Magoichi wandered around the Downward Spiral hoping that she would be able to meet at least someone from her world, it had been a while since she last searched for someone, her job at Hellsing has kept her busy with the demons running ramapant throughout Genesis. At first she had been a little, alright very, frightened at the sight of actual demons…true Nobunaga might have been called the Demon King but he paled compared to what these true demons were capable of. However as time went on she had gotten used to the sight of these demons and now she was much more knowledgeable in how to kill them effectively, but right now she had gotten time off to search the Downward Spiral for her own world, it was known that this is the place where many of the dimensions had merged together.
Somehow she had a feeling that she wouldn’t be able to find her world so easily, she did miss her old army and she wondered if she would be able to see them ever again, she would even be happy to see that annoying Chief of Oshu Masumane Date if only he would tell her what had happened to her world. But alas until that time comes perhaps she should continue to wander in search of it, if she didn’t find her world today she would have to go back to Hellsing and continue working for Integra, she wasn’t a bad employer but the fact she employed the most strangest of people was something that Magoichi had yet to get used to.
She then stopped for a moment near a dead tree and a boulder to get some rest, she scanned the area for any sign of danger, one could never be too sure that he or she was safe until she had grown the talent of spotting danger, it was one of the many things that Magoichi had learned when she was a mere soldier under the original Magoichi.

...N.
Something's wrong. Normally when one is stuck in a limbo state inside a black obelisk of absolute emptiness you'd feel nothing. No senses. No, this is wrong. She can see. She can see black. Maybe it was always black, or maybe it wasn't black at all, and her eyes had merely malfunctioned. Regardless, the simple fact that she can think This is black. is proof that she was conscious. No, she's not in her limbo anymore.
But it was still too early. Diana's mind hasn't fully rebooted. No, far from it. She almost forgot what black was. Sentience is a complicated matter, as is consciousness. As she stayed in that forced limbo, her mind had stopped. And yet, her soul did not. She has been moving through everywhere, even if her body was still not at the obelisk. Obelisk, obelisk... The Obelisk was black. Yes, memories now. Full thoughts. Stream of consciousness was back, the mundane mental monologues that constantly fed thoughts and interpreted data. It was running now. Her senses were coming back, but for how long? Even if she was sentient, the world around her was without sense. Black, no feeling, no emotion. But where was she?
She had been in a state of "black", and empty world within her limbo. But was that white? Many thought that the spiritual could only be approached in that emptiness, in that meditation. She could believe such statements, she knew that emptiness, though this was the first time she fully felt limbo. What was it she saw within that limbo? Diana's mind was fully operational now, and in flooded the information. Yes, her mind had traveled. She was in a void, and had somehow managed to get physical form through her lack of mental stream. As a spirit given body, she had traveled to other planes. And now she has returned. But to where? So did that mean this place is "Black", and the other "White"? Yes, there was a light in front of her now. She can see herself, her body. Well, was it her body? It was unclothed, so perhaps it was her spirit? She couldn't know. All she saw was white. Her mind continued to pump in information, it was roaring inside as she could now see light, see body, feel body, taste the emptiness within her. She was Diana, not the black.
Diana ran forwards, towards the light, towards the chance to escape from the limbo she had been in for who knows how long? Her sense of time was ruined, and her memories seemed to interpret years of travel, but her body seemed to have never aged. Wasn't this how she entered the limbo? Blindly running towards something, hoping to grasp it? No, last time she was running for the black. Here is the white.
...
The previous events only passed for a minute. Diana woke up. She was outside. The world was new though, unlike the Lost World where she once lived. Lived within the Void, the black. No, this was not the same world. But here it was, the exact same obelisk where she had hibernated within. Here is her body, fully clothed as how it was before she entered. Here was her consciousness, her identity as Diana Lucra Denarius. She was alive. Taking a few steps forwards, she examined her surroundings. In the distance was a tree and a boulder. In her proximity was the rebooted Veil, wrapping her form in the blanket of a psychic mist, which only served to help her travels. It was growing, and soon, even without her movement, she could probably reach the tree with nothing but the Veil itself. But no, she must travel. Diana shook her head, and walked towards the tree.
Hence started the mundane black of life, as opposed to the white bliss of death.

Magoichi had been enjoy a rather good drink, she was tired and dehydrated from walking aimlessly around the place, she had seen so many different dimensions she couldn’t be sure if she had passed hers by accident but hadn’t realised it. She had the plan that if she didn’t find anything today she would go to Utopia, a place where everyone from different worlds converged, and tried to find someone from her world…who knows? Perhaps she would get to meet someone there as that would be the most logical place to go stay if you were lost. But if she still couldn’t find anyone here in Downward Spiral then she would have to forget about it and go back to Hellsing, it would be a disappointing return as she had hoped that she would be able to at least bring several of her men with her, she felt better acquainted with her own men rather then the Wild Geese mercenary though the mercenaries had treated her with respect she knew it was only because she was a better shot then some of them were.
As she sat down she heard the crunch of someone approaching the place as she snapped her head to see a lone figure walking towards her, although it didn’t look like a demon no doubt this place also had their share of bandits and Magoichi was not going to fall to such vile men as she immediately took out her revolver and pointed it at the figure, ”Halt! Walk no further!” she commanded, ”Who are you and what are you doing here?” she asked sternly her eyes darting left and right in case more men were going to come and attack her en masse, she had dealt with whole armies before, several bandits should not pose a problem for her.

Her mind was enveloped in thought now, recapping the old events, seeing if they could make sense of the sudden scramble of everything that had happened all those "years" past, trying to connect them to her body. Has she changed body? Was she still Diana? Where was she? She hadn't changed form, seeing as how her body was exactly as how it was when she first entered limbo. She still had to be Diana Lucra Denarius. All matches up to it perfectly. Cognito Ergo Sum, right? Where was she was her only problem. There was someone there, though. She could at least start with this person. Was there even a person when she first looked? She didn't know anymore.
But this person was hostile. Military type, looking at the type of gun and the way the person looked around, how they moved. She didn't want combat, but it wasn't like she was going to risk losing the life she had just re-grasped. The path to take, for her, was obvious. Keeping her mind clear from annoyance of the person's paranoid attitude (despite being slightly paranoid of this person as well). The field underneath her snapped into full view, a blue radiance surrounding them. It has been growing this entire time, and now the entire 45 meters around her was enveloped in a blue rune. Like paint on the old farm wall, the rune's intricate writing began peeling off the circle, and began changing form. Turning from cohesive cursive to sphere and droplets of ink, before reforming as a florescent blue magic circle, floating silently by Diana's side. The same was being done with all the runes, until all four directions of her had at least one rune, waiting orders.
There was no point to stay silent, though. As the runes began to form, she spoke. Confidently, that was how it had to be done. Not loud, but rather, confident. Although, compared to the brutish roars of the military woman, her statements must sound rather soft in comparison. "Diana Lucra Denarius, researcher for the Juperos Colony Research Foundation."
The field was turning from the blue to a golden color as she continued speaking. The rune on the ground split and melted, turning into a large series of alchemic arrays. While it was a pretty light show, it wasn't exactly intimidating and it certainly wasn't an attack of any sorts... though it could be interpreted badly. "But who are you?"

Magoichi watched as the female figure stopped and looked at her before some sort of strange blue light appeared beneath her and then strange markings appeared as Magoichi took a step back. She had never seen this kind of magic before and she cursed herself for being too quick on the uptake, perhaps she should have asked first before doing this, but she would have done this anyways as she was a battle-hardened woman and rarely did she not draw her weapon at a stranger. The runes then changed shape and moved around as though it had a life of it’s own, no matter where she looked she saw runes and no doubt this was some sort of attack that would keep her pinned down but also at the same time keep her trapped in the area as she moved around a bit trying to gauge what the other woman would do.
The female figure did however answer Magoichi’s question on who she was as Magoichi had not heard of that particuluar organisation nor had Hellsing heard of it either, it must have been relatively new or at the very least well below radar as the Hellsing organisation has many intelligence networks. The lone figure then asked her own question as the rune changed colour and Magoichi took out a second revolver in case she needed both weapons, ”I am Magoichi Saika working under Hellsing, I am here seeking my own world” she declared looking at the woman without a hint of fear in her eyes.

Magochi Saika... Saika rung a bell, but it wasn't much for her to go on. The Japanese were a broken group, splitting themselves into families so they could gorge on self-induced honor, believing that they alone had authority and could create privileges amongst themselves. Rather than focusing on enhancing their spirituality, the clans would manipulate religion to make sure they had support and so people would not rise up. It was a dangerous thing, Japan during those days... It was shocking how the information would just flow through her mind, as if it was second nature to her. But she had these memories. Memories of times and places she had never even experienced firsthand, but rather through memories of... what essentially was another version of her. It was too confusing for her to try and wrap all it together, so for now, she'll have to forget about it.
Back to the scene at play. It was still tense, but they had skipped formalities, which already meant that the situation was less likely to be a killing spree. Though both sides were now even more prepared for combat, Diana was fine with conversation at this point. Though she'll maintain Golden Transmutation, there was no real plan to use it anytime soon. "I recently left my world accidentally, though I'm a bit more interested in what I've found. However, let's leave my matter in the hands of another future day. I am unfamiliar with the Hellsing Organization."

Magoichi had been in many combat situations that turned out to not be combat situations, it had always amused her how prepared people were to not fight when it came to it, although Magoichi had no intention of surrendering if a fight was to occur she certainly did not want to fight with the woman. The Japanese had a strong sense of honour, the samurais even more, Magoichi had picked up on this long ago and she too had a sense of honour that matched those of the most worthy warlords. That was one of the reasons she did not attacked the woman immediately, that and the fact that she had no idea what the runes were about and she didn’t want to find out what kind of damage they could cause.
Now that the tension of a fight was somewhat relaxed the woman asked her about the Hellsing organisation, she seemed to not care that she was no longer in her own world, Magoichi wondered if she really didn’t care or it was because it was a coping mechanism that the woman was doing right now. ”The Hellsing Organisation is an organisation that strives to protect humanity from supernatural creatures such as vampires, demons and the like…they employ skilled people such as myself as well as other supernatural creatures though more or less it was due to circumstances well beyond Integra’s influence…if I have to say they are much like Sorin’s people though less fanatical” as she muttered the last sentence to herself.

With a quick flourish of her hands, the runes disappeared. Okay, not entirely. She still actually had one floating on the palm of her hand, but that shouldn't be visible for our little accomplice here. To Magoichi, it looks like she removed any possible form of combat. But of course, she didn't even know what the runes did in the first place. Really, she didn't know anything about the character. Well, the field wasn't vanishing no matter what. Though it made an impressive light show when Diana first entered the stage, the circle underneath them remained stagnant. Wasn't planning to have an encore performance, it seemed.
Now, about the Hellsing Organization... it seems like a good cause. In worlds like these, supernatural beings were always up to no good, and with the sudden free travel between them, it was only a matter of time before a group of Celestials or Fallens teamed and took over a few worlds. What? Don't know what those people are? Good, you don't need to. Diana ignored Magoichi's mutterings and nodded. "A noble cause. The well being of humans must always be considered and preserved. Though I always feel skeptical towards a group that would so readily harm what is essentially another life. In most circumstances, though... Self-defense is very much different from a holocaust. It's good to know that even in foreign lands like these, people keep a level head."
It's odd to see Diana act like this, one must admit. Although it certainly could be a natural reaction to being in an uncontrollable situation, or maybe it was Diana's mind still trying to unscramble itself... There certainly is the fact that perhaps Diana was never to fond of her old world before. Perhaps the promise of new people, magic, and creatures in an unknown world was so exciting for her, and that she would readily abandon her old life for the success in a new life. It would certainly suit her.
"I'm wondering where I am. Though it matters little now, I just need to know where I should go, and how to get there."

Magoichi sighed in relief as the runes disappeared, it probably meant that the woman didn't think of Magoichi as a threat anymore, or it could mean that she just trusted the woman for now. Either way Magoichi could relax and try to act friendly towards the other female figure, go figure that Magoichi would be the one to start a fight when normally she was brought into a fight to stop it.
The other woman seemed to be interested in the Hellsing Organisation, for Magoichi it was just another employer employing her, but at the same time she also agreed that it was good organisation for anyone to join...protecting humans from supernatural threats hasn't always been high on Magoichi's list but right now it was one of the highest priority other then finding a job and surviving, because if the Demon Army were to destroy all of humanity then Magoichi would be counted among the dead. In short she was glad to serve under Integra but she would never openly tell her that, she was still too prideful of her own self of identity.
"Well if you don't have anywhere else to go or to do, you could join me. I'm trying to locate my world or someone from my world at least, if I do succeed then I'll bring them to Hellsing since it's more then likely they don't have a real home to go to, but if I can't find my world or anyone from there you're more then welcome to come with me since I'm going back to Hellsing anyways. It's dangerous here if you're not careful, there's always Utopia but I'm betting it'll get crowded real soon" Magoichi replied calmly as she looked for a reaction from the other woman.

Diana's stance on Hellsing is probably... neutral leaning to negative-ish. Military-like groups were not her slice of cake. Juperos felt enough of a military thing to make her stray away, and the Kankei as a whole was annoying at the very least. Really, being the person that she was, she'd rather just be alone with one or two esoteric groups, focusing her entirety the research of anti-magic and the idea of Enlightening other beings. Not that she herself was fully enlightened, but you get the idea. A real utopia of spiritual ascension. That sounded better than some sort of hierarchy of blood as most people would prefer. It was such a horrible thing, wasn't it? Hellsing could do what they wanted without her, and she could do without Hellsing. That was that.
Diana chuckled lightly and shook her head. "As I've said. All I need is a place to go and a way to get there. I'm not one for protecting, though I suppose I could do a good job with that. Now... I'm not sure. Certainly, I am in no position to meet with too many people..." She frowned and clutched her stomach lightly. Guess a few insert-unknown-measurements-of-time-since-who-knows-how-long-she-was-in-limbo does empty out the stomach. Diana had been feeling a bit under the weather since she first came out, but she had completely forgotten her physical state of body. Her stomach was in pain, and checking for her hydration status was something she did NOT want to find out about.
Despite her new-found problems, she managed to look up at her "friend" here and crack a smile. "I've... I've been asleep for much too long... I don't need to worry about danger. Death and life mean nothing to those who are in tune with Our Creator." She tried to regain some composure by standing upright, sighing lightly. "How do I get to Utopia, and how may I travel to the lands beyond it? Where, might I ask, may I find some magic to work with?"

Magoichi frankly didn’t care if the girl wanted to join Hellsing or not, it wasn’t like she wanted more companionship, she didn’t care for that as the only companions that she ever wanted were her own men. However if the girl did not plan on joining Hellsing then at the very least it seemed that she wanted to join the organisation solely for protection purposes…the idea was quite sound as the more allies you had the more protection you have regardless of whether or not your like your allies. The Saika Renegades also lived by those rules as they could be allies with one clan one day and then enemies the next, after all it was a matter of Magoichi choosing who was the strongest in all of Japan, since the strongest would naturally have the Saika Renegades at their side.
Magoichi then heard the churn of a hungry stomach as she looked at the girl, how typical that the first person she meets would be a hungry person, stifling a sigh she went to her bag and grabbed some bread before giving it to the girl, ”Here eat…it sounds like you need it” Magoichi said as she heard the girl’s story about sleeping, death and life, and magic? All of this didn’t make any sense to Magoichi but from what she could gather it seemed that the girl had been asleep for quite some time and now she was looking for magic…well she wasn’t paid to think all of these complicated things, ask her about battle strategies and she would be able to answer you with that, but anything else is out of her jurisdiction.
”You were asleep? From what you’re saying it almost sounds that you’re not human” Magoichi said with a smirk as she still did not believe in magic despite what she had seen with Hellsing, ”quite personally I do not believe in magic, I wouldn’t know anyone or any place that has magic. But if you come with me to Hellsing I believe Integra might have the answers you look for, she has a vast intelligence network and she’s quite knowledgeable, so perhaps that is one path you can take.”

Diana laughed and took the bread, bowing to generous host. She nibbled lightly at an edge, worrying that taking too many bites would trigger some sort of reminder to the body that, surprise, water is probably going to be the next problem. Even if she was just getting small bits at a time, the food was simply divine for her. Nothing wrong with it... at least for now. Her hunger was far from sated, but it did take the edge off the pangs in her stomach.
She tried to laugh at Magoichi's comment about her not being human, but all that came out was a dry chuckle, followed by a frown. At first, it would seem rather funny. An anti-mage with the ability to create from almost "Exnihilo". Yet... it was also too concerning. Diana had been asleep this entire time, and her mind seemed to have taken in so much. Mentally, she has surely changed. Then... what was stopping her from being changed both spiritually and physically? What was there to say that the Diana she was right now, was human? Well... ...It was too dark of a thought for now. Still submerged in her own mental stream, she gave a small, weakened reply. "Perhaps that is one path..."

Magoichi watched as the girl began to nibble on the bread, the girl reminded Magoichi much about her own life before she met her mentor, it was simply a routine way of surviving each day and fighting off the pangs of hunger and sometimes the harsh winter snap. She remembered how she met her mentor, nearly on the edge of death he had took her to his camp and fed her, protecting her from the other men who wanted her out of the camp. In time she began to stick with him, though initially she wanted to leave but realised that without a way of life she would only regress back to her previous predicament. From then on her entire life revolved around the Saika Renegades and the rest, as they say, is history.
The girl seemed to be thinking deeply about something, perhaps on her own current predicament, Magoichi wondered what her past was like…for her to say that she had been sleeping for a long time truly that was a work of magic if she Magoichi had to guess. But such things could also happen in many different ways as the girl mused Magoichi’s offer, ”You have not told me your name yet” Magoichi stated as she poked the dirt beneath her with her boots, ”nor tell me the reason you have been sleeping for a long time…”

Diana sat down and began talking, pausing every so often as she continued working at the bread given to her. "Then you are deadly mistaken. I did give you my name. It's Diana Lucra Denarius, researcher at the Juperos Colony Research Foundation. Lovely place, by the way.
Ahem... Reason why I was sleeping... Um... it's not really sleep more than it is... coma, actually. I found this obelisk on a solo operation in the wilderness area. It was simply black, glowing with random runes every so often. I stayed there, entranced by the large building. And then, it showed me... it showed me the Sephiroth, the assumed gateway to the Tree of Life, New Jerusalem, the Gate to Heaven. Ahem... I couldn't help but to bring both my hands to the proper circles... and then my body was absorbed. I can't remember anything past that."
She finished what was left of her bread and stood up again. A new idea had struck her. "Now... what if that gateway was the Sephiroth? The actual gateway? But perhaps it's not a gateway to Heaven, but rather... a gateway to new worlds? If that is the case, if I brought my hands to a different rune this time, perhaps I would travel again! As long as the obelisk exists, I can continue traveling and researching this teleportation magic!"

Magoichi didn't really understand most of what Diana was saying but she got the gist of it. Sleeping for a long time? That seemed ridiculous to the red haired woman, but if touching this 'obelisk' could send Diana into another world then perhaps it could send Magoichi back to her world as well. "Diana-san could you tell me more about this obelisk? By what you are saying it seems as though that this object has the power to teleport people into another world...could that be possible?"
