History: Ranma Saotome is the only son of Genma and Nodoka Saotome and heir to the Anything Goes school of Martial Arts alongside Akane Tendo. At the age of two he would begin his training with his father traveling on their own, grooming him into the martial artist he is today. One day at the age of sixteen the two of them arrived to Jusenkyo, China to train. During the training session they fell into the cursed springs that turned people into whatever it was that drowned there. His father turned into a panda while he himself was transformed into a girl. Changing their lives forever.
After returning home to Japan after the end of their training journey Ranma learned that he was to be engaged to one of Genma's friend Soun Tendo's daughters. Ranma didn't take that well and insisted he was going back to China to find a cure for their curse but Gemna knocked him out from behind and dragged him to the Tendo Dojo literally kicking and screaming. Only problem was they arrived in their cursed forms; the panda and the redheaded pigtailed girl. It didn't take the family long to find out about their unique condition, especially Akane who walked in on him as he was just coming out of the shower.
Ranma and Genma remained at the Tendo Dojo, where Ranma faced new rivals, old rivals, adversaries, meet new suitors and old suitors that his dad had made for him due to trickery before bailing out on them and new techniques. Though neither one wanted to be engage to the other, Ranma and Akane began to develop feelings for each other that they both struggled to deny the more time they spent time together. One morning Ranma awoke in the middle of nowhere obliviously heading into Hallowton unaware that he was no longer in Tokyo, Japan. Or even the same universe.
