Whistles could be heard coming from the crowd as April, dressed in a black sports bra and matching gym shorts, stepped inside the steel cage and waited for her first opponent to make an entrance. Wrapping the fingerless black leather gloves tightly around her hands as she waited, ignoring the whistles and remembering why she was here. April began to stretch all while keeping her eyes on the cage door for her opponent's arrival.

Great, he got to fight a girl. Boy was he going to look like an ass if he beat the shit out of her in the cage. "Ready?" A bead of sweat dripped from his nose as he was finishing his warm up. He nodded and started making his way out to the cage. Everything he had been told, she probably didn't have a ground game.
His grappling gloves ready, the wrist straps tapped with red tape. Frost was greeted by an official who checked him for weapons a cup and a mouth piece while being explain the rules before he stripped of his shirt and shoes. He climbed into the ring wearing his board-shorts and went to his corner, waiting for the bell to ring.

April hunched down, her hands on her knees as she watched the man enter the cage. Looking him up and down he didn't seem all too happy about fighting against a woman. After seeing how the last guy acted around the woman he fought that was a good sign around here. April straightened up just as the bell rang, cracking her neck and holding up her fists to protect her chin as her legs were ready to come alive the second he came for her. It was finally time to see what she could do.

The bell rung and he took a moment before getting in his stance and pacing around the ring near her. He took a moment to observe her, her height which would calculate into her reach with her hands and feet. Her body type which would play into her over all endurance as far as how much of beating she could take. The only thing left to check...
He threw a feint Jab to see what her reaction would be.

Everything slowed down for Lori as if someone pressed the instant slow mode button. The roar of the crowd around them became deafening as her opponent's moves slowed to such an extent she had all the time in the world to observe it. Where it began, where it ended and that it wasn't meant as a real attack. No reaction would come from April after the feint was made. She never broke her stance.

And that would be her down fall. The feint was nothing, it covered up his movement as a vicious round house was seconds from connecting to the lower side of the calf just below the knee. Combo it up, one, two. All that good shit. Any good fighter knew just because one can see your opponents movements doesn't necessarily mean you'll be able to react to what they might follow up with.

He'd hear a whistle coming from behind his position, through a burst of godspeed April had already moved to his rear evading his follow-up attack altogether and launching a punch towards his head.

Her punch was well out of range. It didn't matter, god speed or not he leaned sideways slipping her punch before ramming his elbow at her face which she neatly positioned right there.

The elbow connected and an "Ooh!" sound came from the crowd watching as April staggered back but quickly regained her balance. Not wanting to think about how much that would have hurt if her endurance weren't twice that of an average male's. There was still plenty of space left between her back and the cage wall so she kept her distance and waited for the man to come to her.

Instead, Frost just turned and rolled his shoulders. Him and his street fighting experience helped that technique he just did a lot. "What? I pop you once and now you're on the defensive?"

The crowd was beginning to get restless as they threw objects against the outside of the cage wall before being pushed back by the guards on hand. April zoned them out however and kept her focus primarily on her opponent. Not being moved from her spot by his earlier words as she continued to lie in wait.

He stood there in a fighting stance before finally he threw his hands up in frustration and shook his head. "You know what? If you aren't actually going to fight then fuck this." He walked over to the cage and took a jogging leap before pushing himself over the cage and walking away.

April raised an eyebrow as the man took his leave of the cage to a chorus of boos from the angry crowd who felt ripped off by this bout. Unsure of what else to do, the official raised up her hand and she was announced the winner by forfeit. It wasn't how she wanted to win but that how it ended up happening. Still taken aback by the display of impatience on the part of her opponent, April left through the cage door and returned to the back room to pick up her paycheck.
