The Librarian is always in his hooded robes, which barely keep themselves off the floor. Always with a book in hand, and a calm almost emotionless face. His bright red eyes are one of the few features about this shy, quiet individual.
Special Abilities:
Book Barrage: releasing from the furls of his robe several thousand pages, each with a magic rune written in some sort of glowing ink. These pages are sent at the target in a sontrant stream of about 100 per second. The paper-cuts you get from these a re a lot more serious than one might think; their ability to tear apart limbs and people well documented.
Voice of Death: Sings the "Death Song", the song of the reapers for a vast variety of effects, depending on the song. From healing and even creating weapons of magic, to simply fortifying allies, the song of a reaper is a versatile weapon indeed.
Archaic Intermission: The Librarian known magic and abilities to such a degree that not only can he analyse an opponents magical attacks on site, he can re-direct magic missiles and other enchanted projectiles back to their origin. This also allows for the Librarian to most other magic effects into rather debilitating curses, often doing to opposite of what the target wanted.
Death Run: An attack that preys on even the strongest minds; making the target suffer their worst nightmares, attacking them with fear before scythes finish with a massive onslaught of slashes.
Weapons: Books: Using enchanted books, The Librarian can either launch a volley of enchanted paper daggers, or attack at close range with seemingly random weapons, even to The Librarian.
Magic: Knowing most arcane and holy (and even unholy) magics, he can use magic in conventional and unorthodox ways; though the less commonly used ways are far more rare, as the Librarian dislikes the perversion of magic.
Scythe: His plain, rather boring scythe is seemingly unbreakable; made from the same metal as Grey's own scythe. A master of this weapon with the finesse of many world re-known swordsmen, he's a force to be reckoned with in any combat situation.
History:
The Librarian has always been a part of the Great Library; home of the Eclipse Knights. Created when the Library was by hands unknown, the reaper Librarian was tasked with the maintenance and protection of the books and their secrets. The Eclipse Knight Grey Everlost signed an agreement to obtain the books; though this agreement was lost in the "Joining". The Librarian has since been protecting and watching over the books and scrolls of the Library, which also inspired Grey to read every tome the Librarian passed unto him.
While he does not approve of her, he tolerates the human woman Lia, and the Librarian serves the order of Eclipse almost as well as the Library he is bound to.
He may leave this Library, it seems, to collect more knowledge. Since waking in the Library after the joining, however, he has been curious about the world, and sets off in search of Genesis' knowledge and history to record it in the Library.
Personality: The Librarian is a kind, well-mannered young man, witty and intelligent. He does find it difficult to even speak to ladies, however; his incredible shyness even crippling his ability to speak or sing coherently. Seeking only to gather knowledge, he finds that he also seeks for something that he could not find in books - friends.
Having only ever dealt with books before, socially he is clumsy and may say things that sound cold, unkind, and with a conviction that is both naive and rather admirable. However, around women he is quieter than the Library itself, since he is not sure how to deal with them or his own emotions.
Not an ounce of ill will in his body, he tends to simply read when threatened in the hopes that ignoring the problem will make it go away, or that he can find a more peaceful solution within the texts before a fight is begun.
