Apocalypse looks around and sees no civilization near bye. However, he remains cautions and continues to search around the area he has found. This is not egypt, however it will do for now...Apocalypse went to some of the trees and morphed his hand into an axe. He began to chop down trees, and placing the logs near the edge of the mountain to provide shelter. (sigh)"This would be easier if there were some mutants, or even feeble humans here..."His hand reformed to his normal hand, and we walks to the crystal lake. He reaches the edge, and then turns to his right, and focuses on a small patch of cleared land. There, a spaceship shimmers into view, and Apocalypse walks to it. He enters into the ship, and walks to the command center. He presses a button on the ship and begins to record a message. "Message record:" For those who are strong, for those who crave power, for those who are will to do anything to gain power, come to me, to start a new era, come to me. Travel into the lands of the unknown to find me. Meet me in the field where four pillars of wood is found in square. For those who are found worthy, much more power. Message end. Send message to all who posses some sort of power, no person who is weak. Wait one hour before the broadcast. Do not send to anyone who may not wish to follow me"With that, Apocalypse exits the ship, and chops down four trees, and leaves his new base. He begin to sprint away, to the field that he mentioned. After reaching the field within 50 minutes, he places the logs within a square. He begins to etch drawings within all of them. One with a jolly roger, one with claw, one with a scythe, and one a sword. When he finished, he looks up, and sees his ship fly off above him. Now, now I must wait, for soon, I shall have my horsemen.[This is the land that is the base that was first mentioned 3.bp.blogspot.com/_xo0C8V-_iZI/TUkqa-z87vI/AAAAAAAAACI/xlj_l5nDVh0/s1600/wallpaper.jpg]

Honestly....he didn't know what to make of this world. It was...perhaps alien was a strange word to use, but that was the first that came to mind. Not the life-forms on it. They were similar enough to what he knew, at least in most cases. But there was a different sort of power that existed. It made him idly muse that it was so far different from the Force and what he knew as his own definition of "power", it would take him quite a while to come to terms with it.
Especially given that his road back to his own home era of space had been...cut off.
He could no longer even feel the prescence of his soldiers in the Force. His former allies were lost to him, and any connection he might have had to attempt a call for aid was lost along with them. He was on his own again, as he had been many times before.
So be it.
He still had power enough, especially with the power he had stolen from the Star Forge. He had been likened to "looking upon the heart of the Force" more than once before; now that much was clear.
As he waited, lost in his own meditative trance, he was awoken by what seemed a message of some sort. So....there was someone who would be offering power? How interesting. The idea of power of any sort was always of intrigue. And the driving force behind this...offer of power was enough to pique his interest similarly. And with his time so free as it was, he saw no great reson why he should not investigate.
And so he was off.
It would take him only a few short minutes to arrive at the indicated location. And then he would simply stride up to the square marked by the mentioned wooden pillars...and wait.

Apocalypse looks up and sees a man walk towards him. He stands up and begins to speak to the man.
"Ah, I see you have gotten my message for you... though I did not know it would be you."
Apocalypse walks towards the pillar with a jolly roger on it. He then turns around to face the man
"Before I start with my proposal for you, I must first explain myself to you as well as you to I. My name that you shall call me is Apocalypse. I want power and control of this land. I come here today to offer power and support, and in return, you will offer me the same. First let me see you power, and then I will consider you to be an ally."
After saying this, Apocalypse folds his arms, and waits for a response.

There seemed to be only one other person there when he arrived, and within a mere few seconds he had risen up and began to speak to his guest. The masked man listened to what was said by this "Apocalypse" with the air of one who has no interest in the matter at hand. But when he requested a demonstration of power...that was when the Sith Lord finally displayed something resembling interest.
"You wish for a demonstration of my power?" he said simply, his fingers curling loosely into fists before he spun on his heel and took several steps away. Lifting one arm, the ground before him ruptured, splitting and cracking before several chunks of it were ripped from their foundations. This went on until everything for yards around him had been ripped asunder from its place in the earth. A casual lifting of his other hand, and lightning speared from his fingertips, striking the earth suspended in the air before him.
It arced to each individual chunk of earth in turn, and all at once they all burst into fine powder. Slowly drifting back down to the ground, the dust andpowder settled back into the scarred holes in the earth, and within mere moments the scene was restored to a point where it was impossible to tell the ground had ever been disturbed.
"Will that suffice?" He lowered his arms to his sides and turned his face back to this Apocalypse. "I must admit to being...at a loss as to what a proper demonstration should be." Had he known the extent of the power this Apocalypse possessed himself, he might have opted to assault him instead for his demonstration....but instigating a battle against an unknown opponent was folly at its finest.
He had patience enough to humor this man and see what plans he had for his goals.

"Hm...that shall do... for now..."
Apocalypse walks towards the pillar with a jolly roger on it.
"I can tell you are strong, but you already knew that. Let me cut to the chase. I have sent a message out that you have found. That means you were selected by my requirements. Now, what I am looking for are generals for my future conquests. Your title, should you accept, would be one of the four horsemen of apocalypse. There are four that you can choose from. There is death *points to jolly roger*, conquest *points to the pillar with a claw*, war *points to the pillar with a sword*, and famine *points to the pillar with a scythe*. If you accept my offer, I can provide power for you and a place at my side when we come to rule. If not, you may leave."

So then.
His demonstration had been enough for this man. How easy he was to please.
But he listened well enough as Apocalypse spoke, indicating what purpose he had sent the call out for. So there were to be four generals, each representing a certain motif... War, Conquest, Famine, and Death. They were an interesting lot to group together, and reminded him of something he had once heard of. But he dismissed that notion and lifted one hand to his masked chin, and tilted his head back in thought.
He already knew which of the four would be suited best for him. It had been his driving goal during his war against the Republic. Conquer it and unite it under his own banner so that it would be ready. Conquer the outer planets and unite them under his forces. It had all been a grand war and scheme...foiled by his own apprentice. Darth Malak now lay dead for that treachery; even with the stolen power of the Star Forge and many other Jedi to aid him he had been no match for Revan.
And so with well-practiced deliberation, he slowly strode toward the pillar emblazoned with a claw and halted before it. "I believe I will continue a role I once held..." And he dropped his arms to his sides once more. "Conquest it shall be."

Apocalypse smiled at the mans remark. Even just seeing a fraction of his ability, he knew that this man would fit well within his role, as long as he behaved. Apocalypse opened his mouth, but fell silent as his ship returned. Smiling again at the return of his ship, Apocalypse turned back to the man.
"Indeed, conquest does seem to suit you well. This is proven through your ambition, as you were the first to show up. You also take initiative as well, which will be good for you role as well. Now, this is something I left out that you should know, each general has an order of superiority over one another. The lowest rank of the generals, though they are all quite valuable, is famine due to the role of espionage, next being war, a front line fighter though not per say strategic as conquest, death is second in command, and his name says it all, and then the highest rank is conquest, for his strategic abilities, prowess, and initiative. Seeing as you seem to being conquest, you must know that you are the general of the generals. Your order supersedes all, excluding my own, so you must have command of the others, is that clear?"

Lady Lia of Eclipse was worried; not because of a lack of communication from her dark haired borer, who was no doubt indisposed, but because of the message she had received from someone -or something- called Apocalypse. The name rung as trouble in her ears, trouble that could not simply be ignored. She ran quickly, having made her way to this continent via the portal in the Great Library; such travel convienent for an Eclipse Knight. Still cautious, and taking silent steps, like darkness itself she had remained undetected by the pair that had met there, and listening carefully to this description of the 'hierarchy' of whatever sort of recruitment this would be.
She stepped gingerly from her hiding place in the shadows; somewhat offended that she had not been able to prove she was the sort to conquer. 'Strategy and tactics' being one of her many specialties; what good is a leader of the Eclipse if she could not conquer. Giving a curt smile to the sith lord, she took to walking right up to him in front of Apocalypse; the monster she presumed was apocalypse in any case. Taking off one of her gloves, and throwing it at the feet of this apparent conqueror. "My dear," she cooed mockingly, "I'll not accept someone as you a conqueror." with a whirl of her dress, she drew her blade -a rather ornate and slightly curved long sword that had seen many a battle from the light though carefully maintained scratches on the silver feather of steel, the thin blade barely visible from a top on view-, her other gloved hand she gripped it in giving a faint blue glow.
It might have been out of boredom that she came; she had a slight interest more in finding about Apocalypse's offer. However, it did insult her slightly at not being able to prove her own worth. The green eyes gave a dangerous look, as she set herself in a defensive stance; she may have issued the challenge, but that simply meant a battle could begin as soon as this man bent and clasped it in his hand, attacking at the same time. A woman she may be, but she was a Knight of Eclipse; a master of blade and magic. She refused to fall easily.

Apocalypse turns to this new women who appeared before him, and his horseman. He heard her remark about not accepting a conqueror. Apocalypse smiled, and in return mockingly replied back to her.
"My dear girl, are you here for power too, well, I am afraid that this man is my conquer, maybe not yours."
Apocalypse begins to talk in a more stern attitude.
"You received my message which proves you are formidable, due to the selection process. If you are here for power, you must prove yourself. You shall either fight my horseman here, or you may fight me, it does not matter."

He folded his arms before his chest as Apocalypse spoke, listenng to the explanation he gave. It was mostly rote and self-explanatory, though the ordering of the ranks was of some minor interest to him. Conquest was to be the leader of the Four? Now that was amusing. He had not given thought to what his rank would be among this little endeavor...but it might serve to be amusing if nothing else, and it just might serve to provide him with some measure of actual information about this world in this little quest that Apocalypse had schemed up.
He lifted his head slightly to respond to the question of his understanding....but paused. He sensed another prescence. It had been there for some time now, lurking and remaining out of sight. But now it chose to reveal itself. And slowly Revan turned his masked gaze toward the woman as she approached him. When she removed one of her gloves and threw it at his feet, he was somewhat confused, but quickly swept it aside at her words.
While the gesture itself might have been unknown to him, the meaning behind it quickly became readily apparent, both from her words and following actions. And then he turned fully to face her as she settled into a combat stance -- a defensive one, though the style was not known to him. Most interesting....so she intended to fight? Who was he to disappoint a challenger. He turned his head toward Apocalypse as he spoke again, and beneath the former mask of Mandalore the Ultimate....he smiled. Lifting one hand, he gestured lightly at the woman before him.
"I will meet her challenge. It should prove entertaining."
And immediately, the glove she had thrown lifted from the ground as if pulled up by invisible hands. His arm settling back across hsi chest, the Dark Lord of the Sith returned his gaze to the challenger as the glove began to radiate a blue glow, sparking and literally humming with energy, not unlike that of the blade of a lightsaber. And then, without warning, it was hurled directly at Lia's chest, like a bullet from a gun.

Lia's sword flashed black as null energy entered her blade, realising quickly that no element was attacking her. She had always disliked fighting psychics; they always cheated. But she was ready, and bringing her sword down, she showed great flexibility as her right leg shot forward to balance herself, the drawing herself tall, she held the blade before her as the glove ripped itself apart. she gave a rather polite smile, before bringing the sword up again, and it flashed with fire in an instant. drawing it back and setting it to a thrust, he pushed forward, the flames strangely leaping off the blade and racing viscously at her opponent, the 'horseman'. While the man dealt with the flames, she dropped down and placed her gloved hand on the ground, whispering. A tiny, blue rune pulsated, barely visible. She brought her sword up and rose a little, the blade shining overhead. "You'd attack a lady? How disrespectful." she remarked with humor, though she knew full well she'd started this. Inside, she wasn't at all confident she could win, but she would have to at least survive. For Grey... she told herself, and once again took the defensive, drawing one of her feet backward.
Ready for what comes next.

"Nullify the attack."
He spoke up, clearly loud enough to be heard, just before the energy-imbued glove was shredded by whatever ability she used. It was not t he Force; that much he could tell for certain. It resonated more with the ancient Sith Sorcery, though even that was not entirely correct or accurate.
"Light the blade aflame." The very instant before her blade actually lit up with fire, he spoke up, lifting his head a fraction of an inch. "Blast the flames from the sword." He lifted one arm and swept his hand to one side. The flames, as if dirt under a stream of water, swept off in the direction of his hand and were extinguished. As she commented on his decision to attack a lady, he smiled under his mask.
He wondered how long it would take her to become unnerved by even this most simple application of Dun Moch.
"Humor...good. It might serve you well." His still-outstretched hand turned, his palm facing the earth below. A sphere of it ripped free from its confines, and rose up to hover just an inch from his downturned palm. "Draw backward into a defensive stance, awaiting my own move into a trap you have no doubt prepared." As he spoke, the sphere of earth re-shaped itself into a thin-blade sword. Little more than a rapier of loose dirt and stone, it seemed it would be of little use in combat.
Then it flashed with a blue glow, and suddenly it looked every bit as hard and cold as steel. And when he grasped the hilt and swung it once through the air it was confirmed; it was no trick, it was an actual blade....though it emmitted a faint trace of the same blue glow the improvised projectile from before had given off, that destructive energy. A much lesser scale -- of a strength intended to stun and deaded nerves and muscle rather than inflict actual damage. Even a glancing blow or shallow cut from this weapon would be dangerous.
And he spun the blade once in his hand, checking its balance, before he turned to one side, his left hand, clutching the blade, held before him. It was a primitive fencing stance, though a careful observer could tell the footwork was all wrong. An intentional "failure" -- he would b lend this primitive style of steel blades with the Force-augmented acrosbatics of Ataru.
"I hope your swordplay is as good as your banter."
And immediately he was off. As quick as the wind he moved, little more than a blur of color as he fueled his movements with the Force, and struck out with a swift, shallow slice aimed low, at his foe's ankles, before immediately retreating and following up with a retreating thrust aimed much higher, near her throat.

Zetsu was walking through a forest and from what he was counting it had been a couple of hours so he decided that he should quicken the pace. And within seconds he was in the ground and going much faster. He saw a flash of light and got back up.
"Ugh, this has been going on for hours. I Need a rest".
"Shut up! We both know this is tiring, but nevertheless, we must go on".
He walked on foot for about twenty yards and stopped and stared out on to an empty plain turned into a battlefield.
"What the, oh. Just another battle. Hmm, I'd better record this. I've never seen these people before. Oh well".
And with that he began recording.

Apocalypse stood and watched the battle ensue, paying attention to his horseman, but also the person who challenged him. He partly didn't care if the horseman lost or not, because he knew that he could give him more power, making him stronger than that woman. Apocalypse sighed, thought that this would take awhile.
While you to fight, I must head to my ship to check on it power.
However, that was not true, he was trying to find 3 more potential horsemen to join his cause. He began to do another program, that would send the ship out to activate another transmission. After he finished, he got off, and calmly walked towards the battle. The ship went up, and began to fly, pausing slightly over the nearby forest. The pause was but only a millisecond, that only someone who knew the ship could detect. Eventually, it flew off out of view. Apocalypse smiled, and continued to watch the battle.

A deserted land, what was supposed to happen here? Was it some kind of test? Drizzel continued walking, there wasn't anything to fight and the messenger had not arrived to indicate that this was a solo quest. You'd think that the messenger would show up as soon as Drizzel got into the inner circle to congratulate him; but Drizzel was starting to think that he had to accomplish something first.
The figure of a spaceship came into view. Drizzel had to get to it. He approached with caution, ready for an attack. But all he found was a message, the messenger had been here. Excellent, Drizzel was on the right track. He scanned over the message "For those who crave power..." this sounded a little too inviting but he did as the instructions said. Maybe some of the other players had found their way here, Drizzel thought he could join Bloodwork, and Blackspell. But not if Blackspell had already achieved all this power. If Blackspell got to the top before he did, Drizzel would knock him off his podium so bad; that the messenger would ban him just for loosing so much health hitting the ground too hard.
