He had laid her in the bed. It was sunny out, light filtering through the Venetian blinds and tracing lines over the scene. Refugees below were filtering into Hallowton like the light through the blinds. He had arrived ahead of the rest and ducked into a small Inn, hoping to properly catch up with his old friend. Or was she his old friend Amoura had changed before Clash's eyes, suddenly lashing out and greatly wounding that midget-pope everyone seemed to really like.
Then taking on Sparda and needing to be bumped. That was bananas.
Clash loomed over Amoura, still a human but staring intently. Almost frozen in wide-eyed disbelief, his own face inches from hers, blond stubble on his chin and Shark and Awe at his hip. There were signs of frostbite on him, his skin was still a little chapped and he looked tired. He'd had a long day but he wasn't ready to end it yet. That and Amoura was in his bed and it'd just be weird if she woke up next to him, people would start to talk.

Already the vampire was stirring and her eyes fluttered open only to come face-to-face with human-form Clash. Amoura wasn't familiar with this, having only seen the shark, and she did what any woman would do if a man just so happened to hover over them: she slapped him, and hard. Shortly after that, she rolled over, sprung
"Really?! While I'm unconscious?! Have you no sense whatsoever?!"
Wait a minute. If she was here, where was Miracle?! Amoura looked around for her but there was no trace--there was just the smell of her blood on her fingers.
"Where is she?! Is she alright?! I swear if she's dead because of her I'll--!"
No, calm. Amoura planted her hands on her head, inhaled, exhaled and repeated that process until she could get a few clarified thoughts spurring.
"...where am I?"

Clash finally found out what happens when a Vampire slaps a human. There was a fantastic popping noise accompanying the sound of hand meeting face. He felt his legs give out and he sprawled across the floor. He tried to get up. "Waaaaugh!"
Then Clash was a paraplegic.
His human neck had been snapped and he couldn't move, not even make his finger twitch. He could do one thing though. There came a sudden sound, a simple "Click" as his body seemed to shudder. Parts moving as he opened, a metal frame emerging and expanding, a light flared from inside the shifting shells as his human form vanished within the moving gears and shifting plates. He became a shark again. "Owwww... That broke something!"
Clash sank into the ground, then his head emerged from the water. His shark form was unharmed, and his self-repairing capabilities would right any wrongs to his human body. For now, though, he stared at Amoura, she was talking about Miracle, saying somebody else did the deed of stabbing her. She seemed to calm down, though. That was good. "You're in an Inn... huh, that' fun to say. In an Inn... In an Inn... hehehe." Gah, Distracted, Bad Shark!
"Anyways, I brought you here after that kafuffle out in the frozen thingy, after that laundry pile blew up. You seemed to wig out for a bit and you beat up Sparda, if I didn't save him you would've torn him a new corn hole then put corn in it, or something. What happened out there?"
Clash's headlight eyes focused on Amoura, looking more worried than anything else.

"I think the bed makes it obvious that it is an Inn." Amoura pocketed her hands, "And to explain what happened, long story short, I've got another being in my head that's not an Arashi."
"HIIIIIIIIIII!"
"OTHER, SHUT THE FUCK UP!" She screamed. To Clash, there was nothing to yell at but for Amoura, Other was all too real. For the time being she wasn't a voice in her head but had gained a physical form in her eyes. That smug bitch was sitting on the bed, legs crossed and filing her nails. Her body was see-through, so she wasn't really there.
"I swear to god, you selfish whore, if you pull that shit again I'll make your life fucking miserable!"
Other looked at her, shrugged, made a small "meh" sound and resumed filing her claws. This only succeeded in infuriating her more.

Clash tilted his head a little, listening to Amoura's description of her personal demon. Then came that word again; Arashi. Clash made a mental note of it. It was filed in his memory with the Council and the Legion of the Abyss: Inferior to Sharks. Amoura then started to shout at someone Clash was unaware of, they were a selfish whore though, Clash could have a chance with her.
He knew how to deal with this though, he rented A Beautiful Mind and totally watched it twice!
"Woah, just take a chill pill" Clash held his fins up as though they were hands, then gave a small smile as he spoke. "Where did this 'Other' come from? She's causing you trouble and the enemy of my friend is my other enemy!" Clash swayed slightly, then spoke again. "Ignore her, let me know if there's anything I can do to help with this malady that has afflicted you."

"'Other' just so happens to be me from an alternate universe that I was trapped in for twenty-five fucking years!" Amoura stormed to where Other was sitting and desperately tried to swing at her image, to make her go away--fuck this was getting annoying.
Wait, there was one thing she didn't like.
"Other, I'm giving you three seconds, exactly three seconds, to get your ass out of here before I use the Nightmare."
Other dropped her nail file, looked horrified and quickly vanished in a puff of blue smoke.
Don't have to be so rude!
"Yeah, bite me! Things are messed up because of your choice to attack Miracle! Now I'm the bad guy!"
Psh! She deserved it! Now back to my ice cream.
Amoura smacked her palm against her forehead.

"Amoura?" Clash swam closer to her, bumping a table and knocking over a chair. Admittedly his shark-form was rather big and didn't necessarily work for the hotel room, but his options were limited at this time. He looked to where Amoura bent her eyes, to the space that this Other occupied. He could not see what tormented his friend, and he knew this was Amoura's battle, but her burden gauled him.
"I can vouch for you, I can tell the others of this Other, and pass your apology on to Miracle if you wish. I believe she survived and considering that she is some kinda midget pope I'm quite sure she'll forgive you. That's what popes of all sizes do, forgive people and wear funny clothes."
Clash watched Amoura facepalm, shit was getting real it seems. He lulled to one side slightly, the act of tilting his large head causing his whole body to shift. She threatened a corner of the room with the Nightmare. this was not good. He wished to help, to get into Amoura's head and find this other and declare their need to fellate him under decree of his sharky virtue. His pleading eyes moved back to The Night Angel.
"Is Other gone, Amoura?"

"She's always there, Clash. Other won't leave my head. Now now, not ever--she's constantly taunting me." Amoura shook her head at Clash's words and scratched the back of her head. No, she couldn't possibly let him do that but all the same she refused to approach them. The hybrid was now an enemy in their eyes, or a threat and that didn't sit well with her already troubled mind.
"...I'm going for a walk. If Miracle wants to find me I'll be in the park." Instead of waiting for a reply or word from Clash, she opened the window and dove out of it into the night. It was time to clear her head or find a way to relax...
