking mostly because Rebecca let slip that she graduated the top of her class at eighteen, ”Hmm…Nadia does have a point, there’s no point in wandering around when we don’t have a planned destination, how about we stop for the day and continue at first light?” she suggested.

The stagnant environment's air started getting to Ayaka. She had never been underground, even back home. She really didn't want to stay down there, but she knew there was no other choice. They were trapped here. There was no way to tell when, or even if they would get back home. With that thought fresh in her mind, Ayaka snapped her head to Saber. "What do you think is happening with the war? Are we considered dead, or will the fight continue until we get back?!" Ayaka's wide, sorrow filled eyes searched Saber's face for an answer.

The only thing Saber's solemn face read was uncertainty. "I'm fairly sure this hasn't happened before... Both situations are a possibility. For all we know, we could be pulled back by the Grail at any given moment." Turning to his Master, Saber shook his head as he spoke. However, the task at hand is what was a problem with him. Saber did agree with Rebecca and Nadia. "I think that we should just sit here for now. If someone were to attack from down there, you three can run to the street... If the opposite were to happen, then we can go deeper down this corridor."[/b]

Saber smiled brightly and waltzed back to the girls. The knight sat down close to them, leaning his back against one of the concrete pillars. Ayaka placed the stone emitting the light between Saber and the girls. Whispering a few words beneath her breath, the light dimmed slightly. She then made her way over to Saber and pulled her skirt close to her legs as she sat down. near him.

"I think it'd only be fair if we heard your story as well."[/b] Ayaka spoke with a coy smile. Saber looked over to her and poked her shoulder, telling her she should be at least a little more polite. She reluctantly agreed and turned her head back to the two girls. "Well, you don't have to if you don't want to, of course."

Rebecca and Nadia had been talking amongst themselves while Ayaka and Saber talked about the Holy Grail War, the two girls didn’t know much about it so it wasn’t fair for them to intrude on it, however they were then asked about their own story as Rebecca looked hesitant to tell something so frightening and traumatic while Nadia looked unsure as well. ”Well…I guess I can tell my own story, although I’m 18 I actually graduated from college with a degree in bio-medicine and chemistry. I was considered a genius and prodigy to many people and in that regards I think I can agree, because of my qualifications I was drafted into Raccoon City’s, my hometown, special police force called S.T.A.R.S. However…my first assignment with S.T.A.R.S nearly became my last” Rebecca said as she drew her knee closer as she remembered every detail on that mission, the horrifying thing that sent her well over the edge and she still have to deal with the nightmares that came with it. ”We were sent to a mountain called the Arklay Mountains where there had been reports of cannibalism, I won’t bore you with the details but in summary there was this company called Umbrella Corporation that was at the top of it’s sector for medicine but the virus that they had engineered…have you ever seen those old zombie movies? They were like that…everyone that got infected got turned into a zombie and only four, including me, managed to get out of that nightmare” Rebecca summarised as she didn’t want to spend too long talking about it.

Nadia moved closer to Rebecca and seemingly brushed her shoulder, her way of comforting the girl as Rebecca smiled at Nadia, ”Since then I retired from the police force but then during the night a portal sucked me in and dropped me here…I met with Nadia soon after and the rest is history.”

”Oui” Nadia replied, ”my story isn’t as terrible as Rebecca but it’s quite traumatic as well, you see from the time I was very little I wanted to be a supermodel, I nearly got into my desired dream but there was the problem of weight…I just can’t seem to stop eating no matter what I do” Nadia said with a laugh as Rebecca giggled with her, ”and so against my better judgement I enlisted in the military thinking that I would take a small detour of my career and then go back to super modelling but little did I know that I would be fighting against a dictator of all things! It was a tough war and I nearly died on several occasions but everything turned out okay. Until that damned portal got me and dropped me here, but I guess it’s not so bad considering that I met with Rebecca here” Nadia said as Rebecca patted the red haired girl’s head.

”I guess you must have had a pretty normal life before the Holy Grail War right Ayaka?” Rebecca asked.

Saber listened intently to the tales from the two girls, while Ayaka waited for him to translate. He was having some trouble wrapping his head around Rebecca's story. "Top of your classes? I don't think I shall think lightly of you when it comes to intelligence."[/b] He spoke with a coy smile until Nadia told her story. Because of the powers of the Grail, Saber somewhat could understand the concept behind a model. "To be honest, neither of you girls look like you belong in the military, or a monster filled nightmare."[/b] Their stories caused his mind to wander. That is, until Ayaka poked him in the side with her elbow.

"... What did they say?" The young Master grumbled while glaring at her Servant. She wasn't used to not knowing what people say right in front of her, considering she lived where she was born. Saber awkwardly explained the history behind the two girls' worlds while Ayaka gazed in amazement. "I could never sit through a zombie movie when I was growing up..."[/b] She turned to Rebecca with concerning eyes. Once she heard Nadia's story, Ayaka said the same thing Saber had previously. When he told her that, she bonked herself on the head and bowed her head in embarrassment.

"Ayaka... I know I haven't asked you this yet but... if you were to get the Grail, what would you wish for?" The question caught Ayaka off guard. She hadn't had a chance to actually think about it before. After hearing the stories from Rebecca and Nadia, she couldn't help but think about the possibilities of other people like them, and their worlds. All she could do was shake her head. She curled her legs up and hugged her knees. "That's a good question." Saber smiled wryly and nodded. Her turned his attention back to Rebecca and Nadia.

"Are we the first people you've met on this world?"

Rebecca smiled at Saber as he complimented her intelligence, it wasn’t really anything special, it wasn’t like she was an absolute genius or anything it was just that she was really smart and that she just happened to graduate at a young age. ”It’s not really anything special” she said with a small laugh as Saber then heard Nadia’s story before commenting that neither of them looked like soldiers as Nadia smirked, ”oui but you shouldn’t judge by what you see…isn’t that something you learn? We may not look like actual soldiers but we’re still tough as other men” she said confidently.

Ayaka was then told by Saber about their stories as her eyes widened, most likely because of Rebecca’s story, Rebecca expected that as she saw the concerned eyes and smiled at her, ”It’s fine Ayaka, I’m mostly okay now, a few nightmares now and again” she said trying hard to smile but finding it hard to actually smile since she knew that she would never be over it, she would always carry that emotional and mental scar.

Ayaka and Saber then discussed what exactly they wanted to wish for after they won the Holy Grail War before Saber asked if they were the first people that Rebecca and Nadia had seen. ”That’s right, we thought we might see some soldiers either Vulture, the dictator’s troops, or some rebels but we haven’t seen either hide or hair from them…you’re the first people we’ve come across” Nadia said with a sigh, ”I just hope we meet them soon.”

[Kragen]

The underground subway began to rumble as a subway train approached their position, the lights drawing from it filling up the otherwise dark tunnel as it began to come to a stop. Those who observed the train could see blood through the windows and bodies on the inside. As soon as the subway train came to a halt there was a sense of urgency and suspense that hung thick in the air. An urgency that grew as the doors slid open and a Vulture's troop fell against the ground with blood pouring out from under him. The Ex-Soldier stepped out of the train, the red eyes of his gas mask glowing and providing a piercing glance through the darkness as he spotted the people in the subway. Not saying a single word, he drew the HK45.

It didn't take much for Nadia's request to come to fruition. Hardly a minute later, a blood bathed train appeared and came to a screeching halt. Saber jumped up to his feet as he summoned his Invisible Air. The scene before the group of four was a rather horrifying one. Blood and corpses decorated the interior of the train. It was intense enough for Ayaka to cover her mouth and look away. "You may want to get some distance Ayaka."

Saber's words were nearly a whisper, hardly audible over the sound of the train. The Master nodded and crept a few feet away from Saber, however staying within a reasonable distance. The train's door opened to reveal a body that dropped to the floor. Ayaka had to close her eyes at this point. Saber's gripped tightened on his weapon. A man appeared from behind the corpse. The Servant's eyes narrowed as he glared at the newcomer. Clad entirely in black, even the mask which his his face was black, albeit for the red glow that emitted from the eyes. Shortly after revealing himself, the man drew a gun on the group. "Are you with Vulture? If you are, you must see that you are outnumbered. It'd be wise to lower your gun."

Well that'll teach Nadia to open her mouth as a screeching halting sound of a train alerted everyone as Rebecca and Nadia immediately took to their defensive position as they drew out their handguns while Saber used his invisible sword to protect his master, none of them had any idea whether or not Vulture troops will come out or rebels from the Resistance they had no idea, but whatever came out of that train they were more then ready to take them on.

As the train door opened a corpse flopped out of it followed by a man clad completely in black and wearing a black mask with only two red eyes as Nadia was reminded of black op soldiers who killed without any hesitation while Rebecca was reminded of the same thing but with more fear as they looked like Umbrella Corporation soldiers. Saber then warned the man that he was outnumbered as Rebecca and Nadia drew their guns and aimed it at the man waiting for his response.

[Kragen]

Kragen looked the four over. They were definitely new here if they couldn't recognize a Vulture soldier when they saw one. The Ex-Soldier wasn't alone however. Several soldiers the Resistance recruited back in Sector 4 was present on the train with him, using the inside as cover as they were prepared to break out the windows and start firing on Kragen's command. He didn't give the order to fire as he continued to look between the four. "Why are you here?"

Saber's steadfast posture failed to change as he glared at the figure before him. Saber could tell he was well trained. His attire seemed to be rather heavy, and he moved in it with ease. There was something off about him though. "What did he say?"[/b] Ayaka's words were usually hard to understand to most since she's Japanese, but even in her native tongue, her whispers were hardly understandable by Saber. It took him a moment, but he translated what the man said.

"Rebecca, Nadia.. If something breaks out, keep Ayaka covered. Bullets are the least of my problems in this situation." The Servant stared down the man. He clasped his left hand on his Invisible Air's hilt in a ready fighting stance. His eyes never left the figure, trying to see the slightest sign of nervousness or hesitation. However, the man's figure was resolute. "It depends on who you are. If you're Vulture, I'm afraid I'll have to cut you down. The four of us were thrown into this world not too long ago. All we know is that this city is in a civil war... Possibly against a dictator."[/b] Saber smiled wryly. "And if you are Vulture, I can only pray he burns."

Both girls looked at Saber as he told them to cover Ayaka, that was the most logical choice at this moment in time, they can also provide cover to Saber from where they were as Rebecca dragged Ayaka to her. It was true with what Saber said, if the man was with Vulture then they will have to fight it out as there was no way they were going to join such a person, but if they were with the Resistance then they would have to hope that they will allow them to join in. Because if only the four of them out there alone with no one else to back them up then they will one day be outnumbered and more then likely eliminated.

[Kragen]

"This is Vulture." Kragen kicked the corpse over, showing the front where the Vulture insignia could be clearly seen on his vest and shoulder. The trigger finger of the soldiers inside the train were itching but they knew better than to go out of turn where the Ex-Soldier was concerned. No matter how messed up mentally they all were, Kragen's mind was worse. Far worse. "Anyone with that insignia is an enemy. And they will eat you alive."

Saber's eyes finally adverted from the figure and fell to the corpse. He took note of the symbol on his shoulder. He turned his gaze back up to the man in the mask and let out a light chuckle. "So you are of the resistance? Well then, I'm glad that we happened to run into each other. Saber lowered his weapon and took a few steps toward the man.

Ayaka stared at her Servant and stepped from behind Rebecca. "Even though you aren't human, do show respect, you idiot." Ayaka's words to her Servant were stern. Saber nodded and rest his left hand on his hip while still holding tight to his Invisible Air. "I can assure you, that symbol is nowhere to be found on any of us. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Saber."

Both girls were glad that they managed to find someone from the Resistance, it would have been a huge problem if they had met someone from Vulture instead, both of them then came out of cover as Saber talked to the soldier as they memorised the insignia of all Vulture troops so they would recognise them in the future as Saber introduced himself, "I'm Rebecca Chambers" Rebecca replied, "i'm Private Nadia Cassel" Nadia followed with a small wave.

[Kragen]

"Kragen." Was all the Ex-Soldier said in response before the subway rumbled again indicating that a second subway train was on its way, stopping behind the first. Only this one was no friend as Kragen and his men fled from their subway train completely over to the nearby pillars. "Take cover." As soon as he finished those words the Vulture's patrols came out of the subway train and began firing from their rifles, equipped in special tactical armor with energy shields on top. The Ex-Soldier stood behind a pillar in the middle of the room as his men spread out, waiting for the shots to dive down before peering around and unloading a couple of shots with his HK45 aimed towards the device producing their energy shields.
